Esther 7, 8
וְהַמֶּ֡לֶךְ wə·ham·me·leḵ And when the king GRAM DICO
שָׁב֩ šāḇ returned GRAM DICO
מִגִּנַּ֨ת mig·gin·naṯ from garden GRAM DICO
הַבִּיתָ֜ן hab·bî·ṯān the palace GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית ׀ bêṯ the place GRAM DICO
מִשְׁתֵּ֣ה miš·têh of the banquet GRAM DICO
הַיַּ֗יִן hay·ya·yin, of wine GRAM DICO
–
וְהָמָן֙ wə·hā·mān and Haman GRAM DICO
נֹפֵ֔ל nō·p̄êl, had fallen GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- across GRAM DICO
הַמִּטָּה֙ ham·miṭ·ṭāh the couch GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer where GRAM DICO
אֶסְתֵּ֣ר ’es·têr Esther [was] GRAM DICO
עָלֶ֔יהָ ‘ā·le·hā, on that GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
הֲ֠גַם hă·ḡam will also GRAM DICO
לִכְבּ֧וֹשׁ liḵ·bō·wōš he assault GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמַּלְכָּ֛ה ham·mal·kāh the queen GRAM DICO
עִמִּ֖י ‘im·mî while GRAM DICO
בַּבָּ֑יִת bab·bā·yiṯ; I [am] in the house GRAM DICO
؟
הַדָּבָ֗ר had·dā·ḇār, as the word GRAM DICO
יָצָא֙ yā·ṣā left GRAM DICO
מִפִּ֣י mip·pî mouth GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO
וּפְנֵ֥י ū·p̄ə·nê and face GRAM DICO

הָמָ֖ן hā·mān Of Haman GRAM DICO
חָפֽוּ׃ ḥā·p̄ū. they covered GRAM DICO

הַסָּרִיסִ֜ים has·sā·rî·sîm the eunuchs GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
גַּ֣ם gam also GRAM DICO
､
הִנֵּה־ hin·nêh- Look GRAM DICO
הָעֵ֣ץ hā·‘êṣ the gallows GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֪ה ‘ā·śāh made GRAM DICO
הָמָ֟ן hā·mān Haman GRAM DICO
לְֽמָרְדֳּכַ֞י lə·mā·rə·do·ḵay for Mordecai GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֧ר ’ă·šer who GRAM DICO
דִּבֶּר־ dib·ber- spoke GRAM DICO
ט֣וֹב ṭō·wḇ good GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on behalf GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO
､
עֹמֵד֙ ‘ō·mêḏ is standing GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ at the house GRAM DICO
הָמָ֔ן hā·mān, of Haman GRAM DICO

גָּבֹ֖הַּ gā·ḇō·ah High GRAM DICO
､
חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים ḥă·miš·šîm fifty GRAM DICO
אַמָּ֑ה ’am·māh; cubits GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
תְּלֻ֥הוּ tə·lu·hū Hang him GRAM DICO
עָלָֽיו׃ ‘ā·lāw. on it GRAM DICO

וַיִּתְלוּ֙ way·yiṯ·lū So they hanged GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָמָ֔ן hā·mān, Haman GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הָעֵ֖ץ hā·‘êṣ the gallows GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
הֵכִ֣ין hê·ḵîn he had prepared GRAM DICO
לְמָרְדֳּכָ֑י lə·mā·rə·do·ḵāy; for Mordecai GRAM DICO

וַחֲמַ֥ת wa·ḥă·maṯ And wrath GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ of the king GRAM DICO
שָׁכָֽכָה׃ šā·ḵā·ḵāh. subsided GRAM DICO

לְאֶסְתֵּ֣ר lə·’es·têr Esther GRAM DICO
הַמַּלְכָּ֔ה ham·mal·kāh, Queen GRAM DICO

בֵּ֥ית bêṯ The house GRAM DICO
הָמָ֖ן hā·mān of Haman GRAM DICO
צֹרֵ֣ר ṣō·rêr the enemy GRAM DICO
[היהודיים] hay·yə·hū·ḏî·yîm of the Jews GRAM
(הַיְּהוּדִ֑ים) hay·yə·hū·ḏîm; the Jews GRAM DICO
וּמָרְדֳּכַ֗י ū·mā·rə·do·ḵay, and Mordecai GRAM DICO
בָּ֚א bā came GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the King GRAM DICO
–
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
הִגִּ֥ידָה hig·gî·ḏāh had told GRAM DICO
אֶסְתֵּ֖ר ’es·têr Esther GRAM DICO
מַ֥ה mah what GRAM DICO
הוּא־ hū- he [was] GRAM DICO
לָֽהּ׃ lāh. to her GRAM

וַיָּ֨סַר way·yā·sar So took off GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
טַבַּעְתּ֗וֹ ṭab·ba‘·tōw, his signet ring GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
הֶֽעֱבִיר֙ he·‘ĕ·ḇîr he had taken GRAM DICO
מֵֽהָמָ֔ן mê·hā·mān, from Haman GRAM DICO
וַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּ way·yit·tə·nāh and gave it GRAM DICO
לְמָרְדֳּכָ֑י lə·mā·rə·do·ḵāy; to Mordecai GRAM DICO

וַתָּ֧שֶׂם wat·tā·śem And appointed GRAM DICO
אֶסְתֵּ֛ר ’es·têr Esther GRAM DICO
אֶֽת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מָרְדֳּכַ֖י mā·rə·do·ḵay Mordecai GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
הָמָֽן׃ hā·mān. of Haman GRAM DICO

וַתּ֣וֹסֶף wat·tō·w·sep̄ And again GRAM DICO
אֶסְתֵּ֗ר ’es·têr, Esther GRAM DICO
וַתְּדַבֵּר֙ wat·tə·ḏab·bêr and spoke GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê to GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
וַתִּפֹּ֖ל wat·tip·pōl and fell down GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê at GRAM DICO
רַגְלָ֑יו raḡ·lāw; his feet GRAM DICO
､
וַתֵּ֣בְךְּ wat·tê·ḇək and with tears GRAM DICO
וַתִּתְחַנֶּן־ wat·tiṯ·ḥan·nen- and implored GRAM DICO
ל֗וֹ lōw, him GRAM
לְהַֽעֲבִיר֙ lə·ha·‘ă·ḇîr to counteract GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
רָעַת֙ rā·‘aṯ the evil GRAM DICO
הָמָ֣ן hā·mān of Haman GRAM DICO
הָֽאֲגָגִ֔י hā·’ă·ḡā·ḡî, the Agagite GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵת֙ wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
מַֽחֲשַׁבְתּ֔וֹ ma·ḥă·šaḇ·tōw, the scheme GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
חָשַׁ֖ב ḥā·šaḇ he had devised GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO
הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ hay·yə·hū·ḏîm. the Jews GRAM DICO
