וַ֠יַּשְׁכֵּם way·yaš·kêm And when arose early GRAM DICO
､
מְשָׁרֵ֨ת mə·šā·rêṯ the servant GRAM DICO
אִ֥ישׁ ’îš of the man GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִים֮ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm of God GRAM DICO
לָקוּם֒ lā·qūm was risen GRAM DICO
וַיֵּצֵ֕א way·yê·ṣê and went out GRAM DICO
､
וְהִנֵּה־ wə·hin·nêh- and there was GRAM DICO
､
חַ֛יִל ḥa·yil an army GRAM DICO
סוֹבֵ֥ב sō·w·ḇêḇ surrounding GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָעִ֖יר hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO
וְס֣וּס wə·sūs and with horses GRAM DICO
וָרָ֑כֶב wā·rā·ḵeḇ; and chariots GRAM DICO
.
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
נַעֲר֥וֹ na·‘ă·rōw his servant GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֛יו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
אֲהָ֥הּ ’ă·hāh Alas GRAM DICO
､
אֲדֹנִ֖י ’ă·ḏō·nî my master GRAM DICO
!
אֵיכָ֥ה ’ê·ḵāh what GRAM DICO
נַֽעֲשֶֽׂה׃ na·‘ă·śeh. shall we do GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר way·yō·mer so he answered GRAM DICO
､
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
–
תִּירָ֑א tî·rā; do fear GRAM DICO
כִּ֤י kî for GRAM DICO
רַבִּים֙ rab·bîm more [are] GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer those who [are] GRAM DICO
אִתָּ֔נוּ ’it·tā·nū, with us GRAM DICO
מֵאֲשֶׁ֖ר mê·’ă·šer than those who [are] GRAM DICO
אוֹתָֽם׃ ’ō·w·ṯām. with them GRAM DICO

וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֤ל way·yiṯ·pal·lêl And prayed GRAM DICO
､
אֱלִישָׁע֙ ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ Elisha GRAM DICO
וַיֹּאמַ֔ר way·yō·mar, and said GRAM DICO
､
יְהוָ֕ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
פְּקַח־ pə·qaḥ- open GRAM DICO
נָ֥א nā I pray GRAM DICO
､
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֵינָ֖יו ‘ê·nāw his eyes GRAM DICO
､
וְיִרְאֶ֑ה wə·yir·’eh; that he may see GRAM DICO
.
וַיִּפְקַ֤ח way·yip̄·qaḥ And opened GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֵינֵ֣י ‘ê·nê the eyes GRAM DICO
הַנַּ֔עַר han·na·‘ar, of the young man GRAM DICO
–
וַיַּ֗רְא way·yar, and he saw GRAM DICO
–
וְהִנֵּ֨ה wə·hin·nêh and behold GRAM DICO
､
הָהָ֜ר hā·hār the mountain [was] GRAM DICO
מָלֵ֨א mā·lê full GRAM DICO
סוּסִ֥ים sū·sîm of horses GRAM DICO
וְרֶ֛כֶב wə·re·ḵeḇ and chariots GRAM DICO
אֵ֖שׁ ’êš of fire GRAM DICO
סְבִיבֹ֥ת sə·ḇî·ḇōṯ all around GRAM DICO
אֱלִישָֽׁע׃ ’ĕ·lî·šā‘. Elisha GRAM DICO

וַיֵּרְדוּ֮ way·yê·rə·ḏū So when [the Syrians] came down GRAM DICO
אֵלָיו֒ ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֨ל way·yiṯ·pal·lêl and prayed GRAM DICO
אֱלִישָׁ֤ע ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ Elisha GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּאמַ֔ר way·yō·mar, and said GRAM DICO
､
הַךְ־ haḵ- Strike GRAM DICO
נָ֥א nā I pray GRAM DICO
､
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַגּוֹי־ hag·gō·w- people GRAM DICO
､
הַזֶּ֖ה haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
בַּסַּנְוֵרִ֑ים bas·san·wê·rîm; with blindness GRAM DICO
.
וַיַּכֵּ֥ם way·yak·kêm And He struck them GRAM DICO
בַּסַּנְוֵרִ֖ים bas·san·wê·rîm with blindness GRAM DICO
כִּדְבַ֥ר kiḏ·ḇar according to the word GRAM DICO
אֱלִישָֽׁע׃ ’ĕ·lî·šā‘. of Elisha GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֜ם ’ă·lê·hem to them GRAM DICO
אֱלִישָׁ֗ע ’ĕ·lî·šā‘, Elisha GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
זֶ֣ה zeh this [is] GRAM DICO
הַדֶּרֶךְ֮ had·de·reḵ the way GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֣א wə·lō nor GRAM DICO
זֹ֣ה zōh [is] this GRAM DICO
הָעִיר֒ hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO
–
לְכ֣וּ lə·ḵū Follow GRAM DICO
אַחֲרַ֔י ’a·ḥă·ray, me GRAM DICO
וְאוֹלִ֣יכָה wə·’ō·w·lî·ḵāh and I will bring GRAM DICO
אֶתְכֶ֔ם ’eṯ·ḵem, you GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הָאִ֖ישׁ hā·’îš the man GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer whom GRAM DICO
תְּבַקֵּשׁ֑וּן tə·ḇaq·qê·šūn; you seek GRAM DICO
.
וַיֹּ֥לֶךְ way·yō·leḵ But he led GRAM DICO
אוֹתָ֖ם ’ō·w·ṯām them GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֽוֹנָה׃ šō·mə·rō·w·nāh. to Samaria GRAM DICO

וַיְהִי֮ way·hî So it was GRAM DICO
､
כְּבֹאָ֣ם kə·ḇō·’ām when they had come GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרוֹן֒ šō·mə·rō·wn to Samaria GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer that said GRAM DICO
､
אֱלִישָׁ֔ע ’ĕ·lî·šā‘, Elisha GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֕ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
פְּקַ֥ח pə·qaḥ open GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֵינֵֽי־ ‘ê·nê- the eyes GRAM DICO
אֵ֖לֶּה ’êl·leh of these [men] GRAM DICO
וְיִרְא֑וּ wə·yir·’ū; that they may see GRAM DICO
.
וַיִּפְקַ֤ח way·yip̄·qaḥ And opened GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם ‘ê·nê·hem, their eyes GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּרְא֕וּ way·yir·’ū and they saw GRAM DICO
–
וְהִנֵּ֖ה wə·hin·nêh and there [they were] GRAM DICO
､
בְּת֥וֹךְ bə·ṯō·wḵ inside GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ šō·mə·rō·wn. Samaria GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And he said GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- the king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
אֱלִישָׁ֔ע ’ĕ·lî·šā‘, Elisha GRAM DICO
､
כִּרְאֹת֖וֹ kir·’ō·ṯōw when saw GRAM DICO
אוֹתָ֑ם ’ō·w·ṯām; them GRAM DICO
הַאַכֶּ֥ה ha·’ak·keh shall I kill [them] GRAM DICO
אַכֶּ֖ה ’ak·keh shall I kill [them] GRAM DICO
אָבִֽי׃ ’ā·ḇî. My father GRAM DICO
