Esdras 8, 23
וַנָּצ֛וּמָה wan·nā·ṣū·māh So we fasted GRAM DICO
וַנְּבַקְשָׁ֥ה wan·nə·ḇaq·šāh and entreated GRAM DICO
מֵאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ mê·’ĕ·lō·hê·nū our God GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- for GRAM DICO
זֹ֑את zōṯ; this GRAM DICO
–
וַיֵּעָתֵ֖ר way·yê·‘ā·ṯêr and He answered our prayer GRAM DICO
לָֽנוּ׃ lā·nū. to GRAM

וָאַבְדִּ֛ילָה wā·’aḇ·dî·lāh And I separated GRAM DICO
מִשָּׂרֵ֥י miś·śā·rê of the leaders GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים hak·kō·hă·nîm of the priests GRAM DICO
､
שְׁנֵ֣ים šə·nêm two GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֑ר ‘ā·śār; [and] ten GRAM DICO
לְשֵׁרֵֽבְיָ֣ה lə·šê·rê·ḇə·yāh Sherebiah GRAM DICO
､
חֲשַׁבְיָ֔ה ḥă·šaḇ·yāh, Hashabiah GRAM DICO
､
וְעִמָּהֶ֥ם wə·‘im·mā·hem and with them GRAM DICO
מֵאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם mê·’ă·ḥê·hem of their brothers GRAM DICO
עֲשָׂרָֽה׃ ‘ă·śā·rāh. ten GRAM DICO

[ואשקולה] wā·’eš·qō·w·lāh And GRAM
(וָאֶשְׁקֳלָ֣ה‪‬) wā·’eš·qo·lāh weighed out GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֔ם lā·hem, to them GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֥סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ the silver GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַזָּהָ֖ב haz·zā·hāḇ the gold GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַכֵּלִ֑ים hak·kê·lîm; the articles GRAM DICO
､
תְּרוּמַ֣ת tə·rū·maṯ the offering for GRAM DICO
בֵּית־ bêṯ- the house GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū, of our God GRAM DICO
､
הַהֵרִ֙ימוּ֙ ha·hê·rî·mū which had offered GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ The king GRAM DICO
､
וְיֹעֲצָ֣יו wə·yō·‘ă·ṣāw and his counselors GRAM DICO
､
וְשָׂרָ֔יו wə·śā·rāw, and his princes GRAM DICO
､
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO
הַנִּמְצָאִֽים׃ han·nim·ṣā·’îm. [who were] present GRAM DICO

וָאֶשְׁקֲלָ֨ה wā·’eš·qă·lāh and I weighed GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- into GRAM DICO
יָדָ֜ם yā·ḏām their hand GRAM DICO
כֶּ֗סֶף ke·sep̄, of silver GRAM DICO
､
כִּכָּרִים֙ kik·kā·rîm talents GRAM DICO
שֵֽׁשׁ־ šêš- six GRAM DICO
מֵא֣וֹת mê·’ō·wṯ hundred GRAM DICO
וַחֲמִשִּׁ֔ים wa·ḥă·miš·šîm, and fifty GRAM DICO
וּכְלֵי־ ū·ḵə·lê- and articles GRAM DICO
כֶ֥סֶף ḵe·sep̄ silver GRAM DICO
מֵאָ֖ה mê·’āh [weighing] a hundred GRAM DICO
לְכִכָּרִ֑ים lə·ḵik·kā·rîm; talents GRAM DICO
､
זָהָ֖ב zā·hāḇ of gold GRAM DICO
מֵאָ֥ה mê·’āh a hundred GRAM DICO
כִכָּֽר׃ ḵik·kār. talents GRAM DICO

וּכְפֹרֵ֤י ū·ḵə·p̄ō·rê and basins GRAM DICO
זָהָב֙ zā·hāḇ gold GRAM DICO
､
עֶשְׂרִ֔ים ‘eś·rîm, twenty GRAM DICO
לַאֲדַרְכֹנִ֖ים la·’ă·ḏar·ḵō·nîm drachmas GRAM DICO
–
אָ֑לֶף ’ā·lep̄; [worth] a thousand GRAM DICO
וּכְלֵ֨י ū·ḵə·lê and vessels GRAM DICO
נְחֹ֜שֶׁת nə·ḥō·šeṯ of bronze GRAM DICO
､
מֻצְהָ֤ב muṣ·hāḇ polished GRAM DICO
טוֹבָה֙ ṭō·w·ḇāh fine GRAM DICO
שְׁנַ֔יִם šə·na·yim, two GRAM DICO
חֲמוּדֹ֖ת ḥă·mū·ḏōṯ precious GRAM DICO
כַּזָּהָֽב׃ kaz·zā·hāḇ. as gold GRAM DICO

וָאֹמְרָ֣ה wā·’ō·mə·rāh And I said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶ֗ם ’ă·lê·hem, to them GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֥ם ’at·tem You [are] GRAM DICO
קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ qō·ḏeš holy GRAM DICO
לַיהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, to Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וְהַכֵּלִ֖ים wə·hak·kê·lîm and the articles [are] GRAM DICO
קֹ֑דֶשׁ qō·ḏeš; holy GRAM DICO
וְהַכֶּ֤סֶף wə·hak·ke·sep̄ and the silver GRAM DICO
וְהַזָּהָב֙ wə·haz·zā·hāḇ and the gold GRAM DICO
נְדָבָ֔ה nə·ḏā·ḇāh, [are] a freewill offering GRAM DICO
לַיהוָ֖ה Yah·weh to Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֥י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem. of your fathers GRAM DICO

שִׁקְד֣וּ šiq·ḏū Watch GRAM DICO
וְשִׁמְר֗וּ wə·šim·rū, and keep [them] GRAM DICO
עַֽד־ ‘aḏ- until GRAM DICO
תִּשְׁקְל֡וּ tiš·qə·lū you weigh [them] GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵי֩ lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
שָׂרֵ֨י śā·rê the leaders GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים hak·kō·hă·nîm of the priests GRAM DICO
וְהַלְוִיִּ֛ם wə·hal·wî·yim and the Levites GRAM DICO
､
וְשָׂרֵֽי־ wə·śā·rê- and heads GRAM DICO
הָאָב֥וֹת hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ of the fathers' [houses] GRAM DICO
לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל lə·yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
､
בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם bî·rū·šā·lim; in Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
הַלִּשְׁכ֖וֹת hal·liš·ḵō·wṯ the [in] chambers GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ of the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְקִבְּלוּ֙ wə·qib·bə·lū So received GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים hak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO
וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם wə·hal·wî·yim, and the Levites GRAM DICO
מִשְׁקַ֛ל miš·qal by weight GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֥סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ the silver GRAM DICO
､
וְהַזָּהָ֖ב wə·haz·zā·hāḇ and the gold GRAM DICO
､
וְהַכֵּלִ֑ים wə·hak·kê·lîm; and the articles GRAM DICO
､
לְהָבִ֥יא lə·hā·ḇî to bring [them] GRAM DICO
לִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם lî·rū·šā·lim to Jerusalem GRAM DICO
לְבֵ֥ית lə·ḇêṯ to the house GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū. of our God GRAM DICO

וַֽנִּסְעָ֞ה wan·nis·‘āh And we departed GRAM DICO
מִנְּהַ֣ר min·nə·har from the river GRAM DICO
אַֽהֲוָ֗א ’a·hă·wā, Ahava GRAM DICO
בִּשְׁנֵ֤ים biš·nêm on two GRAM DICO
עָשָׂר֙ ‘ā·śār and ten [day] GRAM DICO
לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ la·ḥō·ḏeš of the month GRAM DICO
､
הָרִאשׁ֔וֹן hā·ri·šō·wn, first GRAM DICO
לָלֶ֖כֶת lā·le·ḵeṯ to go GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yə·rū·šā·lim; to Jerusalem GRAM DICO
–
וְיַד־ wə·yaḏ- and the hand GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū of our God GRAM DICO
הָיְתָ֣ה hā·yə·ṯāh was GRAM DICO
עָלֵ֔ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū, upon us GRAM DICO
וַיַּ֨צִּילֵ֔נוּ way·yaṣ·ṣî·lê·nū, and He delivered us GRAM DICO
מִכַּ֥ף mik·kap̄ from the hand GRAM DICO
אוֹיֵ֛ב ’ō·w·yêḇ of the enemy GRAM DICO
､
וְאוֹרֵ֖ב wə·’ō·w·rêḇ and from ambush GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- along GRAM DICO
הַדָּֽרֶךְ׃ had·dā·reḵ. the road GRAM DICO
