שׁ֣וּב šūḇ Return GRAM DICO
､
וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ wə·’ā·mar·tā and tell GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- unto GRAM DICO
חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ ḥiz·qî·yā·hū Hezekiah GRAM DICO
נְגִיד־ nə·ḡîḏ- the leader GRAM DICO
עַמִּ֗י ‘am·mî, of My people GRAM DICO
､
כֹּֽה־ kōh- thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֤ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
אֱלֹהֵי֙ ’ĕ·lō·hê the God GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֣ד dā·wiḏ of David GRAM DICO
אָבִ֔יךָ ’ā·ḇî·ḵā, your father GRAM DICO
､
שָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙ šā·ma‘·tî I have heard GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
תְּפִלָּתֶ֔ךָ tə·p̄il·lā·ṯe·ḵā, your prayer GRAM DICO
､
רָאִ֖יתִי rā·’î·ṯî I have seen GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
דִּמְעָתֶ֑ךָ dim·‘ā·ṯe·ḵā; your tears GRAM DICO
–
הִנְנִי֙ hin·nî surely GRAM DICO
רֹ֣פֶא rō·p̄e I will heal GRAM DICO
לָ֔ךְ lāḵ, you GRAM
בַּיּוֹם֙ bay·yō·wm On the day GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י haš·šə·lî·šî, third GRAM DICO
תַּעֲלֶ֖ה ta·‘ă·leh you shall go up GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ to the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְהֹסַפְתִּ֣י wə·hō·sap̄·tî And I will add GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- to GRAM DICO
יָמֶ֗יךָ yā·me·ḵā, your days GRAM DICO
חֲמֵ֤שׁ ḥă·mêš five GRAM DICO
עֶשְׂרֵה֙ ‘eś·rêh [and] ten GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֔ה šā·nāh, years GRAM DICO
–
וּמִכַּ֤ף ū·mik·kap̄ and from the hand GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- of the king GRAM DICO
אַשּׁוּר֙ ’aš·šūr of Assyria GRAM DICO
–
אַצִּ֣ילְךָ֔ ’aṣ·ṣî·lə·ḵā, I will deliver you GRAM DICO
וְאֵ֖ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
הָעִ֣יר hā·‘îr city GRAM DICO
הַזֹּ֑את haz·zōṯ; this GRAM DICO
וְגַנּוֹתִי֙ wə·ḡan·nō·w·ṯî and I will defend GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
הָעִ֣יר hā·‘îr city GRAM DICO
הַזֹּ֔את haz·zōṯ, this GRAM DICO
לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י lə·ma·‘ă·nî, for My own sake GRAM DICO
､
וּלְמַ֖עַן ū·lə·ma·‘an for the sake GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֥ד dā·wiḏ of David GRAM DICO
עַבְדִּֽי׃ ‘aḇ·dî. My servant GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
､
יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ yə·ša‘·yā·hū, Isaiah GRAM DICO
קְח֖וּ qə·ḥū take GRAM DICO
דְּבֶ֣לֶת də·ḇe·leṯ a lump GRAM DICO
תְּאֵנִ֑ים tə·’ê·nîm; of figs GRAM DICO
.
וַיִּקְח֛וּ way·yiq·ḥū So they took GRAM DICO
וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ way·yā·śî·mū and laid [it] GRAM DICO
עַֽל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁחִ֖ין haš·šə·ḥîn the boil GRAM DICO
､
וַיֶּֽחִי׃ way·ye·ḥî. and he recovered GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ ḥiz·qî·yā·hū Hezekiah GRAM DICO
אֶֽל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ yə·ša‘·yā·hū, Isaiah GRAM DICO
､
מָ֣ה māh what [is] GRAM DICO
א֔וֹת ’ō·wṯ, the sign GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO
יִרְפָּ֥א yir·pā will heal GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
לִ֑י lî; me GRAM
וְעָלִ֛יתִי wə·‘ā·lî·ṯî that I shall go up GRAM DICO
בַּיּ֥וֹם bay·yō·wm the day GRAM DICO
؟
הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י haš·šə·lî·šî third GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ to the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

､
יְשַׁעְיָ֗הוּ yə·ša‘·yā·hū, Isaiah GRAM DICO
זֶה־ zeh- this [is] GRAM DICO
לְּךָ֤ lə·ḵā to you GRAM
הָאוֹת֙ hā·’ō·wṯ the sign GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֣ת mê·’êṯ from GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֚י kî that GRAM DICO
יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה ya·‘ă·śeh will do GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָ֖ר had·dā·ḇār the thing GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
דִּבֵּ֑ר dib·bêr; He has spoken GRAM DICO
–
הָלַ֤ךְ hā·laḵ [shall] go forward GRAM DICO
הַצֵּל֙ haṣ·ṣêl the shadow GRAM DICO
עֶ֣שֶׂר ‘e·śer ten GRAM DICO
מַֽעֲל֔וֹת ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ, degrees GRAM DICO
､
אִם־ ’im- or GRAM DICO
יָשׁ֖וּב yā·šūḇ go backward GRAM DICO
עֶ֥שֶׂר ‘e·śer ten GRAM DICO
מַעֲלֽוֹת׃ ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ. degrees GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ way·yō·mer and answered GRAM DICO
､
יְחִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū, Hezekiah GRAM DICO
נָקֵ֣ל nā·qêl it is an easy thing GRAM DICO
לַצֵּ֔ל laṣ·ṣêl, for the shadow GRAM DICO
לִנְט֖וֹת lin·ṭō·wṯ to go down GRAM DICO
עֶ֣שֶׂר ‘e·śer ten GRAM DICO
מַעֲל֑וֹת ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ; degrees GRAM DICO
–
לֹ֣א lō no GRAM DICO
､
כִ֔י ḵî, but GRAM DICO
יָשׁ֥וּב yā·šūḇ let go GRAM DICO
הַצֵּ֛ל haṣ·ṣêl the shadow GRAM DICO
אֲחֹרַנִּ֖ית ’ă·ḥō·ran·nîṯ backward GRAM DICO
עֶ֥שֶׂר ‘e·śer ten GRAM DICO
מַעֲלֽוֹת׃ ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ. degrees GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְרָ֛א way·yiq·rā So cried out GRAM DICO
יְשַׁעְיָ֥הוּ yə·ša‘·yā·hū Isaiah GRAM DICO
הַנָּבִ֖יא han·nā·ḇî the prophet GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּ֣שֶׁב way·yā·šeḇ and He brought GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַצֵּ֗ל haṣ·ṣêl, the shadow GRAM DICO
בַּֽ֠מַּעֲלוֹת bam·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ bruised GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer by which GRAM DICO
יָרְדָ֜ה yā·rə·ḏāh it had gone down GRAM DICO
בְּמַעֲל֥וֹת bə·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ on the sundial GRAM DICO
אָחָ֛ז ’ā·ḥāz of Ahaz GRAM DICO

אֲחֹֽרַנִּ֖ית ’ă·ḥō·ran·nîṯ Backward GRAM DICO
､
עֶ֥שֶׂר ‘e·śer ten GRAM DICO
מַעֲלֽוֹת׃ ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ. degrees GRAM DICO
