I Chroniques 28, 2

וַיָּ֨קָם way·yā·qām And rose GRAM DICO

דָּוִ֤יד dā·wîḏ David GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ King GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- to GRAM DICO

רַגְלָ֔יו raḡ·lāw, his feet GRAM DICO

､

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO

､

שְׁמָע֖וּנִי šə·mā·‘ū·nî Hear me GRAM DICO

אַחַ֣י ’a·ḥay my brothers GRAM DICO

､

וְעַמִּ֑י wə·‘am·mî; and my people GRAM DICO

–

אֲנִ֣י ’ă·nî I [had it] GRAM DICO

עִם־ ‘im- in GRAM DICO

לְבָבִ֡י lə·ḇā·ḇî my heart GRAM DICO

לִבְנוֹת֩ liḇ·nō·wṯ to build GRAM DICO

בֵּ֨ית bêṯ a house GRAM DICO

מְנוּחָ֜ה mə·nū·ḥāh of rest GRAM DICO

לַאֲר֣וֹן la·’ă·rō·wn for the ark GRAM DICO

בְּרִית־ bə·rîṯ- of the covenant GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

וְלַהֲדֹם֙ wə·la·hă·ḏōm for GRAM DICO

רַגְלֵ֣י raḡ·lê the footstool GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū, of our God GRAM DICO

､

וַהֲכִינ֖וֹתִי wa·hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî and had made preparations GRAM DICO

לִבְנֽוֹת׃ liḇ·nō·wṯ. to build it GRAM DICO

וְהָאֱלֹהִים֙ wə·hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm but God GRAM DICO

אָ֣מַר ’ā·mar said GRAM DICO

לִ֔י lî, to me GRAM

לֹא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

תִבְנֶ֥ה ṯiḇ·neh You shall build GRAM DICO

בַ֖יִת ḇa·yiṯ a house GRAM DICO

לִשְׁמִ֑י liš·mî; for My name GRAM DICO

､

כִּ֣י kî because GRAM DICO

אִ֧ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO

מִלְחָמ֛וֹת mil·ḥā·mō·wṯ of war GRAM DICO

､

אַ֖תָּה ’at·tāh you [have been] GRAM DICO

וְדָמִ֥ים wə·ḏā·mîm and blood GRAM DICO

שָׁפָֽכְתָּ׃ šā·p̄ā·ḵə·tā. have shed GRAM DICO

וַיִּבְחַ֡ר way·yiḇ·ḥar And However chose GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵי֩ ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

בִּ֜י bî me GRAM

מִכֹּ֣ל mik·kōl above all GRAM DICO

בֵּית־ bêṯ- the house GRAM DICO

אָבִ֗י ’ā·ḇî, of my father GRAM DICO

לִהְי֨וֹת lih·yō·wṯ to be GRAM DICO

לְמֶ֤לֶךְ lə·me·leḵ king GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO

לְעוֹלָ֔ם lə·‘ō·w·lām, forever GRAM DICO

כִּ֤י kî For GRAM DICO

בִֽיהוּדָה֙ ḇî·hū·ḏāh Judah [to be] GRAM DICO

בָּחַ֣ר bā·ḥar He has chosen GRAM DICO

לְנָגִ֔יד lə·nā·ḡîḏ, the ruler GRAM DICO

–

וּבְבֵ֥ית ū·ḇə·ḇêṯ and of the house GRAM DICO

יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO

､

בֵּ֣ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO

אָבִ֑י ’ā·ḇî; of my father GRAM DICO

–

וּבִבְנֵ֣י ū·ḇiḇ·nê and among the sons GRAM DICO

אָבִ֔י ’ā·ḇî, of my father GRAM DICO

בִּ֣י bî with me GRAM

רָצָ֔ה rā·ṣāh, He was pleased GRAM DICO

לְהַמְלִ֖יךְ lə·ham·lîḵ to make [me] king GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. Israel GRAM DICO

וּמִכָּ֨ל־ ū·mik·kāl- And of all GRAM DICO

בָּנַ֔י bā·nay, my sons GRAM DICO

､

כִּ֚י kî for GRAM DICO

רַבִּ֣ים rab·bîm many GRAM DICO

בָּנִ֔ים bā·nîm, sons GRAM DICO

נָ֥תַן nā·ṯan has given GRAM DICO

לִ֖י lî me GRAM

יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיִּבְחַר֙ way·yiḇ·ḥar and He has chosen GRAM DICO

בִּשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה biš·lō·mōh Solomon GRAM DICO

בְנִ֔י ḇə·nî, my son GRAM DICO

לָשֶׁ֗בֶת lā·še·ḇeṯ, to sit GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO

כִּסֵּ֛א kis·sê the throne GRAM DICO

מַלְכ֥וּת mal·ḵūṯ of the kingdom GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. Israel GRAM DICO

I Chroniques 28, 6

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer And He said GRAM DICO

לִ֔י lî, to me GRAM

שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה šə·lō·mōh [As for] Solomon GRAM DICO

בִנְךָ֔ ḇin·ḵā, your son GRAM DICO

､

הֽוּא־ hū- he GRAM DICO

יִבְנֶ֥ה yiḇ·neh shall build GRAM DICO

בֵיתִ֖י ḇê·ṯî My house GRAM DICO

וַחֲצֵרוֹתָ֑י wa·ḥă·ṣê·rō·w·ṯāy; and My courts GRAM DICO

–

כִּי־ kî- for GRAM DICO

בָחַ֨רְתִּי ḇā·ḥar·tî I have chosen GRAM DICO

ב֥וֹ ḇōw him [to be] GRAM

לִי֙ lî My GRAM

לְבֵ֔ן lə·ḇên, son GRAM DICO

､

וַאֲנִ֖י wa·’ă·nî and I GRAM DICO

אֶֽהְיֶה־ ’eh·yeh- will be GRAM DICO

לּ֥וֹ lōw his GRAM

לְאָֽב׃ lə·’āḇ. Father GRAM DICO

I Chroniques 28, 7

וַהֲכִינוֹתִ֥י wa·hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî Moreover I will establish GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

מַלְכוּת֖וֹ mal·ḵū·ṯōw his kingdom GRAM DICO

עַד־ ‘aḏ- even to GRAM DICO

לְעוֹלָ֑ם lə·‘ō·w·lām; forever GRAM DICO

､

אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO

יֶחֱזַ֗ק ye·ḥĕ·zaq, he is steadfast GRAM DICO

לַעֲשׂ֛וֹת la·‘ă·śō·wṯ to observe GRAM DICO

מִצְוֺתַ֥י miṣ·wō·ṯay My commandments GRAM DICO

וּמִשְׁפָּטַ֖י ū·miš·pā·ṭay and My judgments GRAM DICO

､

כַּיּ֥וֹם kay·yō·wm as it is day GRAM DICO

הַזֶּֽה׃ haz·zeh. this GRAM DICO

I Chroniques 28, 8

וְ֠עַתָּה wə·‘at·tāh And therefore GRAM DICO

לְעֵינֵ֨י lə·‘ê·nê in the sight GRAM DICO

כָל־ ḵāl of all GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO

קְהַל־ qə·hal- the assembly GRAM DICO

יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

וּבְאָזְנֵ֣י ū·ḇə·’ā·zə·nê and in the hearing GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū, of our God GRAM DICO

､

שִׁמְר֣וּ šim·rū be careful GRAM DICO

וְדִרְשׁ֔וּ wə·ḏir·šū, and to seek out GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

מִצְוֺ֖ת miṣ·wōṯ the commandments GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem; your God GRAM DICO

–

לְמַ֤עַן lə·ma·‘an that GRAM DICO

תִּֽירְשׁוּ֙ tî·rə·šū you may possess GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הָאָ֣רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ land GRAM DICO

､

הַטּוֹבָ֔ה haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh, this good GRAM DICO

וְהִנְחַלְתֶּ֛ם wə·hin·ḥal·tem and leave [it] as an inheritance GRAM DICO

לִבְנֵיכֶ֥ם liḇ·nê·ḵem for your children GRAM DICO

אַחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם ’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem after you GRAM DICO

עַד־ ‘aḏ- for GRAM DICO

עוֹלָֽם׃ ‘ō·w·lām. ever GRAM DICO
