Deutéronome 1, 43
וָאֲדַבֵּ֥ר wā·’ă·ḏab·bêr So I spoke GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם ’ă·lê·ḵem to you GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֣א wə·lō and yet not GRAM DICO
שְׁמַעְתֶּ֑ם šə·ma‘·tem; you would listen GRAM DICO
､
וַתַּמְרוּ֙ wat·tam·rū but rebelled against GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
פִּ֣י pî the command GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וַתָּזִ֖דוּ wat·tā·zi·ḏū and presumptuously GRAM DICO
וַתַּעֲל֥וּ wat·ta·‘ă·lū and went up GRAM DICO
הָהָֽרָה׃ hā·hā·rāh. into the mountain GRAM DICO

וַיֵּצֵ֨א way·yê·ṣê And came out GRAM DICO
הָאֱמֹרִ֜י hā·’ĕ·mō·rî the Amorites GRAM DICO
､
הַיֹּשֵׁ֨ב hay·yō·šêḇ who dwelt GRAM DICO
בָּהָ֤ר bā·hār in mountain GRAM DICO
､
הַהוּא֙ ha·hū that GRAM DICO
לִקְרַאתְכֶ֔ם liq·raṯ·ḵem, against you GRAM DICO
וַיִּרְדְּפ֣וּ way·yir·də·p̄ū and chased GRAM DICO
אֶתְכֶ֔ם ’eṯ·ḵem, you GRAM DICO
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO
תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה ta·‘ă·śe·nāh do GRAM DICO
､
הַדְּבֹרִ֑ים had·də·ḇō·rîm; bees GRAM DICO
וַֽיַּכְּת֥וּ way·yak·kə·ṯū and drove back GRAM DICO
אֶתְכֶ֛ם ’eṯ·ḵem you GRAM DICO
בְּשֵׂעִ֖יר bə·śê·‘îr from Seir GRAM DICO
､
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
חָרְמָֽה׃ ḥā·rə·māh. Hormah GRAM DICO

וַתָּשֻׁ֥בוּ wat·tā·šu·ḇū And you returned GRAM DICO
וַתִּבְכּ֖וּ wat·tiḇ·kū and wept GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- but not GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֤ע šā·ma‘ would listen GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
בְּקֹ֣לְכֶ֔ם bə·qō·lə·ḵem, to your voice GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹ֥א wə·lō nor GRAM DICO
הֶאֱזִ֖ין he·’ĕ·zîn give ear GRAM DICO
אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ ’ă·lê·ḵem. to you GRAM DICO

הַמִּדְבָּ֙רָה֙ ham·miḏ·bā·rāh into the wilderness GRAM DICO
דֶּ֣רֶךְ de·reḵ of the Way GRAM DICO
יַם־ yam- of the Sea GRAM DICO
､
ס֔וּף sūp̄, Red GRAM DICO
כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO
דִּבֶּ֥ר dib·ber spoke GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֑י ’ê·lāy; to me GRAM DICO
וַנָּ֥סָב wan·nā·sāḇ and we skirted GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַר־ har- Mount GRAM DICO
שֵׂעִ֖יר śê·‘îr Seir GRAM DICO
יָמִ֥ים yā·mîm for days GRAM DICO
רַבִּֽים׃ rab·bîm. many GRAM DICO

הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; this GRAM DICO
פְּנ֥וּ pə·nū turn GRAM DICO
לָכֶ֖ם lā·ḵem to you GRAM
צָפֹֽנָה׃ ṣā·p̄ō·nāh. northward GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹר֒ lê·mōr saying GRAM DICO

אַתֶּ֣ם ’at·tem You GRAM DICO
עֹֽבְרִ֗ים ‘ō·ḇə·rîm, [are about to] pass through GRAM DICO
בִּגְבוּל֙ biḡ·ḇūl the territory GRAM DICO
אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם ’ă·ḥê·ḵem of your brothers GRAM DICO
בְּנֵי־ bə·nê- the descendants GRAM DICO
עֵשָׂ֔ו ‘ê·śāw, of Esau GRAM DICO
､
הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים hay·yō·šə·ḇîm who live GRAM DICO
בְּשֵׂעִ֑יר bə·śê·‘îr; in Seir GRAM DICO
–
וְיִֽירְא֣וּ wə·yî·rə·’ū and they will be afraid GRAM DICO
מִכֶּ֔ם mik·kem, of you GRAM DICO
וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם wə·niš·mar·tem therefore watch yourselves GRAM DICO
מְאֹֽד׃ mə·’ōḏ. carefully GRAM DICO

תִּתְגָּר֣וּ tiṯ·gā·rū do meddle GRAM DICO
בָ֔ם ḇām, with them GRAM
כִּ֠י kî for GRAM DICO
לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
אֶתֵּ֤ן ’et·tên I will give [any] GRAM DICO
לָכֶם֙ lā·ḵem you GRAM
מֵֽאַרְצָ֔ם mê·’ar·ṣām, of their land GRAM DICO
､
עַ֖ד ‘aḏ no not so much as GRAM DICO
מִדְרַ֣ךְ miḏ·raḵ a footprint GRAM DICO
–
כַּף־ kap̄- branch GRAM DICO
רָ֑גֶל rā·ḡel; one footstep GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO
יְרֻשָּׁ֣ה yə·ruš·šāh [as] a possession GRAM DICO
.
לְעֵשָׂ֔ו lə·‘ê·śāw, To Esau GRAM DICO
נָתַ֖תִּי nā·ṯat·tî I have given GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַ֥ר har Mount GRAM DICO
שֵׂעִֽיר׃ śê·‘îr. Seir GRAM DICO

אֹ֣כֶל ’ō·ḵel Food GRAM DICO
תִּשְׁבְּר֧וּ tiš·bə·rū You shall buy GRAM DICO
מֵֽאִתָּ֛ם mê·’it·tām from them GRAM DICO
בַּכֶּ֖סֶף bak·ke·sep̄ with money GRAM DICO
､
וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֑ם wa·’ă·ḵal·tem; that you may eat GRAM DICO
–
וְגַם־ wə·ḡam- and also GRAM DICO
מַ֜יִם ma·yim water GRAM DICO
תִּכְר֧וּ tiḵ·rū you shall buy GRAM DICO
מֵאִתָּ֛ם mê·’it·tām from them GRAM DICO
בַּכֶּ֖סֶף bak·ke·sep̄ with money GRAM DICO
､
וּשְׁתִיתֶֽם׃ ū·šə·ṯî·ṯem. that you may drink GRAM DICO
