וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר way·ḏab·bêr And he said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֔ם ’ă·lê·hem, to them GRAM DICO
מֶ֚ה meh what GRAM DICO
מִשְׁפַּ֣ט miš·paṭ kind GRAM DICO
הָאִ֔ישׁ hā·’îš, of man [was it] GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer who GRAM DICO
עָלָ֖ה ‘ā·lāh came up GRAM DICO
לִקְרַאתְכֶ֑ם liq·raṯ·ḵem; to meet you GRAM DICO
וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר way·ḏab·bêr and told GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם ’ă·lê·ḵem, you GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַדְּבָרִ֖ים had·də·ḇā·rîm words GRAM DICO
הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ hā·’êl·leh. these GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ way·yō·mə·rū so they answered GRAM DICO
､
אֵלָ֗יו ’ê·lāw, him GRAM DICO
אִ֚ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO
､
בַּ֣עַל ba·‘al owner GRAM DICO
שֵׂעָ֔ר śê·‘ār, hairy GRAM DICO
וְאֵז֥וֹר wə·’ê·zō·wr and a belt GRAM DICO
ע֖וֹר ‘ō·wr leather GRAM DICO
אָז֣וּר ’ā·zūr wearing GRAM DICO
בְּמָתְנָ֑יו bə·mā·ṯə·nāw; around his waist GRAM DICO
.
וַיֹּאמַ֕ר way·yō·mar And he said GRAM DICO
אֵלִיָּ֥ה ’ê·lî·yāh Elijah GRAM DICO
הַתִּשְׁבִּ֖י hat·tiš·bî the Tishbite GRAM DICO
הֽוּא׃ hū. it [is] GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח way·yiš·laḥ And the king sent GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֛יו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
שַׂר־ śar- a captain GRAM DICO
חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים ḥă·miš·šîm of fifty GRAM DICO
וַחֲמִשָּׁ֑יו wa·ḥă·miš·šāw; and [with his] fifty [men] GRAM DICO
.
וַיַּ֣עַל way·ya·‘al So he went up GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֗יו ’ê·lāw, to him GRAM DICO
וְהִנֵּה֙ wə·hin·nêh and there GRAM DICO
､
יֹשֵׁב֙ yō·šêḇ he was sitting GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
רֹ֣אשׁ rōš the top GRAM DICO
הָהָ֔ר hā·hār, of a hill GRAM DICO

וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר way·ḏab·bêr And he spoke GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֔יו ’ê·lāw, to him GRAM DICO
אִ֚ישׁ ’îš Man GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm, of God GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
דִּבֶּ֖ר dib·ber has said GRAM DICO
､
רֵֽדָה׃ rê·ḏāh. come down GRAM DICO

וַיַּעֲנֶ֣ה way·ya·‘ă·neh So answered GRAM DICO
אֵלִיָּ֗הוּ ’ê·lî·yā·hū, Elijah GRAM DICO
וַיְדַבֵּר֮ way·ḏab·bêr and said GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
שַׂ֣ר śar the captain GRAM DICO
הַחֲמִשִּׁים֒ ha·ḥă·miš·šîm of fifty GRAM DICO
､
וְאִם־ wə·’im- and if GRAM DICO
אִ֤ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִים֙ ’ĕ·lō·hîm of God GRAM DICO
､
אָ֔נִי ’ā·nî, I [am] GRAM DICO
תֵּ֤רֶד tê·reḏ then let come down GRAM DICO
אֵשׁ֙ ’êš fire GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם haš·šā·ma·yim, heaven GRAM DICO
､
וְתֹאכַ֥ל wə·ṯō·ḵal and consume GRAM DICO
אֹתְךָ֖ ’ō·ṯə·ḵā you GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
חֲמִשֶּׁ֑יךָ ḥă·miš·še·ḵā; [your] fifty [men] GRAM DICO

וַתֵּ֤רֶד wat·tê·reḏ And came down GRAM DICO
אֵשׁ֙ ’êš fire GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם haš·šā·ma·yim, heaven GRAM DICO
､
וַתֹּ֥אכַל wat·tō·ḵal and consumed GRAM DICO
אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
חֲמִשָּֽׁיו׃ ḥă·miš·šāw. [his] fifty GRAM DICO

וַיָּ֜שָׁב way·yā·šāḇ And GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח way·yiš·laḥ and he sent GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֛יו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
שַׂר־ śar- captain GRAM DICO
חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים ḥă·miš·šîm of fifty GRAM DICO
אַחֵ֖ר ’a·ḥêr another GRAM DICO
וַחֲמִשָּׁ֑יו wa·ḥă·miš·šāw; and [with his] fifty [men] GRAM DICO

וַיַּ֙עַן֙ way·ya·‘an And he answered GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
מְהֵרָ֥ה mə·hê·rāh quickly GRAM DICO
רֵֽדָה׃ rê·ḏāh. come down GRAM DICO

אֵלִיָּה֮ ’ê·lî·yāh Elijah GRAM DICO

אֲלֵיהֶם֒ ’ă·lê·hem to them GRAM DICO
אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
אִ֤ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm of God GRAM DICO
､
אָ֔נִי ’ā·nî, I [am] GRAM DICO
תֵּ֤רֶד tê·reḏ let come down GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהִים֙ ’ĕ·lō·hîm of God GRAM DICO

הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם haš·šā·ma·yim, heaven GRAM DICO
､
וַתֹּ֥אכַל wat·tō·ḵal and consumed GRAM DICO
אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
חֲמִשָּֽׁיו׃ ḥă·miš·šāw. [his] fifty GRAM DICO

וַיָּ֗שָׁב way·yā·šāḇ, And Again GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׁלַ֛ח way·yiš·laḥ and he sent GRAM DICO
שַׂר־ śar- a captain GRAM DICO
חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים ḥă·miš·šîm of fifty GRAM DICO
שְׁלִשִׁ֖ים šə·li·šîm third GRAM DICO
וַחֲמִשָּׁ֑יו wa·ḥă·miš·šāw; and [with his] fifty [men] GRAM DICO
.
וַיַּ֡עַל way·ya·‘al And went up GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּבֹא֩ way·yā·ḇō and came GRAM DICO
שַׂר־ śar- the captain GRAM DICO
הַחֲמִשִּׁ֨ים ha·ḥă·miš·šîm of fifty GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֜י haš·šə·lî·šî third GRAM DICO
וַיִּכְרַ֥ע way·yiḵ·ra‘ and fell GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
בִּרְכָּ֣יו ׀ bir·kāw his knees GRAM DICO
לְנֶ֣גֶד lə·ne·ḡeḏ before GRAM DICO
אֵלִיָּ֗הוּ ’ê·lî·yā·hū, Elijah GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּתְחַנֵּ֤ן way·yiṯ·ḥan·nên and pleaded GRAM DICO
אֵלָיו֙ ’ê·lāw with him GRAM DICO
וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר way·ḏab·bêr and said GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֔יו ’ê·lāw, to him GRAM DICO
אִ֚ישׁ ’îš Man GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm, of God GRAM DICO
､
תִּֽיקַר־ tî·qar- let be precious GRAM DICO
נָ֣א nā please GRAM DICO
､
נַפְשִׁ֗י nap̄·šî, my life GRAM DICO
､
וְנֶ֨פֶשׁ wə·ne·p̄eš and the life GRAM DICO
עֲבָדֶ֥יךָֽ ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā of servants of yours GRAM DICO
､
אֵ֛לֶּה ’êl·leh these GRAM DICO
חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים ḥă·miš·šîm fifty GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā. in your sight GRAM DICO
