I Samuel 29, 4

וַיִּקְצְפ֨וּ way·yiq·ṣə·p̄ū But were angry GRAM DICO

עָלָ֜יו ‘ā·lāw with him GRAM DICO

שָׂרֵ֣י śā·rê the princes of GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים p̄ə·liš·tîm, the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ way·yō·mə·rū so said GRAM DICO

לוֹ֩ lōw to him GRAM

שָׂרֵ֨י śā·rê the princes GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּ֜ים p̄ə·liš·tîm of the Philistines GRAM DICO

הָשֵׁ֣ב hā·šêḇ Make return GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הָאִ֗ישׁ hā·’îš, this fellow GRAM DICO

וְיָשֹׁב֙ wə·yā·šōḇ that he may go back GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

מְקוֹמוֹ֙ mə·qō·w·mōw the place GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO

הִפְקַדְתּ֣וֹ hip̄·qaḏ·tōw you have appointed for him GRAM DICO

שָׁ֔ם šām, that him GRAM DICO

וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- and not GRAM DICO

יֵרֵ֤ד yê·rêḏ do let him go down GRAM DICO

עִמָּ֙נוּ֙ ‘im·mā·nū with us GRAM DICO

בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה bam·mil·ḥā·māh, to battle GRAM DICO

､

וְלֹא־ wə·lō- and lest GRAM DICO

יִֽהְיֶה־ yih·yeh- he become GRAM DICO

לָּ֥נוּ lā·nū our GRAM

לְשָׂטָ֖ן lə·śā·ṭān adversary GRAM DICO

בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה bam·mil·ḥā·māh; in the battle GRAM DICO

וּבַמֶּ֗ה ū·ḇam·meh, for with what GRAM DICO

יִתְרַצֶּ֥ה yiṯ·raṣ·ṣeh could he reconcile GRAM DICO

זֶה֙ zeh this [one] GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

אֲדֹנָ֔יו ’ă·ḏō·nāw, his master GRAM DICO

הֲל֕וֹא hă·lō·w if not GRAM DICO

בְּרָאשֵׁ֖י bə·rā·šê with the heads of GRAM DICO

הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים hā·’ă·nā·šîm men GRAM DICO

הָהֵֽם׃ hā·hêm. those GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֧ר ’ă·šer of whom GRAM DICO

יַעֲנוּ־ ya·‘ă·nū- they sang GRAM DICO

ל֛וֹ lōw one to another GRAM

בַּמְּחֹל֖וֹת bam·mə·ḥō·lō·wṯ in dances GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹ֑ר lê·mōr; saying GRAM DICO

､

הִכָּ֤ה hik·kāh has slain GRAM DICO

שָׁאוּל֙ šā·’ūl Saul GRAM DICO

בַּֽאֲלָפָ֔יו ba·’ă·lā·p̄āw, [his] thousands GRAM DICO

､

וְדָוִ֖ד wə·ḏā·wiḏ and David GRAM DICO

[ברבבתו] bə·riḇ·ḇō·ṯōw ten thousands GRAM

(בְּרִבְבֹתָֽיו׃) bə·riḇ·ḇō·ṯāw. [his] ten thousands GRAM DICO

דָּוִ֗ד dā·wiḏ, David GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO

אֵ֠לָיו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO

חַי־ ḥay- surely [as] lives GRAM DICO

､

יְהוָ֞ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

כִּי־ kî- for GRAM DICO

יָשָׁ֣ר yā·šār have been upright GRAM DICO

､

אַתָּ֗ה ’at·tāh, you GRAM DICO

וְט֣וֹב wə·ṭō·wḇ and [is] good GRAM DICO

בְּ֠עֵינַי bə·‘ê·nay in my sight GRAM DICO

–

צֵאתְךָ֨ ṣê·ṯə·ḵā your going out GRAM DICO

וּבֹאֲךָ֤ ū·ḇō·’ă·ḵā and your coming in GRAM DICO

אִתִּי֙ ’it·tî with me GRAM DICO

בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה bam·ma·ḥă·neh, in the army GRAM DICO

כִּ֠י kî for GRAM DICO

לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

מָצָ֤אתִֽי mā·ṣā·ṯî I have found GRAM DICO

בְךָ֙ ḇə·ḵā in you GRAM

רָעָ֔ה rā·‘āh, evil GRAM DICO

מִיּ֛וֹם mî·yō·wm since the day GRAM DICO

בֹּאֲךָ֥ bō·’ă·ḵā of your coming GRAM DICO

אֵלַ֖י ’ê·lay to me GRAM DICO

עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO

הַיּ֣וֹם hay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO

הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; This GRAM DICO

וּבְעֵינֵ֥י ū·ḇə·‘ê·nê and nevertheless GRAM DICO

הַסְּרָנִ֖ים has·sə·rā·nîm the lords GRAM DICO

לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

ט֥וֹב ṭō·wḇ do favor GRAM DICO

אָֽתָּה׃ ’āt·tāh. you GRAM DICO

וְעַתָּ֥ה wə·‘at·tāh Therefore now GRAM DICO

שׁ֖וּב šūḇ return GRAM DICO

､

וְלֵ֣ךְ wə·lêḵ and go GRAM DICO

בְּשָׁל֑וֹם bə·šā·lō·wm; in peace GRAM DICO

､

וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- that not GRAM DICO

תַעֲשֶׂ֣ה ṯa·‘ă·śeh - GRAM DICO

רָ֔ע rā‘, adversity GRAM DICO

בְּעֵינֵ֖י bə·‘ê·nê you may displease GRAM DICO

סַרְנֵ֥י sar·nê the lords GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ p̄ə·liš·tîm. of the Philistines GRAM DICO

מֶ֤ה meh what GRAM DICO

עָשִׂ֙יתִי֙ ‘ā·śî·ṯî have I done GRAM DICO

וּמַה־ ū·mah- and what GRAM DICO

מָּצָ֣אתָ mā·ṣā·ṯā have you found GRAM DICO

בְעַבְדְּךָ֔ ḇə·‘aḇ·də·ḵā, in your servant GRAM DICO

מִיּוֹם֙ mî·yō·wm as long GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer as GRAM DICO

הָיִ֣יתִי hā·yî·ṯî I have been GRAM DICO

לְפָנֶ֔יךָ lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā, with you GRAM DICO

עַ֖ד ‘aḏ to GRAM DICO

הַיּ֣וֹם hay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO

､

הַזֶּ֑ה haz·zeh; this GRAM DICO

כִּ֣י kî that GRAM DICO

לֹ֤א lō not GRAM DICO

אָבוֹא֙ ’ā·ḇō·w I may go GRAM DICO

וְנִלְחַ֔מְתִּי wə·nil·ḥam·tî, and fight GRAM DICO

בְּאֹיְבֵ֖י bə·’ō·yə·ḇê against the enemies GRAM DICO

אֲדֹנִ֥י ’ă·ḏō·nî of my lord GRAM DICO

הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ ham·me·leḵ. the king GRAM DICO
