וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֣הוּ way·yiq·bə·ru·hū And they buried him GRAM DICO
בְקִבְרֹתָ֗יו ḇə·qiḇ·rō·ṯāw, in his own tomb GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
כָּֽרָה־ kā·rāh- he had made GRAM DICO
לוֹ֮ lōw for himself GRAM
בְּעִ֣יר bə·‘îr in the City GRAM DICO
דָּוִיד֒ dā·wîḏ of David GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּשְׁכִּיבֻ֗הוּ way·yaš·kî·ḇu·hū, and they laid him GRAM DICO
בַּמִּשְׁכָּב֙ bam·miš·kāḇ in the bed GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
מִלֵּא֙ mil·lê was filled GRAM DICO
בְּשָׂמִ֣ים bə·śā·mîm with spices GRAM DICO
וּזְנִ֔ים ū·zə·nîm, and various ingredients GRAM DICO
מְרֻקָּחִ֖ים mə·ruq·qā·ḥîm prepared GRAM DICO
בְּמִרְקַ֣חַת bə·mir·qa·ḥaṯ in ointments GRAM DICO
מַעֲשֶׂ֑ה ma·‘ă·śeh; a mixture GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׂרְפוּ־ way·yiś·rə·p̄ū- and they made GRAM DICO
ל֥וֹ lōw for him GRAM
שְׂרֵפָ֖ה śə·rê·p̄āh a burning GRAM DICO
גְּדוֹלָ֥ה gə·ḏō·w·lāh great GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- even to GRAM DICO
לִמְאֹֽד׃ lim·’ōḏ. very GRAM DICO

וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֖ק way·yiṯ·ḥaz·zêq and strengthened himself GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO

יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO

הַבְּצֻר֑וֹת hab·bə·ṣu·rō·wṯ; the fortified GRAM DICO
וַיִּתֵּ֤ן way·yit·tên and set GRAM DICO
נְצִיבִים֙ nə·ṣî·ḇîm garrisons GRAM DICO
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ bə·’e·reṣ in the land GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֔ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
､
וּבְעָרֵ֣י ū·ḇə·‘ā·rê and in the cities GRAM DICO
אֶפְרַ֔יִם ’ep̄·ra·yim, of Ephraim GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
לָכַ֖ד lā·ḵaḏ had taken GRAM DICO
אָסָ֥א ’ā·sā Asa GRAM DICO
אָבִֽיו׃ ’ā·ḇîw. his father GRAM DICO

הָלַ֗ךְ hā·laḵ, he walked GRAM DICO
בְּדַרְכֵ֞י bə·ḏar·ḵê in ways GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֤יד dā·wîḏ of David GRAM DICO
､
אָבִיו֙ ’ā·ḇîw his father GRAM DICO
הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים hā·ri·šō·nîm, the former GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO
דָרַ֖שׁ ḏā·raš he did seek GRAM DICO
לַבְּעָלִֽים׃ lab·bə·‘ā·lîm. the Baals GRAM DICO

וּבְמִצְוֺתָ֖יו ū·ḇə·miṣ·wō·ṯāw and in His commandments GRAM DICO
､
הָלָ֑ךְ hā·lāḵ; walked GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֖א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO
כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה kə·ma·‘ă·śêh according to the acts GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. of Israel GRAM DICO

הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ ham·mam·lā·ḵāh the kingdom GRAM DICO
בְּיָד֔וֹ bə·yā·ḏōw, in his hand GRAM DICO

וַיִּתְּנ֧וּ way·yit·tə·nū and gave GRAM DICO
כָל־ ḵāl all GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֛ה yə·hū·ḏāh Judah GRAM DICO
מִנְחָ֖ה min·ḥāh presents GRAM DICO
–
לִיהוֹשָׁפָ֑ט lî·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ; to Jehoshaphat GRAM DICO
וַֽיְהִי־ way·hî- and had GRAM DICO
ל֥וֹ lōw he GRAM
עֹֽשֶׁר־ ‘ō·šer- riches GRAM DICO
וְכָב֖וֹד wə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ and honor GRAM DICO
לָרֹֽב׃ lā·rōḇ. in abundance GRAM DICO

לִבּ֖וֹ lib·bōw his heart GRAM DICO
בְּדַרְכֵ֣י bə·ḏar·ḵê in the ways GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וְע֗וֹד wə·‘ō·wḏ, and moreover GRAM DICO
הֵסִ֛יר hê·sîr he removed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַבָּמ֥וֹת hab·bā·mō·wṯ the high places GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הָאֲשֵׁרִ֖ים hā·’ă·šê·rîm wooden images GRAM DICO

חַ֙יִל֙ ḥa·yil Ben-hail GRAM DICO

､
וְלִזְכַרְיָ֔ה wə·liz·ḵar·yāh, and Zechariah GRAM DICO
､
וְלִנְתַנְאֵ֖ל wə·lin·ṯan·’êl and Nethanel GRAM DICO
､
וּלְמִיכָיָ֑הוּ ū·lə·mî·ḵā·yā·hū; and Michaiah GRAM DICO
､
לְלַמֵּ֖ד lə·lam·mêḏ to teach GRAM DICO
בְּעָרֵ֥י bə·‘ā·rê in the cities GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָֽה׃ yə·hū·ḏāh. of Judah GRAM DICO

שְֽׁמַֽעְיָ֡הוּ šə·ma‘·yā·hū Shemaiah GRAM DICO
､
וּנְתַנְיָ֡הוּ ū·nə·ṯan·yā·hū and Nethaniah GRAM DICO
､
וּזְבַדְיָ֡הוּ ū·zə·ḇaḏ·yā·hū and Zebadiah GRAM DICO
､
וַעֲשָׂהאֵ֡ל wa·‘ă·śā·h·’êl and Asahel GRAM DICO
､
[ושמרימות] ū·šə·mi·rî·mō·wṯ Shemiramoth GRAM
(וּשְׁמִֽירָמ֡וֹת) ū·šə·mî·rā·mō·wṯ Shemiramoth GRAM DICO
､
וִֽיהוֹנָתָן֩ wî·hō·w·nā·ṯān Jonathan GRAM DICO
､
וַאֲדֹ֨נִיָּ֧הוּ wa·’ă·ḏō·nî·yā·hū and Adonijah GRAM DICO
､
וְטֽוֹבִיָּ֛הוּ wə·ṭō·w·ḇî·yā·hū and Tobijah GRAM DICO
､
וְט֥וֹב wə·ṭō·wḇ and
אֲדוֹנִיָּ֖ה ’ă·ḏō·w·nî·yāh Tobadonijah GRAM DICO
､
הַלְוִיִּ֑ם hal·wî·yim; the Levites GRAM DICO
–
וְעִמָּהֶ֛ם wə·‘im·mā·hem and with them GRAM DICO
אֱלִישָׁמָ֥ע ’ĕ·lî·šā·mā‘ Elishama GRAM DICO
וִֽיהוֹרָ֖ם wî·hō·w·rām and Jehoram GRAM DICO

הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ hak·kō·hă·nîm. the priests GRAM DICO
