וַיָּסֹ֙בּוּ֙ way·yā·sōb·bū And they went throughout GRAM DICO

בִּֽיהוּדָ֔ה bî·hū·ḏāh, Judah GRAM DICO

､

וַיִּקְבְּצ֤וּ way·yiq·bə·ṣū and gathered GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הַלְוִיִּם֙ hal·wî·yim the Levites GRAM DICO

מִכָּל־ mik·kāl from all GRAM DICO

עָרֵ֣י ‘ā·rê the cities GRAM DICO

יְהוּדָ֔ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO

､

וְרָאשֵׁ֥י wə·rā·šê and chief GRAM DICO

הָאָב֖וֹת hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ the fathers GRAM DICO

לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל lə·yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO

､

וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ way·yā·ḇō·’ū and they came GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ yə·rū·šā·lim. Jerusalem GRAM DICO

II Chroniques 23, 3

וַיִּכְרֹ֨ת way·yiḵ·rōṯ And made GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

הַקָּהָ֥ל haq·qā·hāl the assembly GRAM DICO

בְּרִ֛ית bə·rîṯ a covenant GRAM DICO

בְּבֵ֥ית bə·ḇêṯ in the house GRAM DICO

הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm of God GRAM DICO

עִם־ ‘im- With GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ; the king GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer and he said GRAM DICO

לָהֶ֗ם lā·hem, to them GRAM DICO

הִנֵּ֤ה hin·nêh behold GRAM DICO

､

בֶן־ ḇen- son GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ of the king GRAM DICO

יִמְלֹ֔ךְ yim·lōḵ, shall reign GRAM DICO

､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO

דִּבֶּ֥ר dib·ber has said GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- of GRAM DICO

בְּנֵ֥י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO

דָוִֽיד׃ ḏā·wîḏ. of David GRAM DICO

II Chroniques 23, 4

זֶ֥ה zeh This [is] GRAM DICO

הַדָּבָ֖ר had·dā·ḇār the thing GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer what GRAM DICO

תַּעֲשׂ֑וּ ta·‘ă·śū; you shall do GRAM DICO

–

הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֨ית haš·šə·li·šîṯ a third GRAM DICO

מִכֶּ֜ם mik·kem of you GRAM DICO

בָּאֵ֣י bā·’ê entering GRAM DICO

הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת haš·šab·bāṯ, on the Sabbath GRAM DICO

､

לַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ lak·kō·hă·nîm of the priests GRAM DICO

וְלַלְוִיִּ֔ם wə·lal·wî·yim, and the Levites GRAM DICO

､

לְשֹֽׁעֲרֵ֖י lə·šō·‘ă·rê [shall be] keeping watch over GRAM DICO

הַסִּפִּֽים׃ has·sip·pîm. the doors GRAM DICO

וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ wə·haš·šə·li·šîṯ and a third [shall be] GRAM DICO

בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ at house GRAM DICO

–

הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, of the king GRAM DICO

וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖ית wə·haš·šə·li·šîṯ and a third GRAM DICO

בְּשַׁ֣עַר bə·ša·‘ar at the Gate GRAM DICO

הַיְס֑וֹד hay·sō·wḏ; of the Foundation GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO

הָעָ֔ם hā·‘ām, the people [shall be] GRAM DICO

בְּחַצְר֖וֹת bə·ḥaṣ·rō·wṯ in the courts GRAM DICO

בֵּ֥ית bêṯ of the house GRAM DICO

יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְאַל־ wə·’al- But no one GRAM DICO

יָב֣וֹא yā·ḇō·w let come GRAM DICO

בֵית־ ḇêṯ- into the house GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

כִּ֤י kî except GRAM DICO

אִם־ ’im- except GRAM DICO

הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ hak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO

､

וְהַמְשָׁרְתִ֣ים wə·ham·šā·rə·ṯîm and those who serve GRAM DICO

לַלְוִיִּ֔ם lal·wî·yim, of the Levites GRAM DICO

–

הֵ֥מָּה hêm·māh they GRAM DICO

יָבֹ֖אוּ yā·ḇō·’ū may go in GRAM DICO

､

כִּי־ kî- for GRAM DICO

קֹ֣דֶשׁ qō·ḏeš holy GRAM DICO

הֵ֑מָּה hêm·māh; They [are] GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl but all GRAM DICO

הָעָ֔ם hā·‘ām, the people GRAM DICO

יִשְׁמְר֖וּ yiš·mə·rū shall keep GRAM DICO

מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת miš·me·reṯ the watch GRAM DICO

יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

II Chroniques 23, 7

וְהִקִּיפוּ֩ wə·hiq·qî·p̄ū And shall surround GRAM DICO

הַלְוִיִּ֨ם hal·wî·yim the Levites GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO

סָבִ֗יב sā·ḇîḇ, on all sides GRAM DICO

､

אִ֚ישׁ ’îš every man GRAM DICO

וְכֵלָ֣יו wə·ḵê·lāw and with his weapons GRAM DICO

בְּיָד֔וֹ bə·yā·ḏōw, in his hand GRAM DICO

–

וְהַבָּ֥א wə·hab·bā and whoever comes GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- into GRAM DICO

הַבַּ֖יִת hab·ba·yiṯ the house GRAM DICO

､

יוּמָ֑ת yū·māṯ; let him be put to death GRAM DICO

וִֽהְי֥וּ wih·yū You are to be GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- with GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO

בְּבֹא֥וֹ bə·ḇō·’ōw when he comes in GRAM DICO

､

וּבְצֵאתֽוֹ׃ ū·ḇə·ṣê·ṯōw. and when he goes out GRAM DICO

וַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּ way·ya·‘ă·śū So did GRAM DICO

הַלְוִיִּ֜ם hal·wî·yim the Levites GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO

יְהוּדָ֗ה yə·hū·ḏāh, Judah GRAM DICO

כְּכֹ֣ל kə·ḵōl according to all GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- that GRAM DICO

צִוָּה֮ ṣiw·wāh commanded GRAM DICO

､

יְהוֹיָדָ֣ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO

הַכֹּהֵן֒ hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְחוּ֙ way·yiq·ḥū and took GRAM DICO

אִ֣ישׁ ’îš each man GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

אֲנָשָׁ֔יו ’ă·nā·šāw, his men GRAM DICO

בָּאֵ֣י bā·’ê who were to be on duty GRAM DICO

הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת haš·šab·bāṯ, on the Sabbath GRAM DICO

､

עִ֖ם ‘im with GRAM DICO

יוֹצְאֵ֣י yō·wṣ·’ê those who were going [off duty] GRAM DICO

הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת haš·šab·bāṯ; on the Sabbath GRAM DICO

､

כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO

לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO

פָטַ֛ר p̄ā·ṭar had dismissed GRAM DICO

יְהוֹיָדָ֥ע yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ Jehoiada GRAM DICO

הַכֹּהֵ֖ן hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הַֽמַּחְלְקֽוֹת׃ ham·maḥ·lə·qō·wṯ. the divisions GRAM DICO
