וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֜יו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
זְבֻ֗ל zə·ḇul, Zebul GRAM DICO
אַיֵּ֨ה ’ay·yêh where now GRAM DICO
אֵפ֥וֹא ’ê·p̄ō·w indeed [is] GRAM DICO
פִ֙יךָ֙ p̄î·ḵā your mouth GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer with which GRAM DICO
תֹּאמַ֔ר tō·mar, you said GRAM DICO
､
מִ֥י mî who [is] GRAM DICO
אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ ’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ Abimelech GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֣י kî that GRAM DICO
נַעַבְדֶ֑נּוּ na·‘aḇ·ḏen·nū; we should serve him GRAM DICO
הֲלֹ֨א hă·lō [Is] not GRAM DICO
זֶ֤ה zeh this GRAM DICO
הָעָם֙ hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer whom GRAM DICO
מָאַ֣סְתָּה mā·’as·tāh you despised GRAM DICO
؟
בּ֔וֹ bōw, in GRAM
צֵא־ ṣê- go out GRAM DICO
､
נָ֥א nā if you will GRAM DICO
עַתָּ֖ה ‘at·tāh now GRAM DICO
､
וְהִלָּ֥חֶם wə·hil·lā·ḥem and fight GRAM DICO
בּֽוֹ׃ bōw. with them GRAM

גַ֔עַל ḡa·‘al, Gaal GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֖י lip̄·nê leading GRAM DICO
בַּעֲלֵ֣י ba·‘ă·lê the men GRAM DICO
שְׁכֶ֑ם šə·ḵem; of Shechem GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם way·yil·lā·ḥem and fought GRAM DICO
בַּאֲבִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ ba·’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ. with Abimelech GRAM DICO

Juges 9, 40
וַיִּרְדְּפֵ֣הוּ way·yir·də·p̄ê·hū And chased him GRAM DICO
אֲבִימֶ֔לֶךְ ’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ, Abimelech GRAM DICO
וַיָּ֖נָס way·yā·nās and he fled GRAM DICO
מִפָּנָ֑יו mip·pā·nāw; from him GRAM DICO
וַֽיִּפְּל֛וּ way·yip·pə·lū and fell GRAM DICO
חֲלָלִ֥ים ḥă·lā·lîm wounded GRAM DICO
､
רַבִּ֖ים rab·bîm many GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
פֶּ֥תַח pe·ṯaḥ the [very] entrance GRAM DICO
הַשָּֽׁעַר׃ haš·šā·‘ar. of the gate GRAM DICO

וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב way·yê·šeḇ And dwelt GRAM DICO
אֲבִימֶ֖לֶךְ ’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ Abimelech GRAM DICO
בָּארוּמָ֑ה bā·rū·māh; at Arumah GRAM DICO
､
וַיְגָ֧רֶשׁ way·ḡā·reš and drove out GRAM DICO
זְבֻ֛ל zə·ḇul Zebul GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
גַּ֥עַל ga·‘al Gaal GRAM DICO
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
אֶחָ֖יו ’e·ḥāw his brothers GRAM DICO
､
מִשֶּׁ֥בֶת miš·še·ḇeṯ so that they would not dwell GRAM DICO
בִּשְׁכֶֽם׃ biš·ḵem. in Shechem GRAM DICO

וַֽיְהִי֙ way·hî And it came about GRAM DICO
מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת mim·mā·ḥo·rāṯ, on the next day GRAM DICO
､
וַיֵּצֵ֥א way·yê·ṣê that went out GRAM DICO
הָעָ֖ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה haś·śā·ḏeh; into the field GRAM DICO
–
וַיַּגִּ֖דוּ way·yag·gi·ḏū and they told GRAM DICO
לַאֲבִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ la·’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ. Abimelech GRAM DICO

Juges 9, 43
וַיִּקַּ֣ח way·yiq·qaḥ So he took GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָעָ֗ם hā·‘ām, his people GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיֶּחֱצֵם֙ way·ye·ḥĕ·ṣêm and divided them GRAM DICO
לִשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה liš·lō·šāh into three GRAM DICO
רָאשִׁ֔ים rā·šîm, companies GRAM DICO
､
וַיֶּאֱרֹ֖ב way·ye·’ĕ·rōḇ and lay in wait GRAM DICO
בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה baś·śā·ḏeh; in the field GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּ֗רְא way·yar, and he looked GRAM DICO
､
וְהִנֵּ֤ה wə·hin·nêh and there GRAM DICO
､
הָעָם֙ hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
יֹצֵ֣א yō·ṣê were coming GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- out GRAM DICO
הָעִ֔יר hā·‘îr, of the city GRAM DICO
–
וַיָּ֥קָם way·yā·qām and he rose GRAM DICO
עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם ‘ă·lê·hem against them GRAM DICO
וַיַּכֵּֽם׃ way·yak·kêm. and attacked them GRAM DICO

וַאֲבִימֶ֗לֶךְ wa·’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ, And Abimelech GRAM DICO
､
וְהָרָאשִׁים֙ wə·hā·rā·šîm and the company GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that [was] GRAM DICO
עִמּ֔וֹ ‘im·mōw, with him GRAM DICO
פָּשְׁט֕וּ pā·šə·ṭū rushed forward GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּ֣עַמְד֔וּ way·ya·‘am·ḏū, and stood GRAM DICO
פֶּ֖תַח pe·ṯaḥ at the entrance GRAM DICO
שַׁ֣עַר ša·‘ar of the gate GRAM DICO
הָעִ֑יר hā·‘îr; of the city GRAM DICO
–
וּשְׁנֵ֣י ū·šə·nê and the [other] two GRAM DICO
הָֽרָאשִׁ֗ים hā·rā·šîm, companies GRAM DICO
פָּֽשְׁט֛וּ pā·šə·ṭū rushed GRAM DICO
עַֽל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer who [were] GRAM DICO
בַּשָּׂדֶ֖ה baś·śā·ḏeh in the fields GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּכּֽוּם׃ way·yak·kūm. and killed them GRAM DICO

וַאֲבִימֶ֜לֶךְ wa·’ă·ḇî·me·leḵ So Abimelech GRAM DICO
נִלְחָ֣ם nil·ḥām fought GRAM DICO
בָּעִ֗יר bā·‘îr, against the city GRAM DICO
כֹּ֚ל kōl all GRAM DICO
הַיּ֣וֹם hay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO
–
הַה֔וּא ha·hū, that GRAM DICO
וַיִּלְכֹּד֙ way·yil·kōḏ and he took GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָעִ֔יר hā·‘îr, the city GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הָעָ֥ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- who [were] GRAM DICO
בָּ֖הּ bāh in it GRAM
הָרָ֑ג hā·rāḡ; killed GRAM DICO
וַיִּתֹּץ֙ way·yit·tōṣ and he demolished GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָעִ֔יר hā·‘îr, the city GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּזְרָעֶ֖הָ way·yiz·rā·‘e·hā and sowed it GRAM DICO
מֶֽלַח׃ me·laḥ. with salt GRAM DICO
