וַיִּנָּ֥גֶף way·yin·nā·ḡep̄ And was defeated GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh Judah GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê by GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ way·yā·nu·sū and fled GRAM DICO
אִ֥ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO

､
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- the king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ at GRAM
שָׁ֑מֶשׁ šā·meš; Beth Shemesh GRAM DICO
､
וַיְבִיאֵ֙הוּ֙ way·ḇî·’ê·hū and he brought him GRAM DICO
יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם yə·rū·šā·lim, to Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּפְרֹ֞ץ way·yip̄·rōṣ and broke down GRAM DICO
בְּחוֹמַ֣ת bə·ḥō·w·maṯ the wall of GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם yə·rū·šā·lim, Jerusalem GRAM DICO
מִשַּׁ֤עַר miš·ša·‘ar from the Gate GRAM DICO
אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ ’ep̄·ra·yim of Ephraim GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
שַׁ֣עַר ša·‘ar Gate GRAM DICO
､
הַפּוֹנֶ֔ה hap·pō·w·neh, the Corner GRAM DICO
אַרְבַּ֥ע ’ar·ba‘ four GRAM DICO
מֵא֖וֹת mê·’ō·wṯ hundred GRAM DICO
אַמָּֽה׃ ’am·māh. cubits GRAM DICO

אֹצְרוֹת֙ ’ō·ṣə·rō·wṯ the treasures GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ of house GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO
וְאֵ֖ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO
הַתַּֽעֲרֻב֑וֹת hat·ta·‘ă·ru·ḇō·wṯ; hostages GRAM DICO
וַיָּ֖שָׁב way·yā·šāḇ and returned GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ šō·mə·rō·wn. to Samaria GRAM DICO

אֲמַצְיָ֔הוּ ’ă·maṣ·yā·hū, of Amaziah GRAM DICO
､
הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים hā·ri·šō·nîm from first GRAM DICO
וְהָאַחֲרוֹנִ֑ים wə·hā·’a·ḥă·rō·w·nîm; and to last GRAM DICO
､
הֲלֹא֙ hă·lō [are] not GRAM DICO
הִנָּ֣ם hin·nām indeed GRAM DICO
כְּתוּבִ֔ים kə·ṯū·ḇîm, they written GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- in GRAM DICO
סֵ֥פֶר sê·p̄er the book GRAM DICO
מַלְכֵי־ mal·ḵê- of the kings GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO
וְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ wə·yiś·rā·’êl. and Israel GRAM DICO

וּמֵעֵ֗ת ū·mê·‘êṯ, and after the time GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
סָ֤ר sār turned away GRAM DICO
אֲמַצְיָ֙הוּ֙ ’ă·maṣ·yā·hū Amaziah GRAM DICO
מֵאַחֲרֵ֣י mê·’a·ḥă·rê from following GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
וַיִּקְשְׁר֨וּ way·yiq·šə·rū and they made GRAM DICO
עָלָ֥יו ‘ā·lāw against him GRAM DICO
קֶ֛שֶׁר qe·šer a conspiracy GRAM DICO
בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם bî·rū·šā·lim in Jerusalem GRAM DICO
–
וַיָּ֣נָס way·yā·nās and he fled GRAM DICO
לָכִ֑ישָׁה lā·ḵî·šāh; to Lachish GRAM DICO
–
וַיִּשְׁלְח֤וּ way·yiš·lə·ḥū but they sent GRAM DICO
אַחֲרָיו֙ ’a·ḥă·rāw after him GRAM DICO
לָכִ֔ישָׁה lā·ḵî·šāh, to Lachish GRAM DICO
וַיְמִיתֻ֖הוּ way·mî·ṯu·hū and killed him GRAM DICO
שָֽׁם׃ šām. there GRAM DICO

וַיִּשָּׂאֻ֖הוּ way·yiś·śā·’u·hū And they brought him GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הַסּוּסִ֑ים has·sū·sîm; horses GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיִּקְבְּר֥וּ way·yiq·bə·rū and buried GRAM DICO
אֹת֛וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתָ֖יו ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw his fathers GRAM DICO
בְּעִ֥יר bə·‘îr in the City GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָֽה׃ yə·hū·ḏāh. of Judah GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֻזִּיָּ֔הוּ ‘uz·zî·yā·hū, Uzziah GRAM DICO
､
וְה֕וּא wə·hū and he [was] GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- old GRAM DICO
､
שֵׁ֥שׁ šêš six GRAM DICO
עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה ‘eś·rêh [and] ten GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֑ה šā·nāh; years GRAM DICO
וַיַּמְלִ֣יכוּ way·yam·lî·ḵū and they made him king GRAM DICO
אֹת֔וֹ ’ō·ṯōw,  -  GRAM DICO
תַּ֖חַת ta·ḥaṯ instead GRAM DICO
אָבִ֥יו ’ā·ḇîw of his father GRAM DICO
אֲמַצְיָֽהוּ׃ ’ă·maṣ·yā·hū. Amaziah GRAM DICO
