I Samuel 19, 2

וַיַּגֵּ֤ד way·yag·gêḏ So told GRAM DICO

יְהוֹנָתָן֙ yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān Jonathan GRAM DICO

לְדָוִ֣ד lə·ḏā·wiḏ David GRAM DICO

–

לֵאמֹ֔ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO

､

מְבַקֵּ֛שׁ mə·ḇaq·qêš seeks GRAM DICO

שָׁא֥וּל šā·’ūl Saul GRAM DICO

אָבִ֖י ’ā·ḇî My father GRAM DICO

לַהֲמִיתֶ֑ךָ la·hă·mî·ṯe·ḵā; to kill you GRAM DICO

וְעַתָּה֙ wə·‘at·tāh therefore GRAM DICO

הִשָּֽׁמֶר־ hiš·šā·mer- be on your guard GRAM DICO

נָ֣א nā please GRAM DICO

､

בַבֹּ֔קֶר ḇab·bō·qer, until morning GRAM DICO

､

וְיָשַׁבְתָּ֥ wə·yā·šaḇ·tā and stay GRAM DICO

בַסֵּ֖תֶר ḇas·sê·ṯer in a secret [place] GRAM DICO

וְנַחְבֵּֽאתָ׃ wə·naḥ·bê·ṯā. and hide GRAM DICO

וַאֲנִ֨י wa·’ă·nî and I GRAM DICO

אֵצֵ֜א ’ê·ṣê will go out GRAM DICO

וְעָמַדְתִּ֣י wə·‘ā·maḏ·tî and stand GRAM DICO

לְיַד־ lə·yaḏ- beside GRAM DICO

אָבִ֗י ’ā·ḇî, my father GRAM DICO

בַּשָּׂדֶה֙ baś·śā·ḏeh in the field GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer there GRAM DICO

אַתָּ֣ה ’at·tāh you [are] GRAM DICO

שָׁ֔ם šām, where GRAM DICO

וַאֲנִ֕י wa·’ă·nî and I GRAM DICO

אֲדַבֵּ֥ר ’ă·ḏab·bêr will speak GRAM DICO

בְּךָ֖ bə·ḵā about you GRAM

אֶל־ ’el- with GRAM DICO

אָבִ֑י ’ā·ḇî; my father GRAM DICO

וְרָאִ֥יתִי wə·rā·’î·ṯî and I observe GRAM DICO

מָ֖ה māh what GRAM DICO

וְהִגַּ֥דְתִּי wə·hig·gaḏ·tî and I will tell GRAM DICO

אָבִ֑יו ’ā·ḇîw; his father GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO

אֵ֠לָיו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO

אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO

יֶחֱטָ֨א ye·ḥĕ·ṭā let sin GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO

בְּעַבְדּ֣וֹ bə·‘aḇ·dōw against his servant GRAM DICO

בְדָוִ֗ד ḇə·ḏā·wiḏ, against David GRAM DICO

–

כִּ֣י kî because GRAM DICO

ל֤וֹא lō·w not GRAM DICO

חָטָא֙ ḥā·ṭā he has sinned GRAM DICO

לָ֔ךְ lāḵ, against you GRAM

וְכִ֥י wə·ḵî and because GRAM DICO

מַעֲשָׂ֖יו ma·‘ă·śāw his works [have been] GRAM DICO

טוֹב־ ṭō·wḇ- good GRAM DICO

וַיָּשֶׂם֩ way·yā·śem For he took GRAM DICO

נַפְשׁ֨וֹ nap̄·šōw his life GRAM DICO

בְכַפּ֜וֹ ḇə·ḵap·pōw in his hands GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּ֣ךְ way·yaḵ and killed GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗י hap·pə·liš·tî, the Philistine GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ way·ya·‘aś and brought about GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֜ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

תְּשׁוּעָ֤ה tə·šū·‘āh a deliverance GRAM DICO

גְדוֹלָה֙ ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh great GRAM DICO

לְכָל־ lə·ḵāl for all GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, Israel GRAM DICO

רָאִ֖יתָ rā·’î·ṯā You saw [it] GRAM DICO

וַתִּשְׂמָ֑ח wat·tiś·māḥ; and rejoiced GRAM DICO

וְלָ֤מָּה wə·lām·māh Then why GRAM DICO

תֶֽחֱטָא֙ ṯe·ḥĕ·ṭā will you sin GRAM DICO

בְּדָ֣ם bə·ḏām against blood GRAM DICO

､

נָקִ֔י nā·qî, innocent GRAM DICO

לְהָמִ֥ית lə·hā·mîṯ to kill GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

דָּוִ֖ד dā·wiḏ David GRAM DICO

חִנָּֽם׃ ḥin·nām. without a cause GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע way·yiš·ma‘ so heeded GRAM DICO

שָׁא֖וּל šā·’ūl Saul GRAM DICO

בְּק֣וֹל bə·qō·wl the voice GRAM DICO

יְהוֹנָתָ֑ן yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān; of Jonathan GRAM DICO

וַיִּשָּׁבַ֣ע way·yiš·šā·ḇa‘ and swore GRAM DICO

､

שָׁא֔וּל šā·’ūl, Saul GRAM DICO

חַי־ ḥay- lives GRAM DICO

､

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh [As] Yahweh GRAM DICO

אִם־ ’im- not GRAM DICO

יוּמָֽת׃ yū·māṯ. he shall be killed GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְרָ֤א way·yiq·rā And called GRAM DICO

וַיַּגֶּד־ way·yag·geḏ- and told GRAM DICO

לוֹ֙ lōw him GRAM

יְה֣וֹנָתָ֔ן yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān, Jonathan GRAM DICO

אֵ֥ת ’êṯ - GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים had·də·ḇā·rîm things GRAM DICO

הָאֵ֑לֶּה hā·’êl·leh; These GRAM DICO

וַיָּבֵ֨א way·yā·ḇê so brought GRAM DICO

יְהוֹנָתָ֤ן yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān Jonathan GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

דָּוִד֙ dā·wiḏ David GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

שָׁא֔וּל šā·’ūl, Saul GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֥י way·hî and he was GRAM DICO

לְפָנָ֖יו lə·p̄ā·nāw in his presence GRAM DICO

כְּאֶתְמ֥וֹל kə·’eṯ·mō·wl as before GRAM DICO

שִׁלְשֽׁוֹם׃ šil·šō·wm. now GRAM DICO

וַתּ֥וֹסֶף wat·tō·w·sep̄ And there was again GRAM DICO

הַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה ham·mil·ḥā·māh war GRAM DICO

לִֽהְי֑וֹת lih·yō·wṯ; there was GRAM DICO

וַיֵּצֵ֨א way·yê·ṣê and went out GRAM DICO

､

דָוִ֜ד ḏā·wiḏ David GRAM DICO

וַיִּלָּ֣חֶם way·yil·lā·ḥem and fought GRAM DICO

בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗ים bap·pə·liš·tîm, with the Philistines GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּ֤ךְ way·yaḵ and struck GRAM DICO

בָּהֶם֙ bā·hem them GRAM

מַכָּ֣ה mak·kāh with a blow GRAM DICO
