וַיְהִ֕י way·hî And it came to pass GRAM DICO
､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר ka·’ă·šer when GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֛ע šā·ma‘ heard GRAM DICO
עֶ֥בֶד ‘e·ḇeḏ servant GRAM DICO
אַבְרָהָ֖ם ’aḇ·rā·hām Abraham's GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
דִּבְרֵיהֶ֑ם diḇ·rê·hem; their words GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּשְׁתַּ֥חוּ way·yiš·ta·ḥū that he bowed down GRAM DICO
אַ֖רְצָה ’ar·ṣāh to the ground GRAM DICO
､
לַֽיהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיּוֹצֵ֨א way·yō·w·ṣê And brought out GRAM DICO
הָעֶ֜בֶד hā·‘e·ḇeḏ the servant GRAM DICO
כְּלֵי־ kə·lê- jewels GRAM DICO
כֶ֨סֶף ḵe·sep̄ of silver GRAM DICO
､
וּכְלֵ֤י ū·ḵə·lê and jewels GRAM DICO
זָהָב֙ zā·hāḇ of gold GRAM DICO
､
וּבְגָדִ֔ים ū·ḇə·ḡā·ḏîm, and clothing GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּתֵּ֖ן way·yit·tên and gave [them] GRAM DICO
לְרִבְקָ֑ה lə·riḇ·qāh; to Rebekah GRAM DICO
–
וּמִ֨גְדָּנֹ֔ת ū·miḡ·dā·nōṯ, and precious things GRAM DICO
נָתַ֥ן nā·ṯan He gave GRAM DICO
לְאָחִ֖יהָ lə·’ā·ḥî·hā to her brother GRAM DICO
וּלְאִמָּֽהּ׃ ū·lə·’im·māh. and to her mother GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאכְל֣וּ way·yō·ḵə·lū And ate GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׁתּ֗וּ way·yiš·tū, and drank GRAM DICO
､
ה֛וּא hū he GRAM DICO
וְהָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים wə·hā·’ă·nā·šîm and the men GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- who [were] GRAM DICO
עִמּ֖וֹ ‘im·mōw with him GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּלִ֑ינוּ way·yā·lî·nū; and spent the night there GRAM DICO

וַיָּק֣וּמוּ way·yā·qū·mū And they arose GRAM DICO
בַבֹּ֔קֶר ḇab·bō·qer, in the morning GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO
､
שַׁלְּחֻ֥נִי šal·lə·ḥu·nî Send me away GRAM DICO
לַֽאדֹנִֽי׃ la·ḏō·nî. to my master GRAM DICO

אָחִ֙יהָ֙ ’ā·ḥî·hā her brother GRAM DICO
וְאִמָּ֔הּ wə·’im·māh, and her mother GRAM DICO
､
תֵּשֵׁ֨ב tê·šêḇ let stay GRAM DICO
הַנַּעֲרָ֥ han·na·‘ă·rā the girl GRAM DICO
אִתָּ֛נוּ ’it·tā·nū with us GRAM DICO
יָמִ֖ים yā·mîm [a few] days GRAM DICO
､
א֣וֹ ’ōw at least GRAM DICO
עָשׂ֑וֹר ‘ā·śō·wr; ten GRAM DICO
–
אַחַ֖ר ’a·ḥar after [that] GRAM DICO
תֵּלֵֽךְ׃ tê·lêḵ. she may go GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And he said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶם֙ ’ă·lê·hem to them GRAM DICO
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
､
תְּאַחֲר֣וּ tə·’a·ḥă·rū do hinder GRAM DICO
אֹתִ֔י ’ō·ṯî, me GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיהוָ֖ה Yah·weh since Yahweh GRAM DICO
הִצְלִ֣יחַ hiṣ·lî·aḥ has prospered GRAM DICO
דַּרְכִּ֑י dar·kî; my way GRAM DICO
–
שַׁלְּח֕וּנִי šal·lə·ḥū·nî send me away GRAM DICO
וְאֵלְכָ֖ה wə·’ê·lə·ḵāh so that I may go GRAM DICO
לַֽאדֹנִֽי׃ la·ḏō·nî. to my master GRAM DICO

לַֽנַּעֲרָ֑ lan·na·‘ă·rā; the girl GRAM DICO
､
וְנִשְׁאֲלָ֖ה wə·niš·’ă·lāh and inquire GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ- at her GRAM DICO
פִּֽיהָ׃ pî·hā. mouth GRAM DICO

הָאִ֣ישׁ hā·’îš man GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; this GRAM DICO
؟
וַתֹּ֖אמֶר wat·tō·mer and she said GRAM DICO
､
אֵלֵֽךְ׃ ’ê·lêḵ. I will go GRAM DICO

לָ֔הּ lāh, to her GRAM
אֲחֹתֵ֕נוּ ’ă·ḥō·ṯê·nū Our sister GRAM DICO
､
אַ֥תְּ ’at you GRAM DICO
הֲיִ֖י hă·yî may become [the mother] GRAM DICO
לְאַלְפֵ֣י lə·’al·p̄ê of thousands GRAM DICO
רְבָבָ֑ה rə·ḇā·ḇāh; of myriads GRAM DICO
､
וְיִירַ֣שׁ wə·yî·raš and may possess GRAM DICO
זַרְעֵ֔ךְ zar·‘êḵ, your descendants GRAM DICO
אֵ֖ת ’êṯ  -  GRAM DICO
שַׁ֥עַר ša·‘ar the gates GRAM DICO
שֹׂנְאָֽיו׃ śō·nə·’āw. of those who hate them GRAM DICO

רִבְקָ֜ה riḇ·qāh Rebekah GRAM DICO
וְנַעֲרֹתֶ֗יהָ wə·na·‘ă·rō·ṯe·hā, and her servant girls GRAM DICO
､
וַתִּרְכַּ֙בְנָה֙ wat·tir·kaḇ·nāh and they rode GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הַגְּמַלִּ֔ים hag·gə·mal·lîm, the camels GRAM DICO
､
וַתֵּלַ֖כְנָה wat·tê·laḵ·nāh and GRAM DICO
אַחֲרֵ֣י ’a·ḥă·rê followed GRAM DICO
הָאִ֑ישׁ hā·’îš; the man GRAM DICO
.
וַיִּקַּ֥ח way·yiq·qaḥ So took GRAM DICO
הָעֶ֛בֶד hā·‘e·ḇeḏ the servant GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
רִבְקָ֖ה riḇ·qāh Rebekah GRAM DICO
