וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח way·yiš·laḥ So sent GRAM DICO
אַחְאָ֖ב ’aḥ·’āḇ Ahab GRAM DICO
בְּכָל־ bə·ḵāl for all GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּקְבֹּ֥ץ way·yiq·bōṣ and gathered together GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים han·nə·ḇî·’îm the prophets GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- on GRAM DICO
הַ֥ר har Mount GRAM DICO
הַכַּרְמֶֽל׃ hak·kar·mel. Carmel GRAM DICO

וַיִּגַּ֨שׁ way·yig·gaš And came GRAM DICO
אֵלִיָּ֜הוּ ’ê·lî·yā·hū Elijah GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָעָ֗ם hā·‘ām, the people GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
､
עַד־ ‘aḏ- until GRAM DICO
מָתַ֞י mā·ṯay when GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֣ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO
פֹּסְחִים֮ pō·sə·ḥîm will falter GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- between GRAM DICO
שְׁתֵּ֣י šə·tê two GRAM DICO
הַסְּעִפִּים֒ has·sə·‘ip·pîm opinions GRAM DICO
؟
אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֤ה Yah·weh Yahweh [is] GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO
､
לְכ֣וּ lə·ḵū follow GRAM DICO
אַחֲרָ֔יו ’a·ḥă·rāw, him GRAM DICO
וְאִם־ wə·’im- but if GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֖עַל hab·ba·‘al Baal GRAM DICO
､
לְכ֣וּ lə·ḵū follow GRAM DICO
אַחֲרָ֑יו ’a·ḥă·rāw; him GRAM DICO
וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- but not GRAM DICO
עָנ֥וּ ‘ā·nū answered GRAM DICO
הָעָ֛ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw Him GRAM DICO
דָּבָֽר׃ dā·ḇār. a word GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
אֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙ ’ê·lî·yā·hū Elijah GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הָעָ֔ם hā·‘ām, the people GRAM DICO
､
אֲנִ֞י ’ă·nî I GRAM DICO
､
נוֹתַ֧רְתִּי nō·w·ṯar·tî am left GRAM DICO
נָבִ֛יא nā·ḇî a prophet GRAM DICO
לַיהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
לְבַדִּ֑י lə·ḇad·dî; alone GRAM DICO
､
וּנְבִיאֵ֣י ū·nə·ḇî·’ê but prophets [are] GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֔עַל hab·ba·‘al, of Baal GRAM DICO
אַרְבַּע־ ’ar·ba‘- four GRAM DICO
מֵא֥וֹת mê·’ō·wṯ hundred GRAM DICO
וַחֲמִשִּׁ֖ים wa·ḥă·miš·šîm and fifty GRAM DICO
אִֽישׁ׃ ’îš. men GRAM DICO

וְיִתְּנוּ־ wə·yit·tə·nū- Therefore let them give GRAM DICO
לָ֜נוּ lā·nū us GRAM
שְׁנַ֣יִם šə·na·yim two GRAM DICO
פָּרִ֗ים pā·rîm, bulls GRAM DICO
–
וְיִבְחֲר֣וּ wə·yiḇ·ḥă·rū and let them choose GRAM DICO
לָהֶם֩ lā·hem for themselves GRAM DICO
הַפָּ֨ר hap·pār bull GRAM DICO
הָאֶחָ֜ד hā·’e·ḥāḏ one GRAM DICO
וִֽינַתְּחֻ֗הוּ wî·nat·tə·ḥu·hū, cut it in pieces GRAM DICO
､
וְיָשִׂ֙ימוּ֙ wə·yā·śî·mū and lay [it] GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הָ֣עֵצִ֔ים hā·‘ê·ṣîm, the wood GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֖שׁ wə·’êš but fire GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō no GRAM DICO
יָשִׂ֑ימוּ yā·śî·mū; put [under it] GRAM DICO
וַאֲנִ֞י wa·’ă·nî and I GRAM DICO
אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה ׀ ’e·‘ĕ·śeh will prepare GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַפָּ֣ר hap·pār bull GRAM DICO
､
הָאֶחָ֗ד hā·’e·ḥāḏ, one GRAM DICO
וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ wə·nā·ṯat·tî and lay [it] GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הָ֣עֵצִ֔ים hā·‘ê·ṣîm, the wood GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֖שׁ wə·’êš but fire GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō no GRAM DICO
אָשִֽׂים׃ ’ā·śîm. put [under it] GRAM DICO

וּקְרָאתֶ֞ם ū·qə·rā·ṯem And you call GRAM DICO
בְּשֵׁ֣ם bə·šêm on the name GRAM DICO
אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem, of your gods GRAM DICO
､
וַֽאֲנִי֙ wa·’ă·nî and I GRAM DICO
אֶקְרָ֣א ’eq·rā will call GRAM DICO
בְשֵׁם־ ḇə·šêm- on the name GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וְהָיָ֧ה wə·hā·yāh and GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm the God GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- who GRAM DICO
יַעֲנֶ֥ה ya·‘ă·neh answers GRAM DICO
בָאֵ֖שׁ ḇā·’êš by fire GRAM DICO
､
ה֣וּא hū He [is] GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm; God GRAM DICO
.
וַיַּ֧עַן way·ya·‘an So answered GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָעָ֛ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ way·yō·mə·rū and said GRAM DICO
､
ט֥וֹב ṭō·wḇ it is well GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָֽר׃ had·dā·ḇār. spoken GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
אֵלִיָּ֜הוּ ’ê·lî·yā·hū Elijah GRAM DICO
לִנְבִיאֵ֣י lin·ḇî·’ê to the prophets GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֗עַל hab·ba·‘al, of Baal GRAM DICO
､
בַּחֲר֨וּ ba·ḥă·rū Choose GRAM DICO
לָכֶ֜ם lā·ḵem for yourselves GRAM
הַפָּ֤ר hap·pār bull GRAM DICO
הָֽאֶחָד֙ hā·’e·ḥāḏ one GRAM DICO
וַעֲשׂ֣וּ wa·‘ă·śū and prepare [it] GRAM DICO
רִאשֹׁנָ֔ה ri·šō·nāh, first GRAM DICO
–
כִּ֥י kî for GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֖ם ’at·tem you [are] GRAM DICO
הָרַבִּ֑ים hā·rab·bîm; many GRAM DICO
–
וְקִרְאוּ֙ wə·qir·’ū and call GRAM DICO
בְּשֵׁ֣ם bə·šêm on the name GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem, of your god GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֖שׁ wə·’êš but fire GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō no GRAM DICO
תָשִֽׂימוּ׃ ṯā·śî·mū. put [under it] GRAM DICO
