Juges 15, 7
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
לָהֶם֙ lā·hem to them GRAM
שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן šim·šō·wn, Samson GRAM DICO
אִֽם־ ’im- Since GRAM DICO
תַּעֲשׂ֖וּן ta·‘ă·śūn you would do a thing GRAM DICO
כָּזֹ֑את kā·zōṯ; like this GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֛י kî yet GRAM DICO
אִם־ ’im- surely GRAM DICO
נִקַּ֥מְתִּי niq·qam·tî I will take revenge GRAM DICO
בָכֶ֖ם ḇā·ḵem on you GRAM
וְאַחַ֥ר wə·’a·ḥar and after [that] GRAM DICO
אֶחְדָּֽל׃ ’eḥ·dāl. I will cease GRAM DICO

Juges 15, 8
וַיַּ֨ךְ way·yaḵ So he GRAM DICO
אוֹתָ֥ם ’ō·w·ṯām attacked them GRAM DICO
שׁ֛וֹק šō·wq hip GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- and GRAM DICO
יָרֵ֖ךְ yā·rêḵ thigh GRAM DICO
מַכָּ֣ה mak·kāh with a slaughter GRAM DICO
–
גְדוֹלָ֑ה ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh; great GRAM DICO
וַיֵּ֣רֶד way·yê·reḏ then he went down GRAM DICO
וַיֵּ֔שֶׁב way·yê·šeḇ, and dwelt GRAM DICO
בִּסְעִ֖יף bis·‘îp̄ in the cleft GRAM DICO
סֶ֥לַע se·la‘ of the rock GRAM DICO
עֵיטָֽם׃ ‘ê·ṭām. of Etam GRAM DICO

וַיַּעֲל֣וּ way·ya·‘ă·lū And went up GRAM DICO
､
פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים p̄ə·liš·tîm, the Philistines GRAM DICO
וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ way·ya·ḥă·nū and encamped GRAM DICO
בִּיהוּדָ֑ה bî·hū·ḏāh; in Judah GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּנָּטְשׁ֖וּ way·yin·nā·ṭə·šū and deployed themselves GRAM DICO
בַּלֶּֽחִי׃ bal·le·ḥî. against Lehi GRAM DICO

וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ way·yō·mə·rū And said GRAM DICO
､
אִ֣ישׁ ’îš the men GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֔ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
לָמָ֖ה lā·māh why GRAM DICO
עֲלִיתֶ֣ם ‘ă·lî·ṯem have you come up GRAM DICO
עָלֵ֑ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū; against us GRAM DICO
וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ way·yō·mə·rū, so they answered GRAM DICO
､
לֶאֱס֤וֹר le·’ĕ·sō·wr to arrest GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
שִׁמְשׁוֹן֙ šim·šō·wn Samson GRAM DICO
עָלִ֔ינוּ ‘ā·lî·nū, we have come up GRAM DICO
､
לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת la·‘ă·śō·wṯ to do GRAM DICO
ל֔וֹ lōw, to him GRAM
כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO
עָ֥שָׂה ‘ā·śāh he has done GRAM DICO
לָֽנוּ׃ lā·nū. to us GRAM

וַיֵּרְד֡וּ way·yê·rə·ḏū And went down GRAM DICO
שְׁלֹשֶׁת֩ šə·lō·šeṯ three GRAM DICO
אֲלָפִ֨ים ’ă·lā·p̄îm thousand GRAM DICO
אִ֜ישׁ ’îš men GRAM DICO
מִֽיהוּדָ֗ה mî·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
סְעִיף֮ sə·‘îp̄ the cleft GRAM DICO
סֶ֣לַע se·la‘ of the rock GRAM DICO
עֵיטָם֒ ‘ê·ṭām of Etam GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ way·yō·mə·rū and said GRAM DICO
לְשִׁמְשׁ֗וֹן lə·šim·šō·wn, to Samson GRAM DICO
､
הֲלֹ֤א hă·lō do not GRAM DICO
יָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ yā·ḏa‘·tā you know GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO
מֹשְׁלִ֥ים mō·šə·lîm rule GRAM DICO
בָּ֙נוּ֙ bā·nū over us GRAM
פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים pə·liš·tîm, the Philistines GRAM DICO
וּמַה־ ū·mah- and what [is] GRAM DICO
זֹּ֖את zōṯ this GRAM DICO
עָשִׂ֣יתָ ‘ā·śî·ṯā you have done GRAM DICO
לָּ֑נוּ lā·nū; to us GRAM
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֔ם lā·hem, to them GRAM
כַּאֲשֶׁר֙ ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO
עָ֣שׂוּ ‘ā·śū they did GRAM DICO
לִ֔י lî, to me GRAM
כֵּ֖ן kên so GRAM DICO
עָשִׂ֥יתִי ‘ā·śî·ṯî I have done GRAM DICO
לָהֶֽם׃ lā·hem. to them GRAM

Juges 15, 12
וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ way·yō·mə·rū But they said GRAM DICO
לוֹ֙ lōw to him GRAM
לֶאֱסָרְךָ֣ le·’ĕ·sā·rə·ḵā to arrest you GRAM DICO
יָרַ֔דְנוּ yā·raḏ·nū, we have come down GRAM DICO
לְתִתְּךָ֖ lə·ṯit·tə·ḵā that we may deliver you GRAM DICO
בְּיַד־ bə·yaḏ- into the hand GRAM DICO
פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים pə·liš·tîm; of the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
לָהֶם֙ lā·hem to them GRAM
שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן šim·šō·wn, Samson GRAM DICO
הִשָּׁבְע֣וּ hiš·šā·ḇə·‘ū Swear GRAM DICO
לִ֔י lî, to me GRAM
פֶּֽן־ pen- that GRAM DICO
תִּפְגְּע֥וּן tip̄·gə·‘ūn you will not kill GRAM DICO
בִּ֖י bî me GRAM
אַתֶּֽם׃ ’at·tem. you GRAM DICO

Juges 15, 13
וַיֹּ֧אמְרוּ way·yō·mə·rū So they spoke GRAM DICO
ל֣וֹ lōw to him GRAM
לֵאמֹ֗ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO
､
לֹ֚א lō No GRAM DICO
–
כִּֽי־ kî- but GRAM DICO
אָסֹ֤ר ’ā·sōr securely GRAM DICO
נֶֽאֱסָרְךָ֙ ne·’ĕ·sā·rə·ḵā we will tie you GRAM DICO
､
וּנְתַנּ֣וּךָ ū·nə·ṯan·nū·ḵā and deliver you GRAM DICO
בְיָדָ֔ם ḇə·yā·ḏām, into their hand GRAM DICO
–
וְהָמֵ֖ת wə·hā·mêṯ but surely GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
נְמִיתֶ֑ךָ nə·mî·ṯe·ḵā; we will kill you GRAM DICO
וַיַּאַסְרֻ֗הוּ way·ya·’as·ru·hū, and they bound him GRAM DICO
בִּשְׁנַ֙יִם֙ biš·na·yim with two GRAM DICO
עֲבֹתִ֣ים ‘ă·ḇō·ṯîm ropes GRAM DICO
､
חֲדָשִׁ֔ים ḥă·ḏā·šîm, new GRAM DICO
וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּהוּ way·ya·‘ă·lū·hū and brought him up GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַסָּֽלַע׃ has·sā·la‘. the rock GRAM DICO

הוּא־ hū- [when] he GRAM DICO
בָ֣א ḇā came GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
לֶ֔חִי le·ḥî, Lehi GRAM DICO
､
וּפִלְשִׁתִּ֖ים‪‬‪‬‪‬‪‬‪‬ ū·p̄ə·liš·tîm and the Philistines GRAM DICO
הֵרִ֣יעוּ hê·rî·‘ū came shouting GRAM DICO
לִקְרָאת֑וֹ liq·rā·ṯōw; against him GRAM DICO
וַתִּצְלַ֨ח wat·tiṣ·laḥ and came mightily GRAM DICO
עָלָ֜יו ‘ā·lāw upon him GRAM DICO
ר֣וּחַ rū·aḥ the Spirit GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
וַתִּהְיֶ֨ינָה wat·tih·ye·nāh and became GRAM DICO
הָעֲבֹתִ֜ים hā·‘ă·ḇō·ṯîm the ropes GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that [were] GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
זְרוֹעוֹתָ֗יו zə·rō·w·‘ō·w·ṯāw, his arms GRAM DICO
כַּפִּשְׁתִּים֙ kap·piš·tîm like flax GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
בָּעֲר֣וּ bā·‘ă·rū is burned GRAM DICO
בָאֵ֔שׁ ḇā·’êš, with fire GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּמַּ֥סּוּ way·yim·mas·sū and broke loose GRAM DICO
אֱסוּרָ֖יו ’ĕ·sū·rāw his bonds GRAM DICO
מֵעַ֥ל mê·‘al from GRAM DICO
יָדָֽיו׃ yā·ḏāw. his hands GRAM DICO
