וַיִּתֵּן֩ way·yit·tên And gave GRAM DICO
יְהוֹיָדָ֨ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵ֜ן hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO
לְשָׂרֵ֣י lə·śā·rê to the captains GRAM DICO
הַמֵּא֗וֹת ham·mê·’ō·wṯ, of hundreds GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַֽחֲנִיתִים֙ ha·ḥă·nî·ṯîm the spears GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַמָּגִנּוֹת֙ ham·mā·ḡin·nō·wṯ the large GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁלָטִ֔ים haš·šə·lā·ṭîm, small shields GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֖ר ’ă·šer which [had belonged] GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ to King GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֑יד dā·wîḏ; David GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֖ר ’ă·šer that [were] GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ in the temple GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm. of God GRAM DICO

וַיַּעֲמֵ֨ד way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ And he set GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָעָ֜ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
､
וְאִ֣ישׁ ׀ wə·’îš and every man GRAM DICO
שִׁלְח֣וֹ šil·ḥōw with his weapon GRAM DICO
בְיָד֗וֹ ḇə·yā·ḏōw, in his hand GRAM DICO
､
מִכֶּ֨תֶף mik·ke·ṯep̄ from side GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֤יִת hab·ba·yiṯ of the temple GRAM DICO
הַיְמָנִית֙ hay·mā·nîṯ the right GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- to GRAM DICO
כֶּ֤תֶף ke·ṯep̄ side GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֙יִת֙ hab·ba·yiṯ of the temple GRAM DICO
､
הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔ית haś·śə·mā·lîṯ, the left GRAM DICO
לַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ lam·miz·bê·aḥ along by the altar GRAM DICO
וְלַבָּ֑יִת wə·lab·bā·yiṯ; and by the temple GRAM DICO
､
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
סָבִֽיב׃ sā·ḇîḇ. all around GRAM DICO

וַיּוֹצִ֣יאוּ way·yō·w·ṣî·’ū And they brought out GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO
וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ way·yit·tə·nū and put GRAM DICO
עָלָיו֙ ‘ā·lāw on him GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַנֵּ֙זֶר֙ han·nê·zer the crown GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הָ֣עֵד֔וּת hā·‘ê·ḏūṯ, [gave [him] the Testimony GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּמְלִ֖יכוּ way·yam·lî·ḵū and made king GRAM DICO
אֹת֑וֹ ’ō·ṯōw; him GRAM DICO
וַיִּמְשָׁחֻ֙הוּ֙ way·yim·šā·ḥu·hū and anointed him GRAM DICO
יְהוֹיָדָ֣ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO
וּבָנָ֔יו ū·ḇā·nāw, and his sons GRAM DICO
וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ way·yō·mə·rū and said GRAM DICO
､
יְחִ֥י yə·ḥî [Long] live GRAM DICO
הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ ham·me·leḵ. the king GRAM DICO

עֲתַלְיָ֗הוּ ‘ă·ṯal·yā·hū, Athaliah GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
ק֤וֹל qō·wl the noise GRAM DICO
הָעָם֙ hā·‘ām of the people GRAM DICO
הָֽרָצִ֔ים hā·rā·ṣîm, running GRAM DICO
וְהַֽמְהַֽלְלִ֖ים wə·ham·hal·lîm and praising GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ; the king GRAM DICO
､
וַתָּב֥וֹא wat·tā·ḇō·w and she came GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
הָעָ֖ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ [in] the temple GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַתֵּ֡רֶא wat·tê·re and when she looked GRAM DICO
､
וְהִנֵּ֣ה wə·hin·nêh and there was GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּלֶךְ֩ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
עוֹמֵ֨ד ‘ō·w·mêḏ standing GRAM DICO
עַֽל־ ‘al- by GRAM DICO
עַמּוּד֜וֹ ‘am·mū·ḏōw his pillar GRAM DICO
בַּמָּב֗וֹא bam·mā·ḇō·w, at the entrance GRAM DICO
､
וְהַשָּׂרִ֣ים wə·haś·śā·rîm and the leaders GRAM DICO
וְהַחֲצֹצְרוֹת֮ wə·ha·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ and the trumpeters [were] GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- by GRAM DICO
הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl And all GRAM DICO
עַ֨ם ‘am the people GRAM DICO
הָאָ֜רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ of the land GRAM DICO
שָׂמֵ֗חַ śā·mê·aḥ, were rejoicing GRAM DICO
וְתוֹקֵ֙עַ֙ wə·ṯō·w·qê·a‘ and blowing GRAM DICO
בַּחֲצֹ֣צְר֔וֹת ba·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ, trumpets GRAM DICO
､
וְהַמְשֽׁוֹרֲרִים֙ wə·ham·šō·w·ră·rîm and the singers GRAM DICO
בִּכְלֵ֣י biḵ·lê with instruments GRAM DICO
הַשִּׁ֔יר haš·šîr, musical GRAM DICO
､
וּמוֹדִיעִ֖ים ū·mō·w·ḏî·‘îm and those who led GRAM DICO
לְהַלֵּ֑ל lə·hal·lêl; in praise GRAM DICO
.
וַתִּקְרַ֤ע wat·tiq·ra‘ So tore GRAM DICO
עֲתַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ ‘ă·ṯal·yā·hū Athaliah GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בְּגָדֶ֔יהָ bə·ḡā·ḏe·hā, her clothes GRAM DICO
､
וַתֹּ֖אמֶר wat·tō·mer and said GRAM DICO
､
קֶ֥שֶׁר qe·šer Treason GRAM DICO
､
קָֽשֶׁר׃ qā·šer. Treason GRAM DICO

שָׂרֵ֥י śā·rê the captains GRAM DICO
הַמֵּא֣וֹת ׀ ham·mê·’ō·wṯ of hundreds GRAM DICO
פְּקוּדֵ֣י pə·qū·ḏê who were set over GRAM DICO
הַחַ֗יִל ha·ḥa·yil, the army GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer and said GRAM DICO
אֲלֵהֶם֙ ’ă·lê·hem to them GRAM DICO
הֽוֹצִיא֙וּהָ֙ hō·w·ṣî·’ū·hā take her outside GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
–
מִבֵּ֣ית mib·bêṯ under GRAM DICO
הַשְּׂדֵר֔וֹת haś·śə·ḏê·rō·wṯ, guard GRAM DICO
וְהַבָּ֥א wə·hab·bā and whoever follows GRAM DICO
אַחֲרֶ֖יהָ ’a·ḥă·re·hā her GRAM DICO
יוּמַ֣ת yū·maṯ slay GRAM DICO
בֶּחָ֑רֶב be·ḥā·reḇ; with the sword GRAM DICO

כִּ֚י kî For GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar had said GRAM DICO
､
הַכֹּהֵ֔ן hak·kō·hên, the priest GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO
תְמִית֖וּהָ ṯə·mî·ṯū·hā do kill her GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ in the house of GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO
