כָּל־ kāl- All GRAM DICO
אֵ֜לֶּה ’êl·leh these GRAM DICO
אַנְשֵׁ֣י ’an·šê men GRAM DICO
מִלְחָמָה֮ mil·ḥā·māh of war GRAM DICO
､
עֹדְרֵ֣י ‘ō·ḏə·rê who could keep GRAM DICO
מַעֲרָכָה֒ ma·‘ă·rā·ḵāh ranks GRAM DICO
､
בְּלֵבָ֤ב bə·lê·ḇāḇ with a heart GRAM DICO
שָׁלֵם֙ šā·lêm loyal GRAM DICO
בָּ֣אוּ bā·’ū came GRAM DICO
חֶבְר֔וֹנָה ḥeḇ·rō·w·nāh, to Hebron GRAM DICO
､
לְהַמְלִ֥יךְ lə·ham·lîḵ to make king GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM
דָּוִ֖יד dā·wîḏ David GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO
–
וְ֠גַם wə·ḡam and GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
שֵׁרִ֧ית šê·rîṯ the rest GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
לֵ֥ב lêḇ [were] of mind GRAM DICO
אֶחָ֖ד ’e·ḥāḏ one GRAM DICO
לְהַמְלִ֥יךְ lə·ham·lîḵ to make king GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM
דָּוִֽיד׃ dā·wîḏ. David GRAM DICO

וַיִּהְיוּ־ way·yih·yū- And they were GRAM DICO
שָׁ֤ם šām there GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
דָּוִיד֙ dā·wîḏ David GRAM DICO
､
יָמִ֣ים yā·mîm days GRAM DICO
שְׁלוֹשָׁ֔ה šə·lō·wō·šāh, three GRAM DICO
אֹכְלִ֖ים ’ō·ḵə·lîm eating GRAM DICO
–
וְשׁוֹתִ֑ים wə·šō·w·ṯîm; and drinking for GRAM
כִּֽי־ kî- had prepared GRAM DICO
הֵכִ֥ינוּ hê·ḵî·nū for them GRAM
לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem their brothers GRAM DICO
אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ ’ă·ḥê·hem. Moreover GRAM
וְגַ֣ם wə·ḡam and GRAM DICO
הַקְּרֽוֹבִים־ haq·qə·rō·w·ḇîm- those who were near to them GRAM
אֲ֠לֵיהֶם ’ă·lê·hem from as far away as GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- Issachar GRAM DICO
יִשָׂשכָ֨ר yi·śā·š·ḵār and Zebulun GRAM DICO
וּזְבֻל֜וּן ū·zə·ḇu·lūn and Naphtali GRAM DICO
､
וְנַפְתָּלִ֗י wə·nap̄·tā·lî, and were bringing GRAM DICO
מְבִיאִ֣ים mə·ḇî·’îm food GRAM DICO
לֶ֡חֶם le·ḥem on donkeys GRAM DICO
､
בַּחֲמוֹרִ֣ים ba·ḥă·mō·w·rîm and camels GRAM DICO
､
וּבַגְּמַלִּ֣ים ū·ḇag·gə·mal·lîm and on mules GRAM DICO
､
וּבַפְּרָדִ֣ים ׀ ū·ḇap·pə·rā·ḏîm and oxen GRAM DICO
､
וּֽבַבָּקָ֡ר ū·ḇab·bā·qār and provisions of GRAM DICO
､
מַאֲכָ֡ל ma·’ă·ḵāl flour GRAM DICO
､
קֶ֠מַח qe·maḥ  -  GRAM DICO
דְּבֵלִ֨ים də·ḇê·lîm and cakes of figs GRAM DICO
､
וְצִמּוּקִ֧ים wə·ṣim·mū·qîm and GRAM DICO
וְיַֽיִן־ wə·ya·yin- cakes of raisins GRAM DICO
､
וְשֶׁ֛מֶן wə·še·men and wine GRAM DICO
､
וּבָקָ֥ר ū·ḇā·qār and oil GRAM DICO
､
וְצֹ֖אן wə·ṣōn and oxen GRAM DICO
､
לָרֹ֑ב lā·rōḇ; and sheep GRAM DICO
כִּ֥י kî abundantly for GRAM DICO
שִׂמְחָ֖ה śim·ḥāh [there was] joy GRAM DICO
בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ bə·yiś·rā·’êl. in Israel GRAM DICO

וַיִּוָּעַ֣ץ way·yiw·wā·‘aṣ And consulted GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֗יד dā·wîḏ, David GRAM DICO

שָׂרֵ֧י śā·rê the captains GRAM DICO
הָאֲלָפִ֛ים hā·’ă·lā·p̄îm of thousands GRAM DICO
וְהַמֵּא֖וֹת wə·ham·mê·’ō·wṯ and hundreds GRAM DICO
､
לְכָל־ lə·ḵāl [and] with every GRAM DICO
נָגִֽיד׃ nā·ḡîḏ. leader GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֜יד dā·wîḏ David GRAM DICO
לְכֹ֣ל ׀ lə·ḵōl to all GRAM DICO
קְהַ֣ל qə·hal the assembly GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO
､
אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO
עֲלֵיכֶ֨ם ‘ă·lê·ḵem to you GRAM DICO
ט֜וֹב ṭō·wḇ [it seems] good GRAM DICO
וּמִן־ ū·min- and if it is GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū, our God GRAM DICO
､
נִפְרְצָה֙ nip̄·rə·ṣāh everywhere GRAM DICO
נִשְׁלְחָ֞ה niš·lə·ḥāh let us send out GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- to GRAM DICO
אַחֵ֣ינוּ ’a·ḥê·nū our brothers GRAM DICO
הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֗ים han·niš·’ā·rîm, [who are] left GRAM DICO
בְּכֹל֙ bə·ḵōl in all GRAM DICO
אַרְצ֣וֹת ’ar·ṣō·wṯ the land GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO
､
וְעִמָּהֶ֛ם wə·‘im·mā·hem and with them GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים hak·kō·hă·nîm to the priests GRAM DICO
וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם wə·hal·wî·yim and Levites [who are] GRAM DICO
בְּעָרֵ֣י bə·‘ā·rê in their cities GRAM DICO
מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם miḡ·rə·šê·hem; [and] their common-lands GRAM DICO
､
וְיִקָּבְצ֖וּ wə·yiq·qā·ḇə·ṣū that they may gather together GRAM DICO
אֵלֵֽינוּ׃ ’ê·lê·nū. to us GRAM DICO

וְנָסֵ֛בָּה wə·nā·sêb·bāh And let us bring back GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
אֲר֥וֹן ’ă·rō·wn the ark GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū of our God GRAM DICO
אֵלֵ֑ינוּ ’ê·lê·nū; to us GRAM DICO
כִּי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO
דְרַשְׁנֻ֖הוּ ḏə·raš·nu·hū we have inquired at it GRAM DICO
בִּימֵ֥י bî·mê since the days GRAM DICO
שָׁאֽוּל׃ šā·’ūl. of Saul GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ way·yō·mə·rū And said GRAM DICO
כָֽל־ ḵāl all GRAM DICO
הַקָּהָ֖ל haq·qā·hāl the assembly GRAM DICO
לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת la·‘ă·śō·wṯ that they would do GRAM DICO
כֵּ֑ן kên; so GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
יָשַׁ֥ר yā·šar was right GRAM DICO
הַדָּבָ֖ר had·dā·ḇār the thing GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֵ֥י bə·‘ê·nê in the eyes GRAM DICO
כָל־ ḵāl of all GRAM DICO
הָעָֽם׃ hā·‘ām. the people GRAM DICO
