Jonas 4, 8

וַיְהִ֣י ׀ way·hî And it came to pass GRAM DICO

､

כִּזְרֹ֣חַ kiz·rō·aḥ when arose GRAM DICO

､

הַשֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ haš·še·meš, the sun GRAM DICO

וַיְמַ֨ן way·man that prepared GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהִ֜ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO

ר֤וּחַ rū·aḥ a wind GRAM DICO

–

קָדִים֙ qā·ḏîm east GRAM DICO

חֲרִישִׁ֔ית ḥă·rî·šîṯ, vehement GRAM DICO

וַתַּ֥ךְ wat·taḵ and beat GRAM DICO

הַשֶּׁ֛מֶשׁ haš·še·meš the sun GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO

רֹ֥אשׁ rōš head GRAM DICO

יוֹנָ֖ה yō·w·nāh of Jonah GRAM DICO

､

וַיִּתְעַלָּ֑ף way·yiṯ·‘al·lāp̄; so that he grew faint GRAM DICO

､

וַיִּשְׁאַ֤ל way·yiš·’al and he wished GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

נַפְשׁוֹ֙ nap̄·šōw for himself GRAM DICO

לָמ֔וּת lā·mūṯ, death GRAM DICO

､

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO

､

ט֥וֹב ṭō·wḇ [it is] better GRAM DICO

מוֹתִ֖י mō·w·ṯî for me to die GRAM DICO

מֵחַיָּֽי׃ mê·ḥay·yāy. than to live GRAM DICO

Jonas 4, 9

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהִים֙ ’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

יוֹנָ֔ה yō·w·nāh, Jonah GRAM DICO

הַהֵיטֵ֥ב ha·hê·ṭêḇ [is it] right GRAM DICO

חָרָֽה־ ḥā·rāh- to be angry GRAM DICO

לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā for you GRAM

עַל־ ‘al- about GRAM DICO

הַקִּֽיקָי֑וֹן haq·qî·qā·yō·wn; the plant GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO

､

הֵיטֵ֥ב hê·ṭêḇ [it is] right GRAM DICO

חָֽרָה־ ḥā·rāh- to be angry GRAM DICO

､

לִ֖י lî for me GRAM

עַד־ ‘aḏ- even to GRAM DICO

מָֽוֶת׃ mā·weṯ. death GRAM DICO

Jonas 4, 10

אַתָּ֥ה ’at·tāh You GRAM DICO

חַ֙סְתָּ֙ ḥas·tā have had pity GRAM DICO

הַקִּ֣יקָי֔וֹן haq·qî·qā·yō·wn, the plant GRAM DICO

､

אֲשֶׁ֛ר ’ă·šer for which GRAM DICO

לֹא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

עָמַ֥לְתָּ ‘ā·mal·tā you have labored GRAM DICO

､

בּ֖וֹ bōw in GRAM

וְלֹ֣א wə·lō nor GRAM DICO

גִדַּלְתּ֑וֹ ḡid·dal·tōw; made it grow GRAM DICO

שֶׁבִּן־ šeb·bin- which in GRAM DICO

לַ֥יְלָה lay·lāh a night GRAM DICO

､

הָיָ֖ה hā·yāh came up GRAM DICO

וּבִן־ ū·ḇin- and in GRAM DICO

לַ֥יְלָה lay·lāh a night GRAM DICO

–

אָבָֽד׃ ’ā·ḇāḏ. perished GRAM DICO

Jonas 4, 11

וַֽאֲנִי֙ wa·’ă·nî And I GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

אָח֔וּס ’ā·ḥūs, should pity GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO

נִינְוֵ֖ה nî·nə·wêh Nineveh GRAM DICO

､

הָעִ֣יר hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO

､

הַגְּדוֹלָ֑ה hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh; great GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer in which GRAM DICO

יֶשׁ־ yeš- are GRAM DICO

בָּ֡הּ bāh are GRAM

הַרְבֵּה֩ har·bêh more GRAM DICO

מִֽשְׁתֵּים־ miš·têm- than two GRAM DICO

עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה ‘eś·rêh [and] ten [times] GRAM DICO

רִבּ֜וֹ rib·bōw ten thousand GRAM DICO

אָדָ֗ם ’ā·ḏām, persons GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer who GRAM DICO

לֹֽא־ lō- cannot GRAM DICO

יָדַע֙ yā·ḏa‘ discern GRAM DICO

בֵּין־ bên- between GRAM DICO

יְמִינ֣וֹ yə·mî·nōw their right hand GRAM DICO

לִשְׂמֹאל֔וֹ liś·mō·lōw, and their left GRAM DICO

וּבְהֵמָ֖ה ū·ḇə·hê·māh and livestock GRAM DICO

רַבָּֽה׃ rab·bāh. much GRAM DICO
