וַיִּדְבַּק֙ way·yiḏ·baq For he held fast GRAM DICO
בַּֽיהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, to Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
לֹא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
סָ֖ר sār he did depart GRAM DICO
מֵאַֽחֲרָ֑יו mê·’a·ḥă·rāw; from following Him GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׁמֹר֙ way·yiš·mōr but kept GRAM DICO
מִצְוֺתָ֔יו miṣ·wō·ṯāw, His commandments GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO
צִוָּ֥ה ṣiw·wāh had commanded GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מֹשֶֽׁה׃ mō·šeh. Moses GRAM DICO

וְהָיָ֤ה wə·hā·yāh And was GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
עִמּ֔וֹ ‘im·mōw, with him GRAM DICO
בְּכֹ֥ל bə·ḵōl wherever GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- wherever GRAM DICO
יֵצֵ֖א yê·ṣê he went GRAM DICO
–
יַשְׂכִּ֑יל yaś·kîl; he prospered GRAM DICO
וַיִּמְרֹ֥ד way·yim·rōḏ and he rebelled GRAM DICO
בְּמֶֽלֶךְ־ bə·me·leḵ- against the king GRAM DICO
אַשּׁ֖וּר ’aš·šūr of Assyria GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO
עֲבָדֽוֹ׃ ‘ă·ḇā·ḏōw. did serve him GRAM DICO

עַזָּ֖ה ‘az·zāh Gaza GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
גְּבוּלֶ֑יהָ gə·ḇū·le·hā; its territory GRAM DICO
מִמִּגְדַּ֥ל mim·miḡ·dal from GRAM DICO
נוֹצְרִ֖ים nō·wṣ·rîm watchtower GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
עִ֥יר ‘îr city GRAM DICO
מִבְצָֽר׃ miḇ·ṣār. fortified GRAM DICO

חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ ḥiz·qî·yā·hū, Hezekiah GRAM DICO

הִ֚יא hî that [was] GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁנָ֣ה haš·šā·nāh the year GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔ית haš·šə·ḇî·‘îṯ, seventh GRAM DICO
לְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ lə·hō·wō·šê·a‘ of Hoshea GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֖ה ’ê·lāh of Elah GRAM DICO
מֶ֣לֶךְ me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
､
עָלָ֞ה ‘ā·lāh [that] came up GRAM DICO
שַׁלְמַנְאֶ֧סֶר šal·man·’e·ser Shalmaneser GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
אַשּׁ֛וּר ’aš·šūr of Assyria GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְר֖וֹן šō·mə·rō·wn Samaria GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּ֥צַר way·yā·ṣar and besieged GRAM DICO
עָלֶֽיהָ׃ ‘ā·le·hā. it GRAM DICO

וַֽיִּלְכְּדֻ֗הָ way·yil·kə·ḏu·hā, And they took it GRAM DICO
מִקְצֵה֙ miq·ṣêh at the end GRAM DICO
שָׁלֹ֣שׁ šā·lōš of three GRAM DICO
שָׁנִ֔ים šā·nîm, years GRAM DICO
בִּשְׁנַת־ biš·naṯ- in year GRAM DICO
שֵׁ֖שׁ šêš six GRAM DICO
לְחִזְקִיָּ֑ה lə·ḥiz·qî·yāh; of Hezekiah GRAM DICO
､
הִ֣יא hî that [is] GRAM DICO
שְׁנַת־ šə·naṯ- year GRAM DICO
תֵּ֗שַׁע tê·ša‘, nine GRAM DICO
לְהוֹשֵׁ֙עַ֙ lə·hō·wō·šê·a‘ of Hoshea GRAM DICO
מֶ֣לֶךְ me·leḵ king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO
､
נִלְכְּדָ֖ה nil·kə·ḏāh was taken GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ šō·mə·rō·wn. Samaria GRAM DICO

מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- the king GRAM DICO
אַשּׁ֛וּר ’aš·šūr of Assyria GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO
אַשּׁ֑וּרָה ’aš·šū·rāh; to Assyria GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּנְחֵ֞ם way·yan·ḥêm and put them GRAM DICO
בַּחְלַ֧ח baḥ·laḥ in Halah GRAM DICO
וּבְחָב֛וֹר ū·ḇə·ḥā·ḇō·wr and by the Habor GRAM DICO
נְהַ֥ר nə·har the River GRAM DICO
גּוֹזָ֖ן gō·w·zān of Gozan GRAM DICO
､
וְעָרֵ֥י wə·‘ā·rê and in the cities GRAM DICO
מָדָֽי׃ mā·ḏāy. of the Medes GRAM DICO

עַ֣ל ׀ ‘al because GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO

שָׁמְע֗וּ šā·mə·‘ū, they did obey GRAM DICO
בְּקוֹל֙ bə·qō·wl the voice of GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֔ם ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem, their God GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּעַבְרוּ֙ way·ya·‘aḇ·rū but transgressed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בְּרִית֔וֹ bə·rî·ṯōw, His covenant GRAM DICO
､
אֵ֚ת ’êṯ  -  GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- [and] all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
צִוָּ֔ה ṣiw·wāh, had commanded GRAM DICO
､
מֹשֶׁ֖ה mō·šeh Moses GRAM DICO
עֶ֣בֶד ‘e·ḇeḏ the servant of GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and neither GRAM DICO
שָׁמְע֖וּ šā·mə·‘ū they would hear GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō nor GRAM DICO
עָשֽׂוּ׃ ‘ā·śū. do [them] GRAM DICO

עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה ‘eś·rêh [and] ten GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֜ה šā·nāh the year GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ of King GRAM DICO
חִזְקִיָּ֗ה ḥiz·qî·yāh, Hezekiah GRAM DICO
עָלָ֞ה ‘ā·lāh came up GRAM DICO
סַנְחֵרִ֤יב san·ḥê·rîḇ Sennacherib GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
אַשּׁוּר֙ ’aš·šūr of Assyria GRAM DICO
עַ֣ל ‘al against GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
עָרֵ֧י ‘ā·rê cities GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֛ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO
､
הַבְּצֻר֖וֹת hab·bə·ṣu·rō·wṯ the fortified GRAM DICO
וַֽיִּתְפְּשֵֽׂם׃ way·yiṯ·pə·śêm. and took them GRAM DICO
