Deutéronome 9, 13

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר way·yō·mer And Furthermore spoke GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֵלַ֣י ’ê·lay to me GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹ֑ר lê·mōr; saying GRAM DICO

､

רָאִ֙יתִי֙ rā·’î·ṯî I have seen GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הָעָ֣ם hā·‘ām people GRAM DICO

､

הַזֶּ֔ה haz·zeh, this GRAM DICO

וְהִנֵּ֥ה wə·hin·nêh and indeed GRAM DICO

､

עַם־ ‘am- a people GRAM DICO

קְשֵׁה־ qə·šêh- Stiff GRAM DICO

עֹ֖רֶף ‘ō·rep̄ necked GRAM DICO

הֽוּא׃ hū. [they] are GRAM DICO

הֶ֤רֶף he·rep̄ Let alone GRAM DICO

מִמֶּ֙נִּי֙ mim·men·nî Me GRAM DICO

וְאַשְׁמִידֵ֔ם wə·’aš·mî·ḏêm, that I may destroy them GRAM DICO

וְאֶמְחֶ֣ה wə·’em·ḥeh and blot out GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

שְׁמָ֔ם šə·mām, their name GRAM DICO

מִתַּ֖חַת mit·ta·ḥaṯ from under GRAM DICO

הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם haš·šā·mā·yim; heaven GRAM DICO

וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ wə·’e·‘ĕ·śeh and I will make GRAM DICO

אֽוֹתְךָ֔ ’ō·wṯ·ḵā, of you GRAM DICO

לְגוֹי־ lə·ḡō·w- a nation GRAM DICO

עָצ֥וּם ‘ā·ṣūm mightier GRAM DICO

וָרָ֖ב wā·rāḇ and greater GRAM DICO

מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ mim·men·nū. than they GRAM DICO

וָאֵ֗פֶן wā·’ê·p̄en, So I turned GRAM DICO

וָֽאֵרֵד֙ wā·’ê·rêḏ and came down GRAM DICO

מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO

הָהָ֔ר hā·hār, the mountain GRAM DICO

､

וְהָהָ֖ר wə·hā·hār and the mountain GRAM DICO

בֹּעֵ֣ר bō·‘êr burned GRAM DICO

בָּאֵ֑שׁ bā·’êš; with fire GRAM DICO

､

וּשְׁנֵי֙ ū·šə·nê and two GRAM DICO

לֻחֹ֣ת lu·ḥōṯ the tablets GRAM DICO

הַבְּרִ֔ית hab·bə·rîṯ, of the covenant [were] GRAM DICO

עַ֖ל ‘al in GRAM DICO

שְׁתֵּ֥י šə·tê two GRAM DICO

יָדָֽי׃ yā·ḏāy. my hands GRAM DICO

וָאֵ֗רֶא wā·’ê·re, And I looked GRAM DICO

וְהִנֵּ֤ה wə·hin·nêh and behold GRAM DICO

､

חֲטָאתֶם֙ ḥă·ṭā·ṯem you had sinned GRAM DICO

לַיהוָ֣ה Yah·weh against Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem, your God GRAM DICO

､

עֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם ‘ă·śî·ṯem had made GRAM DICO

לָכֶ֔ם lā·ḵem, for yourselves GRAM

עֵ֖גֶל ‘ê·ḡel a calf GRAM DICO

–

מַסֵּכָ֑ה mas·sê·ḵāh; molded GRAM DICO

סַרְתֶּ֣ם sar·tem You had turned aside GRAM DICO

מַהֵ֔ר ma·hêr, quickly GRAM DICO

מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO

הַדֶּ֕רֶךְ had·de·reḵ the way GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO

צִוָּ֥ה ṣiw·wāh had commanded GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֶתְכֶֽם׃ ’eṯ·ḵem. you GRAM DICO

Deutéronome 9, 17

וָאֶתְפֹּשׂ֙ wā·’eṯ·pōś And I took GRAM DICO

בִּשְׁנֵ֣י biš·nê two GRAM DICO

הַלֻּחֹ֔ת hal·lu·ḥōṯ, the tablets GRAM DICO

､

וָֽאַשְׁלִכֵ֔ם wā·’aš·li·ḵêm, and threw them GRAM DICO

מֵעַ֖ל mê·‘al out GRAM DICO

שְׁתֵּ֣י šə·tê of two GRAM DICO

יָדָ֑י yā·ḏāy; my hands GRAM DICO

､

וָאֲשַׁבְּרֵ֖ם wā·’ă·šab·bə·rêm and broke them GRAM DICO

לְעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ lə·‘ê·nê·ḵem. before your eyes GRAM DICO

וָֽאֶתְנַפַּל֩ wā·’eṯ·nap·pal And I fell down GRAM DICO

לִפְנֵ֨י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֜ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

כָּרִאשֹׁנָ֗ה kā·ri·šō·nāh, as at the first GRAM DICO

､

אַרְבָּעִ֥ים ’ar·bā·‘îm forty GRAM DICO

יוֹם֙ yō·wm days GRAM DICO

וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים wə·’ar·bā·‘îm and forty GRAM DICO

לַ֔יְלָה lay·lāh, nights GRAM DICO

–

לֶ֚חֶם le·ḥem bread GRAM DICO

､

לֹ֣א lō neither GRAM DICO

אָכַ֔לְתִּי ’ā·ḵal·tî, I ate GRAM DICO

וּמַ֖יִם ū·ma·yim and water GRAM DICO

､

לֹ֣א lō nor GRAM DICO

שָׁתִ֑יתִי šā·ṯî·ṯî; drank GRAM DICO

עַ֤ל ‘al because GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- of all GRAM DICO

חַטַּאתְכֶם֙ ḥaṭ·ṭaṯ·ḵem your sin GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO

חֲטָאתֶ֔ם ḥă·ṭā·ṯem, you committed GRAM DICO

､

לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת la·‘ă·śō·wṯ in doing GRAM DICO

הָרַ֛ע hā·ra‘ wickedly GRAM DICO

בְּעֵינֵ֥י bə·‘ê·nê in the sight GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃ lə·haḵ·‘î·sōw. to provoke Him to anger GRAM DICO

כִּ֣י kî For GRAM DICO

יָגֹ֗רְתִּי yā·ḡō·rə·tî, I was afraid GRAM DICO

מִפְּנֵ֤י mip·pə·nê of GRAM DICO

הָאַף֙ hā·’ap̄ the anger GRAM DICO

וְהַ֣חֵמָ֔ה wə·ha·ḥê·māh, and hot displeasure GRAM DICO

､

אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer with which GRAM DICO

קָצַ֧ף qā·ṣap̄ was angry GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם ‘ă·lê·ḵem with you GRAM DICO

לְהַשְׁמִ֣יד lə·haš·mîḏ to destroy GRAM DICO

אֶתְכֶ֑ם ’eṯ·ḵem; you GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע way·yiš·ma‘ but listened GRAM DICO

יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֵלַ֔י ’ê·lay, to me GRAM DICO

גַּ֖ם gam also GRAM DICO

בַּפַּ֥עַם bap·pa·‘am at time GRAM DICO

הַהִֽוא׃ ha·hi·w. that GRAM DICO

וּֽבְאַהֲרֹ֗ן ū·ḇə·’a·hă·rōn, And with Aaron GRAM DICO

הִתְאַנַּ֧ף hiṯ·’an·nap̄ was angry GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

מְאֹ֖ד mə·’ōḏ very GRAM DICO

לְהַשְׁמִיד֑וֹ lə·haš·mî·ḏōw; [and] would have destroyed him GRAM DICO

וָֽאֶתְפַּלֵּ֛ל wā·’eṯ·pal·lêl so I prayed GRAM DICO

גַּם־ gam- also GRAM DICO

בְּעַ֥ד bə·‘aḏ for GRAM DICO

אַהֲרֹ֖ן ’a·hă·rōn Aaron GRAM DICO

בָּעֵ֥ת bā·‘êṯ at time GRAM DICO

הַהִֽוא‪‬‪‬ ha·hi·w. that GRAM DICO
