פֶּן־ pen- lest GRAM DICO

יִרְדֹּף֩ yir·dōp̄ pursue GRAM DICO

גֹּאֵ֨ל gō·’êl the avenger GRAM DICO

הַדָּ֜ם had·dām of blood GRAM DICO

אַחֲרֵ֣י ’a·ḥă·rê after GRAM DICO

הָרֹצֵ֗חַ hā·rō·ṣê·aḥ, the manslayer GRAM DICO

､

כִּי־ kî- while GRAM DICO

יֵחַם֮ yê·ḥam is hot GRAM DICO

､

לְבָבוֹ֒ lə·ḇā·ḇōw his anger GRAM DICO

וְהִשִּׂיג֛וֹ wə·hiś·śî·ḡōw and overtake him GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO

יִרְבֶּ֥ה yir·beh is long GRAM DICO

הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ had·de·reḵ the way GRAM DICO

וְהִכָּ֣הוּ wə·hik·kā·hū and kill GRAM DICO

נָ֑פֶשׁ nā·p̄eš; him GRAM DICO

וְלוֹ֙ wə·lōw and though he GRAM

אֵ֣ין ’ên not GRAM DICO

מִשְׁפַּט־ miš·paṭ- deserve GRAM DICO

לַאֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ la·’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā; to your fathers GRAM DICO

הַזֹּ֜את haz·zōṯ this GRAM DICO

לַעֲשֹׂתָ֗הּ la·‘ă·śō·ṯāh, and do them GRAM DICO

בִּדְרָכָ֖יו biḏ·rā·ḵāw in His ways GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- ever GRAM DICO

הַיָּמִ֑ים hay·yā·mîm; always GRAM DICO

וְיָסַפְתָּ֨ wə·yā·sap̄·tā then you shall add GRAM DICO

לְךָ֥ lə·ḵā for yourself GRAM

עוֹד֙ ‘ō·wḏ more GRAM DICO

שָׁלֹ֣שׁ šā·lōš three GRAM DICO

עָרִ֔ים ‘ā·rîm, cities GRAM DICO

עַ֖ל ‘al besides GRAM DICO

הַשָּׁלֹ֥שׁ haš·šā·lōš three GRAM DICO

הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ hā·’êl·leh. these GRAM DICO

וְלֹ֤א wə·lō And lest GRAM DICO

יִשָּׁפֵךְ֙ yiš·šā·p̄êḵ be shed GRAM DICO

דָּ֣ם dām blood GRAM DICO

נָקִ֔י nā·qî, innocent GRAM DICO

בְּקֶ֣רֶב bə·qe·reḇ in the midst GRAM DICO

אַרְצְךָ֔ ’ar·ṣə·ḵā, of your land GRAM DICO

､

אֲשֶׁר֙ ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā, your God GRAM DICO

נֹתֵ֥ן nō·ṯên is giving GRAM DICO

לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā you GRAM

נַחֲלָ֑ה na·ḥă·lāh; [as] an inheritance GRAM DICO

וְהָיָ֥ה wə·hā·yāh and [thus] be GRAM DICO

עָלֶ֖יךָ ‘ā·le·ḵā upon you GRAM DICO

דָּמִֽים׃ dā·mîm. guilt of bloodshed GRAM DICO

וְכִֽי־ wə·ḵî- But if GRAM DICO

יִהְיֶ֥ה yih·yeh comes GRAM DICO

אִישׁ֙ ’îš anyone GRAM DICO

שֹׂנֵ֣א śō·nê to hate GRAM DICO

לְרֵעֵ֔הוּ lə·rê·‘ê·hū, his neighbor GRAM DICO

､

וְאָ֤רַב wə·’ā·raḇ and lies in wait GRAM DICO

לוֹ֙ lōw for him GRAM

וְקָ֣ם wə·qām and rises GRAM DICO

עָלָ֔יו ‘ā·lāw, against him GRAM DICO

וְהִכָּ֥הוּ wə·hik·kā·hū and strikes him GRAM DICO

נֶ֖פֶשׁ ne·p̄eš mortally GRAM DICO

וָמֵ֑ת wā·mêṯ; so that he dies GRAM DICO

､

וְנָ֕ס wə·nās and he flees GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

אַחַ֖ת ’a·ḥaṯ one GRAM DICO

הֶעָרִ֥ים he·‘ā·rîm of cities GRAM DICO

הָאֵֽל׃ hā·’êl. these GRAM DICO

וְשָֽׁלְחוּ֙ wə·šā·lə·ḥū Then shall send GRAM DICO

זִקְנֵ֣י ziq·nê the elders GRAM DICO

עִיר֔וֹ ‘î·rōw, of his city GRAM DICO

וְלָקְח֥וּ wə·lā·qə·ḥū and bring GRAM DICO

אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO

מִשָּׁ֑ם miš·šām; from there GRAM DICO

､

וְנָתְנ֣וּ wə·nā·ṯə·nū and deliver over GRAM DICO

אֹת֗וֹ ’ō·ṯōw, him GRAM DICO

בְּיַ֛ד bə·yaḏ to the hand GRAM DICO

גֹּאֵ֥ל gō·’êl of avenger GRAM DICO

הַדָּ֖ם had·dām of the blood GRAM DICO
