הַכֵּ֤ה hak·kêh Indeed GRAM DICO
הִכִּ֙יתָ֙ hik·kî·ṯā You have defeated GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
אֱד֔וֹם ’ĕ·ḏō·wm, Edom GRAM DICO
､
וּֽנְשָׂאֲךָ֖ ū·nə·śā·’ă·ḵā and has lifted you up GRAM DICO
–
לִבֶּ֑ךָ lib·be·ḵā; your heart GRAM DICO
הִכָּבֵד֙ hik·kā·ḇêḏ Glory [in that] GRAM DICO
וְשֵׁ֣ב wə·šêḇ and stay GRAM DICO
בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָ bə·ḇê·ṯe·ḵā, at home GRAM DICO
–
וְלָ֤מָּה wə·lām·māh and why GRAM DICO
תִתְגָּרֶה֙ ṯiṯ·gā·reh should you meddle GRAM DICO
בְּרָעָ֔ה bə·rā·‘āh, with trouble GRAM DICO
､
וְנָ֣פַלְתָּ֔ה wə·nā·p̄al·tāh, so that you fall GRAM DICO
､
אַתָּ֖ה ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO
､
וִיהוּדָ֥ה wî·hū·ḏāh and Judah GRAM DICO
עִמָּֽךְ׃ ‘im·māḵ. with you GRAM DICO

וְלֹא־ wə·lō- But not GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֣ע šā·ma‘ would heed GRAM DICO
.
אֲמַצְיָ֔הוּ ’ă·maṣ·yā·hū, Amaziah GRAM DICO
וַיַּ֨עַל way·ya·‘al therefore went out GRAM DICO
–
יְהוֹאָ֤שׁ yə·hō·w·’āš Jehoash GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
וַיִּתְרָא֣וּ way·yiṯ·rā·’ū so faced one another GRAM DICO
פָנִ֔ים p̄ā·nîm, in the face GRAM DICO
ה֖וּא hū he GRAM DICO
וַאֲמַצְיָ֣הוּ wa·’ă·maṣ·yā·hū and Amaziah GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֑ה yə·hū·ḏāh; of Judah GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֥ית bə·ḇêṯ at GRAM
שֶׁ֖מֶשׁ še·meš Beth Shemesh GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer which [belongs] GRAM DICO
לִיהוּדָֽה׃ lî·hū·ḏāh. to Judah GRAM DICO

וַיִּנָּ֥גֶף way·yin·nā·ḡep̄ And was defeated GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh Judah GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê by GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO
–
וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ way·yā·nu·sū and fled GRAM DICO
אִ֥ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO
[לאהלו] lə·’ā·ho·lōw  -  GRAM
(לְאֹהָלָֽיו׃) lə·’ō·hā·lāw. to his tent GRAM DICO

בֶּן־ ben- the son GRAM DICO
יְהוֹאָ֣שׁ yə·hō·w·’āš of Jehoash GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- the son GRAM DICO
אֲחַזְיָ֗הוּ ’ă·ḥaz·yā·hū, of Ahaziah GRAM DICO
､
תָּפַ֛שׂ tā·p̄aś captured GRAM DICO
יְהוֹאָ֥שׁ yə·hō·w·’āš Jehoash GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ at GRAM
שָׁ֑מֶשׁ šā·meš; Beth Shemesh GRAM DICO
､
[ויבאו] way·yā·ḇō·’ū  -  GRAM
(וַיָּבֹא֙) way·yā·ḇō and he went GRAM DICO
יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם yə·rū·šā·lim, to Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּפְרֹץ֩ way·yip̄·rōṣ and broke down GRAM DICO
בְּחוֹמַ֨ת bə·ḥō·w·maṯ the wall GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם yə·rū·šā·lim of Jerusalem GRAM DICO
בְּשַׁ֤עַר bə·ša·‘ar from the Gate GRAM DICO
אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ ’ep̄·ra·yim of Ephraim GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
שַׁ֣עַר ša·‘ar Gate GRAM DICO
､
הַפִּנָּ֔ה hap·pin·nāh, the Corner GRAM DICO
אַרְבַּ֥ע ’ar·ba‘ four GRAM DICO
מֵא֖וֹת mê·’ō·wṯ hundred GRAM DICO
אַמָּֽה׃ ’am·māh. cubits GRAM DICO

הַזָּהָב־ haz·zā·hāḇ- the gold GRAM DICO
וְ֠הַכֶּסֶף wə·hak·ke·sep̄ and silver GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֨ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הַכֵּלִ֜ים hak·kê·lîm the articles GRAM DICO
הַנִּמְצְאִ֣ים han·nim·ṣə·’îm that were found GRAM DICO
בֵּית־ bêṯ- in the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
וּבְאֹֽצְרוֹת֙ ū·ḇə·’ō·ṣə·rō·wṯ and in the treasuries GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ of house GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO
וְאֵ֖ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê hostages GRAM DICO
הַתַּֽעֲרֻב֑וֹת hat·ta·‘ă·ru·ḇō·wṯ; hostages GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּ֖שָׁב way·yā·šāḇ and returned GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֽוֹנָה׃ šō·mə·rō·w·nāh. to Samaria GRAM DICO

דִּבְרֵ֨י diḇ·rê of the acts GRAM DICO
יְהוֹאָ֜שׁ yə·hō·w·’āš of Jehoash GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
עָשָׂה֙ ‘ā·śāh he did GRAM DICO
､
וּגְב֣וּרָת֔וֹ ū·ḡə·ḇū·rā·ṯōw, and his might GRAM DICO
､
וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר wa·’ă·šer and how GRAM DICO
נִלְחַ֔ם nil·ḥam, he fought GRAM DICO
עִ֖ם ‘im with GRAM DICO
אֲמַצְיָ֣הוּ ’ă·maṣ·yā·hū Amaziah GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֑ה yə·hū·ḏāh; of Judah GRAM DICO
､
הֲלֹא־ hă·lō- [are] not GRAM DICO
הֵ֣ם hêm they GRAM DICO
כְּתוּבִ֗ים kə·ṯū·ḇîm, written GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- in GRAM DICO
סֵ֛פֶר sê·p̄er the book GRAM DICO
דִּבְרֵ֥י diḇ·rê of GRAM DICO
הַיָּמִ֖ים hay·yā·mîm the chronicles GRAM DICO
לְמַלְכֵ֥י lə·mal·ḵê of the kings GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. of Israel GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב way·yiš·kaḇ so rested GRAM DICO
יְהוֹאָשׁ֙ yə·hō·w·’āš Jehoash GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתָ֔יו ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw, his fathers GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּקָּבֵר֙ way·yiq·qā·ḇêr and was buried GRAM DICO
בְּשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן bə·šō·mə·rō·wn, in Samaria GRAM DICO
עִ֖ם ‘im with GRAM DICO
מַלְכֵ֣י mal·ḵê the kings GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
–
וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ way·yim·lōḵ and reigned GRAM DICO
יָרָבְעָ֥ם yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām Jeroboam GRAM DICO
בְּנ֖וֹ bə·nōw his son GRAM DICO
תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ taḥ·tāw. in his place GRAM DICO
