II Chroniques 18, 20

וַיֵּצֵ֣א way·yê·ṣê And came forward GRAM DICO

הָר֗וּחַ hā·rū·aḥ, a spirit GRAM DICO

､

וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ and stood GRAM DICO

לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO

､

אֲנִ֣י ’ă·nî I GRAM DICO

אֲפַתֶּ֑נּוּ ’ă·p̄at·ten·nū; will persuade him GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֵלָ֖יו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO

בַּמָּֽה׃ bam·māh. in what [way] GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, so he said GRAM DICO

אֵצֵא֙ ’ê·ṣê I will go out GRAM DICO

､

וְהָיִ֙יתִי֙ wə·hā·yî·ṯî and be GRAM DICO

לְר֣וּחַ lə·rū·aḥ a spirit GRAM DICO

שֶׁ֔קֶר še·qer, lying GRAM DICO

בְּפִ֖י bə·p̄î in the mouth GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- of all GRAM DICO

נְבִיאָ֑יו nə·ḇî·’āw; his prophets GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, And [Yahweh] said GRAM DICO

､

תְּפַתֶּה֙ tə·p̄at·teh You shall persuade [him] GRAM DICO

וְגַם־ wə·ḡam- and also GRAM DICO

תּוּכָ֔ל tū·ḵāl, prevail GRAM DICO

–

צֵ֖א ṣê go out GRAM DICO

､

וַעֲשֵׂה־ wa·‘ă·śêh- and do GRAM DICO

כֵֽן׃ ḵên. so GRAM DICO

וְעַתָּ֗ה wə·‘at·tāh, Therefore GRAM DICO

הִנֵּ֨ה hin·nêh look GRAM DICO

､

נָתַ֤ן nā·ṯan has put GRAM DICO

שֶׁ֔קֶר še·qer, a lying GRAM DICO

בְּפִ֖י bə·p̄î in the mouth GRAM DICO

נְבִיאֶ֣יךָ nə·ḇî·’e·ḵā of prophets of yours GRAM DICO

､

אֵ֑לֶּה ’êl·leh; these GRAM DICO

וַֽיהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, and Yahweh GRAM DICO

דִּבֶּ֥ר dib·ber has declared GRAM DICO

עָלֶ֖יךָ ‘ā·le·ḵā against you GRAM DICO

רָעָֽה׃ rā·‘āh. disaster GRAM DICO

צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū Zedekiah GRAM DICO

כְּנַעֲנָ֔ה kə·na·‘ă·nāh, of Chenaanah GRAM DICO

וַיַּ֥ךְ way·yaḵ and struck GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

מִיכָ֖יְהוּ mî·ḵā·yə·hū Micaiah GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO

הַלֶּ֑חִי hal·le·ḥî; the cheek GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, and said GRAM DICO

､

אֵ֣י ’ê that GRAM DICO

זֶ֤ה zeh which GRAM DICO

הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ had·de·reḵ way GRAM DICO

עָבַ֧ר ‘ā·ḇar did go GRAM DICO

רֽוּחַ־ rū·aḥ- the spirit from GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

מֵאִתִּ֖י mê·’it·tî from me GRAM DICO

לְדַבֵּ֥ר lə·ḏab·bêr to speak GRAM DICO

אֹתָֽךְ׃ ’ō·ṯāḵ. to you GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO

､

מִיכָ֔יְהוּ mî·ḵā·yə·hū, Micaiah GRAM DICO

הִנְּךָ֥ hin·nə·ḵā indeed GRAM DICO

רֹאֶ֖ה rō·’eh you shall see GRAM DICO

בַּיּ֣וֹם bay·yō·wm on day GRAM DICO

הַה֑וּא ha·hū; that GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer when GRAM DICO

תָּב֛וֹא tā·ḇō·w you go GRAM DICO

חֶ֥דֶר ḥe·ḏer into an inner GRAM DICO

בְּחֶ֖דֶר bə·ḥe·ḏer into an inner chamber GRAM DICO

לְהֵחָבֵֽא׃ lə·hê·ḥā·ḇê. to hide GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO

､

מֶ֣לֶךְ me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO

קְחוּ֙ qə·ḥū take GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

מִיכָ֔יְהוּ mî·ḵā·yə·hū, Micaiah GRAM DICO

､

וַהֲשִׁיבֻ֖הוּ wa·hă·šî·ḇu·hū and return him GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

אָמ֣וֹן ’ā·mō·wn Amon GRAM DICO

שַׂר־ śar- the governor GRAM DICO

הָעִ֑יר hā·‘îr; of the city GRAM DICO

､

וְאֶל־ wə·’el- and to GRAM DICO

יוֹאָ֖שׁ yō·w·’āš Joash GRAM DICO

בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO

הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ ham·me·leḵ. of the king GRAM DICO

וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֗ם wa·’ă·mar·tem, And say GRAM DICO

כֹּ֚ה kōh thus GRAM DICO

אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO

､

שִׂ֥ימוּ śî·mū Put GRAM DICO

זֶ֖ה zeh this [fellow] GRAM DICO

בֵּ֣ית bêṯ in the prison GRAM DICO

הַכֶּ֑לֶא hak·ke·le; in prison GRAM DICO

､

וְהַאֲכִלֻ֜הוּ wə·ha·’ă·ḵi·lu·hū and feed him GRAM DICO

לֶ֤חֶם le·ḥem with bread GRAM DICO

לַ֙חַץ֙ la·ḥaṣ of affliction GRAM DICO

וּמַ֣יִם ū·ma·yim and water GRAM DICO

לַ֔חַץ la·ḥaṣ, of affliction GRAM DICO

､

עַ֖ד ‘aḏ until GRAM DICO

שׁוּבִ֥י šū·ḇî I return GRAM DICO

בְשָׁלֽוֹם׃ ḇə·šā·lō·wm. in peace GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO

מִיכָ֔יְהוּ mî·ḵā·yə·hū, Micaiah GRAM DICO

אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO

שׁ֤וֹב šō·wḇ ever GRAM DICO

תָּשׁוּב֙ tā·šūḇ you return GRAM DICO

בְּשָׁל֔וֹם bə·šā·lō·wm, in peace GRAM DICO

､

לֹא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

דִבֶּ֥ר ḏib·ber has spoken GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

בִּ֑י bî; by me GRAM

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO

､

שִׁמְע֖וּ šim·‘ū take heed you GRAM DICO

､

עַמִּ֥ים ‘am·mîm people GRAM DICO

כֻּלָּֽם׃ kul·lām. all GRAM DICO
