וַתַּעֲרֹ֤ךְ wat·ta·‘ă·rōḵ For had drawn up in battle array GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO

עֹלֶ֑ה ‘ō·leh; he has come up GRAM DICO

וְֽ֠הָיָה wə·hā·yāh and it shall be [that] GRAM DICO

הָאִ֨ישׁ hā·’îš the man GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- who GRAM DICO

יַכֶּ֜נּוּ yak·ken·nū kills him GRAM DICO

יַעְשְׁרֶ֥נּוּ ya‘·šə·ren·nū will enrich GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ ׀ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO

עֹ֣שֶׁר ‘ō·šer with riches GRAM DICO

גָּד֗וֹל gā·ḏō·wl, great GRAM DICO

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO

בִּתּוֹ֙ bit·tōw his daughter GRAM DICO

בֵּ֣ית bêṯ house GRAM DICO

וְהֵסִ֥יר wə·hê·sîr and takes away GRAM DICO

חֶרְפָּ֖ה ḥer·pāh the reproach GRAM DICO

מֵעַ֣ל mê·‘al from GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO

כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO

מִ֗י mî, who [is] GRAM DICO

הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֤י hap·pə·liš·tî Philistine GRAM DICO

הֶֽעָרֵל֙ he·‘ā·rêl uncircumcised GRAM DICO

הַזֶּ֔ה haz·zeh, this GRAM DICO

כִּ֣י kî that GRAM DICO

חֵרֵ֔ף ḥê·rêp̄, he should defy GRAM DICO

מַעַרְכ֖וֹת ma·‘ar·ḵō·wṯ the armies GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהִ֥ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm of the God GRAM DICO

חַיִּֽים׃ ḥay·yîm. living GRAM DICO
