Néhémie 2, 3
וָאֹמַ֣ר wā·’ō·mar And said GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֔לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ, to the king GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
לְעוֹלָ֣ם lə·‘ō·w·lām forever GRAM DICO
.
יִחְיֶ֑ה yiḥ·yeh; May live GRAM DICO
מַדּ֜וּעַ mad·dū·a‘ why GRAM DICO
לֹא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
יֵרְע֣וּ yê·rə·‘ū should be sad GRAM DICO
､
פָנַ֗י p̄ā·nay, my face GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer when GRAM DICO
הָעִ֜יר hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO
､
בֵּית־ bêṯ- the place GRAM DICO
קִבְר֤וֹת qiḇ·rō·wṯ of tombs GRAM DICO
､
אֲבֹתַי֙ ’ă·ḇō·ṯay my fathers' GRAM DICO
חֲרֵבָ֔ה ḥă·rê·ḇāh, [lies] waste GRAM DICO
וּשְׁעָרֶ֖יהָ ū·šə·‘ā·re·hā and its gates GRAM DICO
אֻכְּל֥וּ ’uk·kə·lū are burned GRAM DICO
בָאֵֽשׁ׃ ḇā·’êš. with fire GRAM DICO

לִי֙ lî to me GRAM
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
מַה־ mah- what GRAM DICO
זֶּ֖ה zeh [is] this [that] GRAM DICO
אַתָּ֣ה ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO
מְבַקֵּ֑שׁ mə·ḇaq·qêš; request GRAM DICO
؟
וָֽאֶתְפַּלֵּ֔ל wā·’eṯ·pal·lêl, so I prayed GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֖י ’ĕ·lō·hê the God GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ haš·šā·mā·yim. of heaven GRAM DICO

ט֔וֹב ṭō·wḇ, it pleases GRAM DICO
וְאִם־ wə·’im- and if GRAM DICO
יִיטַ֥ב yî·ṭaḇ has found favor GRAM DICO
עַבְדְּךָ֖ ‘aḇ·də·ḵā your servant GRAM DICO
לְפָנֶ֑יךָ lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā; in your sight GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֧ר ’ă·šer I ask that GRAM DICO
תִּשְׁלָחֵ֣נִי tiš·lā·ḥê·nî you send me GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֗ה yə·hū·ḏāh, Judah GRAM DICO
､
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
עִ֛יר ‘îr the city GRAM DICO
קִבְר֥וֹת qiḇ·rō·wṯ of tombs GRAM DICO
､
אֲבֹתַ֖י ’ă·ḇō·ṯay my fathers' GRAM DICO
וְאֶבְנֶֽנָּה׃ wə·’eḇ·nen·nāh. that I may rebuild it GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמֶר֩ way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
לִ֨י lî to me GRAM
הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
וְהַשֵּׁגַ֣ל ׀ wə·haš·šê·ḡal and the queen GRAM DICO
יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת yō·wō·še·ḇeṯ sitting GRAM DICO
אֶצְל֗וֹ ’eṣ·lōw, beside him GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- even to GRAM DICO
מָתַ֛י mā·ṯay how long GRAM DICO
יִהְיֶ֥ה yih·yeh will be GRAM DICO
؟
מַֽהֲלָכֲךָ֖ ma·hă·lā·ḵă·ḵā your journey GRAM DICO
וּמָתַ֣י ū·mā·ṯay and when GRAM DICO
תָּשׁ֑וּב tā·šūḇ; will you return GRAM DICO
؟
וַיִּיטַ֤ב way·yî·ṭaḇ so it pleased GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵֽי־ lip̄·nê- accept GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
וַיִּשְׁלָחֵ֔נִי way·yiš·lā·ḥê·nî, and to send me GRAM DICO
וָֽאֶתְּנָ֥ה wā·’et·tə·nāh and I set GRAM DICO
ל֖וֹ lōw him GRAM
זְמָֽן׃ zə·mān. a time GRAM DICO

וָאוֹמַר֮ wā·’ō·w·mar And Furthermore I said GRAM DICO
לַמֶּלֶךְ֒ lam·me·leḵ to the king GRAM DICO
､
אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
､
ט֔וֹב ṭō·wḇ, it pleases GRAM DICO
אִגְּרוֹת֙ ’ig·gə·rō·wṯ let letters GRAM DICO
יִתְּנוּ־ yit·tə·nū- be given GRAM DICO
לִ֔י lî, to me GRAM
עַֽל־ ‘al- for GRAM DICO
פַּחֲו֖וֹת pa·ḥă·wō·wṯ the governors [of the region] GRAM DICO
עֵ֣בֶר ‘ê·ḇer beyond GRAM DICO
הַנָּהָ֑ר han·nā·hār; the River GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁר֙ ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
יַעֲבִיר֔וּנִי ya·‘ă·ḇî·rū·nî, they must permit me to pass through GRAM DICO
עַ֥ד ‘aḏ until GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- till GRAM DICO
אָב֖וֹא ’ā·ḇō·w I come GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָֽה׃ yə·hū·ḏāh. Judah GRAM DICO

וְאִגֶּ֡רֶת wə·’ig·ge·reṯ and a letter GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
אָסָף֩ ’ā·sāp̄ Asaph GRAM DICO
שֹׁמֵ֨ר šō·mêr the keeper GRAM DICO
הַפַּרְדֵּ֜ס hap·par·dês forest GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֗לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
יִתֶּן־ yit·ten- he must give GRAM DICO
לִ֣י lî me GRAM
עֵצִ֡ים ‘ê·ṣîm timber GRAM DICO
לְ֠קָרוֹת lə·qā·rō·wṯ to make beams GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ- for GRAM DICO
שַׁעֲרֵ֨י ša·‘ă·rê the gates GRAM DICO
הַבִּירָ֤ה hab·bî·rāh of the citadel GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which [pertains] GRAM DICO
לַבַּ֙יִת֙ lab·ba·yiṯ to the temple GRAM DICO
､
וּלְחוֹמַ֣ת ū·lə·ḥō·w·maṯ for the wall GRAM DICO
הָעִ֔יר hā·‘îr, city GRAM DICO
､
וְלַבַּ֖יִת wə·lab·ba·yiṯ for the house GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO
אָב֣וֹא ’ā·ḇō·w I will occupy GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֑יו ’ê·lāw; into GRAM DICO
.
וַיִּתֶּן־ way·yit·ten- And granted [them] GRAM DICO
לִ֣י lî to me GRAM
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
כְּיַד־ kə·yaḏ- according to hand GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהַ֖י ’ĕ·lō·hay of my God GRAM DICO
הַטּוֹבָ֥ה haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh the good GRAM DICO
עָלָֽי׃ ‘ā·lāy. upon me GRAM DICO
