II Chroniques 24, 15
וַיִּזְקַ֧ן way·yiz·qan But grew old GRAM DICO
､
יְהוֹיָדָ֛ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׂבַּ֥ע way·yiś·ba‘ and was full GRAM DICO
יָמִ֖ים yā·mîm of days GRAM DICO
וַיָּמֹ֑ת way·yā·mōṯ; and he died GRAM DICO
–
בֶּן־ ben- old GRAM DICO
מֵאָ֧ה mê·’āh a hundred GRAM DICO
וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֛ים ū·šə·lō·šîm and thirty GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֖ה šā·nāh [he was] years old GRAM DICO
בְּמוֹתֽוֹ׃ bə·mō·w·ṯōw. when he died GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֥הוּ way·yiq·bə·ru·hū And they buried him GRAM DICO
בְעִיר־ ḇə·‘îr- in the City GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֖יד dā·wîḏ of David GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- among GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָכִ֑ים ham·mə·lā·ḵîm; the kings GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֤ה ‘ā·śāh he had done GRAM DICO
טוֹבָה֙ ṭō·w·ḇāh good GRAM DICO
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל bə·yiś·rā·’êl, in Israel GRAM DICO
､
וְעִ֥ם wə·‘im and both toward GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO

וּבֵיתֽוֹ׃ ū·ḇê·ṯōw. and His house GRAM DICO

יְה֣וֹיָדָ֔ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘, of Jehoiada GRAM DICO
בָּ֚אוּ bā·’ū came GRAM DICO
שָׂרֵ֣י śā·rê the leaders GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֔ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּ way·yiš·ta·ḥă·wū and bowed down GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֑לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ; to the king GRAM DICO
.
אָ֛ז ’āz Then GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֥ע šā·ma‘ listened GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ’ă·lê·hem. to them GRAM DICO

וַיַּֽעַזְב֗וּ way·ya·‘az·ḇū, Therefore they left GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֵּ֤ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֔ם ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem, of their fathers GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּֽעַבְד֥וּ way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏū and served GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָאֲשֵׁרִ֖ים hā·’ă·šê·rîm wooden images GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הָֽעֲצַבִּ֑ים hā·‘ă·ṣab·bîm; idols GRAM DICO
–
וַֽיְהִי־ way·hî- and came GRAM DICO
קֶ֗צֶף qe·ṣep̄, wrath GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָה֙ yə·hū·ḏāh Judah GRAM DICO
וִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם wî·rū·šā·lim, and Jerusalem GRAM DICO
בְּאַשְׁמָתָ֖ם bə·’aš·mā·ṯām because of their trespass GRAM DICO
זֹֽאת׃ zōṯ. this GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח way·yiš·laḥ And yet He sent GRAM DICO
בָּהֶם֙ bā·hem to them GRAM
נְבִאִ֔ים nə·ḇi·’îm, prophets GRAM DICO
לַהֲשִׁיבָ֖ם la·hă·šî·ḇām to bring them back GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וַיָּעִ֥ידוּ way·yā·‘î·ḏū and they testified GRAM DICO
בָ֖ם ḇām against them GRAM
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō but not GRAM DICO
הֶאֱזִֽינוּ׃ he·’ĕ·zî·nū. they would listen GRAM DICO

וְר֣וּחַ wə·rū·aḥ And the Spirit GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִ֗ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm, of God GRAM DICO
לָֽבְשָׁה֙ lā·ḇə·šāh came upon GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
זְכַרְיָה֙ zə·ḵar·yāh Zechariah GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
יְהוֹיָדָ֣ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ of Jehoiada GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵ֔ן hak·kō·hên, the priest GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ and who stood GRAM DICO
מֵעַ֣ל mê·‘al upon GRAM DICO
לָעָ֑ם lā·‘ām; above the people GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֜ם lā·hem to them GRAM
כֹּ֣ה ׀ kōh thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm, God GRAM DICO
､
לָמָה֩ lā·māh why GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֨ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO
עֹבְרִ֜ים ‘ō·ḇə·rîm do transgress GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מִצְוֺ֤ת miṣ·wōṯ the commandments GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֣א wə·lō so that cannot GRAM DICO
תַצְלִ֔יחוּ ṯaṣ·lî·ḥū, you prosper GRAM DICO
؟
כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO
עֲזַבְתֶּ֥ם ‘ă·zaḇ·tem you have forsaken GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּֽעֲזֹ֥ב way·ya·‘ă·zōḇ and He has forsaken GRAM DICO
אֶתְכֶֽם׃ ’eṯ·ḵem. you GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְשְׁר֣וּ way·yiq·šə·rū So they conspired GRAM DICO
עָלָ֔יו ‘ā·lāw, against him GRAM DICO
וַיִּרְגְּמֻ֥הוּ way·yir·gə·mu·hū and they stoned him GRAM DICO
אֶ֖בֶן ’e·ḇen with stones GRAM DICO
בְּמִצְוַ֣ת bə·miṣ·waṯ at the command GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ; of the king GRAM DICO
בַּחֲצַ֖ר ba·ḥă·ṣar in the court GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ of the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְלֹא־ wə·lō- Thus not GRAM DICO
זָכַ֞ר zā·ḵar did remember GRAM DICO
יוֹאָ֣שׁ yō·w·’āš Joash GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
הַחֶ֙סֶד֙ ha·ḥe·seḏ the kindness GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֜ה ‘ā·śāh had done GRAM DICO
יְהוֹיָדָ֤ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO
אָבִיו֙ ’ā·ḇîw his father GRAM DICO
עִמּ֔וֹ ‘im·mōw, to him GRAM DICO
וַֽיַּהֲרֹ֖ג way·ya·hă·rōḡ but killed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בְּנ֑וֹ bə·nōw; his son GRAM DICO

וּכְמוֹת֣וֹ ū·ḵə·mō·w·ṯōw And as he died GRAM DICO
､
אָמַ֔ר ’ā·mar, he said GRAM DICO
､
יֵ֥רֶא yê·re look on [it] GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
וְיִדְרֹֽשׁ׃ wə·yiḏ·rōš. and repay GRAM DICO
