ה֚וּא hū He GRAM DICO
בָּנָ֣ה bā·nāh built GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
אֵיל֔וֹת ’ê·lō·wṯ, Elath GRAM DICO
､
וַיְשִׁיבֶ֖הָ way·šî·ḇe·hā and restored it GRAM DICO
לִֽיהוּדָ֑ה lî·hū·ḏāh; to Judah GRAM DICO
､
אַחֲרֵ֥י ’a·ḥă·rê after GRAM DICO
שְׁכַֽב־ šə·ḵaḇ- rested GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO

עֻזִּיָּ֣הוּ ‘uz·zî·yā·hū [was] Uzziah GRAM DICO
בְמָלְכ֔וֹ ḇə·mā·lə·ḵōw, when he became king GRAM DICO
､
וַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים wa·ḥă·miš·šîm and fifty GRAM DICO
וּשְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ ū·šə·ta·yim and two GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֔ה šā·nāh, years GRAM DICO
מָלַ֖ךְ mā·laḵ he reigned GRAM DICO
בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם bî·rū·šā·lim; in Jerusalem GRAM DICO

וְשֵׁ֣ם wə·šêm And name GRAM DICO
אִמּ֔וֹ ’im·mōw, of His mother GRAM DICO
[יכיליה] yə·ḵî·lə·yāh  -  GRAM
(יְכָלְיָ֖ה) yə·ḵā·lə·yāh was Jecholiah GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- of GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ yə·rū·šā·lim. Jerusalem GRAM DICO

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ way·ya·‘aś And he did [what was] GRAM DICO
הַיָּשָׁ֖ר hay·yā·šār right GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֵ֣י bə·‘ê·nê in the sight GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
כְּכֹ֥ל kə·ḵōl according to all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֖ה ‘ā·śāh had done GRAM DICO
אֲמַצְיָ֥הוּ ’ă·maṣ·yā·hū Amaziah GRAM DICO

לִדְרֹ֣שׁ liḏ·rōš sought GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִ֔ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm, God GRAM DICO
בִּימֵ֣י bî·mê in the days GRAM DICO
זְכַרְיָ֔הוּ zə·ḵar·yā·hū, of Zechariah GRAM DICO
､
הַמֵּבִ֖ין ham·mê·ḇîn who had understanding GRAM DICO
בִּרְאֹ֣ת bir·’ōṯ in the visions GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm; of God GRAM DICO

וּבִימֵי֙ ū·ḇî·mê and as long as GRAM DICO
דָּרְשׁ֣וֹ dā·rə·šōw he sought GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
הִצְלִיח֖וֹ hiṣ·lî·ḥōw made him prosper GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm. God GRAM DICO

וַיֵּצֵא֙ way·yê·ṣê And he went out GRAM DICO
וַיִּלָּ֣חֶם way·yil·lā·ḥem and made war GRAM DICO
בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים bap·pə·liš·tîm, against the Philistines GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּפְרֹ֞ץ way·yip̄·rōṣ and broke down GRAM DICO

ח֣וֹמַת ḥō·w·maṯ the wall GRAM DICO
גַּ֗ת gaṯ, of Gath GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵת֙ wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
חוֹמַ֣ת ḥō·w·maṯ the wall GRAM DICO
יַבְנֵ֔ה yaḇ·nêh, of Jabneh GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֖ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
חוֹמַ֣ת ḥō·w·maṯ the wall GRAM DICO
אַשְׁדּ֑וֹד ’aš·dō·wḏ; of Ashdod GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּבְנֶ֣ה way·yiḇ·neh and he built GRAM DICO
עָרִ֔ים ‘ā·rîm, cities GRAM DICO
בְּאַשְׁדּ֖וֹד bə·’aš·dō·wḏ [around] Ashdod GRAM DICO
､
וּבַפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ ū·ḇap·pə·liš·tîm. and among the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיַּעְזְרֵ֨הוּ way·ya‘·zə·rê·hū And helped him GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִ֜ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO
פְּלִשְׁתִּ֧ים pə·liš·tîm the Philistines GRAM DICO
､

[הערביים] hā·‘ar·ḇî·yîm Arabs GRAM

הָֽעַמּוֹנִ֛ים hā·‘am·mō·w·nîm the Ammonites GRAM DICO
מִנְחָ֖ה min·ḥāh tribute GRAM DICO
לְעֻזִּיָּ֑הוּ lə·‘uz·zî·yā·hū; to Uzziah GRAM DICO
､
וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ way·yê·leḵ and spread GRAM DICO
שְׁמוֹ֙ šə·mōw His fame GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- as far GRAM DICO
לְב֣וֹא lə·ḇō·w as the entrance GRAM DICO
מִצְרַ֔יִם miṣ·ra·yim, of Egypt GRAM DICO
–
כִּ֥י kî for GRAM DICO
הֶחֱזִ֖יק he·ḥĕ·zîq he became strong GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- even to GRAM DICO
לְמָֽעְלָה׃ lə·mā·‘ə·lāh. greatly GRAM DICO

וַיִּ֨בֶן way·yi·ḇen And built GRAM DICO
עֻזִּיָּ֤הוּ ‘uz·zî·yā·hū Uzziah GRAM DICO
מִגְדָּלִים֙ miḡ·dā·lîm towers GRAM DICO
בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם bî·rū·šā·lim, in Jerusalem GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- at GRAM DICO
שַׁ֧עַר ša·‘ar Gate GRAM DICO
､
הַפִּנָּ֛ה hap·pin·nāh the Corner GRAM DICO
וְעַל־ wə·‘al- and at GRAM DICO
שַׁ֥עַר ša·‘ar Gate GRAM DICO
､
הַגַּ֖יְא hag·gay the Valley GRAM DICO
וְעַל־ wə·‘al- and at GRAM DICO
הַמִּקְצ֑וֹעַ ham·miq·ṣō·w·a‘; the corner buttress of the wall GRAM DICO
וַֽיְחַזְּקֵֽם׃ way·ḥaz·zə·qêm. then he fortified them GRAM DICO

וַיִּ֨בֶן way·yi·ḇen And he built GRAM DICO
מִגְדָּלִ֜ים miḡ·dā·lîm towers GRAM DICO
בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר bam·miḏ·bār, in the desert GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּחְצֹב֙ way·yaḥ·ṣōḇ and He dug GRAM DICO
בֹּר֣וֹת bō·rō·wṯ wells GRAM DICO
､
רַבִּ֔ים rab·bîm, many GRAM DICO
כִּ֤י kî for GRAM DICO
מִקְנֶה־ miq·neh- livestock GRAM DICO
､
רַּב֙ raḇ much GRAM DICO
הָ֣יָה hā·yāh had GRAM DICO
ל֔וֹ lōw, he GRAM
וּבַשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה ū·ḇaš·šə·p̄ê·lāh and both in the lowlands GRAM DICO
､
וּבַמִּישׁ֑וֹר ū·ḇam·mî·šō·wr; and in the plains GRAM DICO
.
אִכָּרִ֣ים ’ik·kā·rîm [he also had] plowmen GRAM DICO
וְכֹֽרְמִ֗ים wə·ḵō·rə·mîm, and vinedressers GRAM DICO
בֶּהָרִים֙ be·hā·rîm in the mountains GRAM DICO
､
וּבַכַּרְמֶ֔ל ū·ḇak·kar·mel, and in Carmel GRAM DICO
–
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
אֹהֵ֥ב ’ō·hêḇ loved GRAM DICO
אֲדָמָ֖ה ’ă·ḏā·māh the soil GRAM DICO
הָיָֽה׃ hā·yāh. he GRAM DICO
