I Rois 20, 10
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח way·yiš·laḥ And sent GRAM DICO
אֵלָיו֙ ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- in GRAM
הֲדַ֔ד hă·ḏaḏ, Ben-hadad GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
､
כֹּֽה־ kōh- so GRAM DICO
יַעֲשׂ֥וּן ya·‘ă·śūn do GRAM DICO
לִ֛י lî to me GRAM
אֱלֹהִ֖ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm the gods GRAM DICO
וְכֹ֣ה wə·ḵōh and also GRAM DICO
､
יוֹסִ֑פוּ yō·w·si·p̄ū; more GRAM DICO
אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
יִשְׂפֹּק֙ yiś·pōq is left GRAM DICO
עֲפַ֣ר ‘ă·p̄ar [enough] dust GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְר֔וֹן šō·mə·rō·wn, of Samaria GRAM DICO
לִשְׁעָלִ֕ים liš·‘ā·lîm for a handful GRAM DICO
לְכָל־ lə·ḵāl for each GRAM DICO
הָעָ֖ם hā·‘ām of the people GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer who GRAM DICO
בְּרַגְלָֽי׃ bə·raḡ·lāy. follow me GRAM DICO

וַיַּ֤עַן way·ya·‘an So answered GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- the king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
､
דַּבְּר֔וּ dab·bə·rū, Tell [him] GRAM DICO
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
יִתְהַלֵּ֥ל yiṯ·hal·lêl let boast GRAM DICO
חֹגֵ֖ר ḥō·ḡêr the one who puts on [his armor] GRAM DICO
כִּמְפַתֵּֽחַ׃ kim·p̄at·tê·aḥ. like the one who takes [it off] GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֗י way·hî, And it came to pass GRAM DICO
､
כִּשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙ kiš·mō·a‘ when [Ben-hadad] heard GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָ֣ר had·dā·ḇār message GRAM DICO
､
הַזֶּ֔ה haz·zeh, this GRAM DICO
וְה֥וּא wə·hū and as he GRAM DICO
שֹׁתֶ֛ה šō·ṯeh [was] drinking GRAM DICO
､
ה֥וּא hū he GRAM DICO
וְהַמְּלָכִ֖ים wə·ham·mə·lā·ḵîm and the kings GRAM DICO
בַּסֻּכּ֑וֹת bas·suk·kō·wṯ; at the command post GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer that he said GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
עֲבָדָיו֙ ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw his servants GRAM DICO
､
שִׂ֔ימוּ śî·mū, Get ready GRAM DICO
וַיָּשִׂ֖ימוּ way·yā·śî·mū and they got ready to attack GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
הָעִֽיר׃ hā·‘îr. the city GRAM DICO

וְהִנֵּ֣ה ׀ wə·hin·nêh And suddenly GRAM DICO
､
נָבִ֣יא nā·ḇî prophet GRAM DICO
אֶחָ֗ד ’e·ḥāḏ, a GRAM DICO
נִגַּשׁ֮ nig·gaš approached GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- unto GRAM DICO
אַחְאָ֣ב ’aḥ·’āḇ Ahab GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, and saying GRAM DICO
､
כֹּ֚ה kōh thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
הְֽרָאִ֔יתָ hə·rā·’î·ṯā, have you seen GRAM DICO
אֵ֛ת ’êṯ  -  GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הֶהָמ֥וֹן he·hā·mō·wn multitude GRAM DICO
؟
הַגָּד֖וֹל hag·gā·ḏō·wl great GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; this GRAM DICO
הִנְנִ֨י hin·nî behold GRAM DICO
נֹתְנ֤וֹ nō·ṯə·nōw I will deliver it GRAM DICO
בְיָֽדְךָ֙ ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā into your hand GRAM DICO
הַיּ֔וֹם hay·yō·wm, today GRAM DICO
–
וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ wə·yā·ḏa‘·tā and you shall know GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO
אֲנִ֥י ’ă·nî I [am] GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

אַחְאָב֙ ’aḥ·’āḇ Ahab GRAM DICO
בְּמִ֔י bə·mî, by whom GRAM DICO
؟
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO
､
כֹּֽה־ kōh- thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
בְּנַעֲרֵ֖י bə·na·‘ă·rê by the young GRAM DICO
שָׂרֵ֣י śā·rê leaders GRAM DICO
הַמְּדִינ֑וֹת ham·mə·ḏî·nō·wṯ; of the provinces GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֛אמֶר way·yō·mer And he said GRAM DICO
､
מִֽי־ mî- who GRAM DICO
יֶאְסֹ֥ר ye’·sōr will set in order GRAM DICO
הַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה ham·mil·ḥā·māh the battle GRAM DICO
؟
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר way·yō·mer and he answered GRAM DICO
､
אָֽתָּה׃ ’āt·tāh. You GRAM DICO

וַיִּפְקֹ֗ד way·yip̄·qōḏ, And he mustered GRAM DICO
אֶֽת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
נַעֲרֵי֙ na·‘ă·rê the young GRAM DICO
שָׂרֵ֣י śā·rê leaders GRAM DICO
הַמְּדִינ֔וֹת ham·mə·ḏî·nō·wṯ, of the provinces GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּהְי֕וּ way·yih·yū and there were GRAM DICO
מָאתַ֖יִם mā·ṯa·yim two hundred GRAM DICO
שְׁנַ֣יִם šə·na·yim two GRAM DICO
–
וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֑ים ū·šə·lō·šîm; and thirty GRAM DICO
וְאַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם wə·’a·ḥă·rê·hem, and after them GRAM DICO
פָּקַ֧ד pā·qaḏ he mustered GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָעָ֛ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
､
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֥י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
､
שִׁבְעַ֥ת šiḇ·‘aṯ seven GRAM DICO
אֲלָפִֽים׃ ’ă·lā·p̄îm. thousand GRAM DICO

וַיֵּצְא֖וּ way·yê·ṣə·’ū So they went out GRAM DICO
בַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִם baṣ·ṣā·ho·rā·yim; at noon GRAM DICO

וּבֶן־ ū·ḇen- And Meanwhile
הֲדַד֩ hă·ḏaḏ Ben-hadad GRAM DICO
שֹׁתֶ֨ה šō·ṯeh were getting GRAM DICO
שִׁכּ֜וֹר šik·kō·wr drunk GRAM DICO
בַּסֻּכּ֗וֹת bas·suk·kō·wṯ, at the command post GRAM DICO
､
ה֧וּא hū he GRAM DICO
וְהַמְּלָכִ֛ים wə·ham·mə·lā·ḵîm and the kings GRAM DICO
､
שְׁלֹשִֽׁים־ šə·lō·šîm- thirty GRAM DICO
וּשְׁנַ֥יִם ū·šə·na·yim and two GRAM DICO
מֶ֖לֶךְ me·leḵ kings GRAM DICO
עֹזֵ֥ר ‘ō·zêr helping GRAM DICO
אֹתֽוֹ׃ ’ō·ṯōw. him GRAM DICO
