וַיְנַגַּ֨ע way·nag·ga‘ And struck GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֜ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
וַיְהִ֤י way·hî so that he was GRAM DICO
מְצֹרָע֙ mə·ṣō·rā‘ a leper GRAM DICO
עַד־ ‘aḏ- until GRAM DICO
י֣וֹם yō·wm the day GRAM DICO
מֹת֔וֹ mō·ṯōw, of his death GRAM DICO
､
וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב way·yê·šeḇ so he dwelt GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ in an house GRAM DICO

הַחָפְשִׁ֑ית ha·ḥā·p̄ə·šîṯ; Isolated GRAM DICO
וְיוֹתָ֤ם wə·yō·w·ṯām and Jotham [was] GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ of the king GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
הַבַּ֔יִת hab·ba·yiṯ, the [royal] house GRAM DICO
､
שֹׁפֵ֖ט šō·p̄êṭ judging GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עַ֥ם ‘am the people GRAM DICO
הָאָֽרֶץ׃ hā·’ā·reṣ. of the land GRAM DICO

דִּבְרֵ֥י diḇ·rê of the acts GRAM DICO
עֲזַרְיָ֖הוּ ‘ă·zar·yā·hū of Azariah GRAM DICO
､
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
עָשָׂ֑ה ‘ā·śāh; he did GRAM DICO
､
הֲלֹא־ hă·lō- [are] not GRAM DICO
הֵ֣ם hêm they GRAM DICO
כְּתוּבִ֗ים kə·ṯū·ḇîm, written GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- in GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב way·yiš·kaḇ so rested GRAM DICO
עֲזַרְיָה֙ ‘ă·zar·yāh Azariah GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתָ֔יו ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw, his fathers GRAM DICO
–
וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ way·yiq·bə·rū and they buried GRAM DICO
אֹת֛וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתָ֖יו ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw his fathers GRAM DICO
בְּעִ֣יר bə·‘îr in the City GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֑ד dā·wiḏ; of David GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ way·yim·lōḵ and reigned GRAM DICO
יוֹתָ֥ם yō·w·ṯām Jotham GRAM DICO
בְּנ֖וֹ bə·nōw his son GRAM DICO
תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ taḥ·tāw. in his place GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO
בְּשֹׁמְר֖וֹן bə·šō·mə·rō·wn in Samaria GRAM DICO
שִׁשָּׁ֥ה šiš·šāh six GRAM DICO
חֳדָשִֽׁים׃ ḥo·ḏā·šîm. months GRAM DICO

בְּעֵינֵ֣י bə·‘ê·nê in the sight GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO
עָשׂ֖וּ ‘ā·śū had done GRAM DICO
–
אֲבֹתָ֑יו ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw; his fathers GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
סָ֗ר sār, he did depart GRAM DICO
מֵֽחַטֹּאות֙ mê·ḥaṭ·ṭō·wṯ from the sins GRAM DICO
יָרָבְעָ֣ם yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām of Jeroboam GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
נְבָ֔ט nə·ḇāṭ, of Nebat GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer who GRAM DICO
הֶחֱטִ֖יא he·ḥĕ·ṭî had made sin GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. Israel GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְשֹׁ֤ר way·yiq·šōr And conspired GRAM DICO
עָלָיו֙ ‘ā·lāw against him GRAM DICO
שַׁלֻּ֣ם šal·lum Shallum GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
יָבֵ֔שׁ yā·ḇêš, of Jabesh GRAM DICO
וַיַּכֵּ֥הוּ way·yak·kê·hū and struck GRAM DICO
קָֽבָלְ־ qā·ḇā·lə·‘ām in front of GRAM DICO
עָ֖ם ‘am the people GRAM DICO
､
וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ way·mî·ṯê·hū; and killed him GRAM DICO
וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ way·yim·lōḵ and he reigned GRAM DICO
תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ taḥ·tāw. in his place GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
דִּבֶּ֤ר dib·ber He spoke GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
יֵהוּא֙ yê·hū Jehu GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹ֔ר lê·mōr, saying GRAM DICO
､
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê sons to GRAM DICO
רְבִיעִ֔ים rə·ḇî·‘îm, the fourth [generation] GRAM DICO
יֵשְׁב֥וּ yê·šə·ḇū shall sit GRAM DICO
לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā Your GRAM
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
כִּסֵּ֣א kis·sê the throne GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
וַֽיְהִי־ way·hî- and it was GRAM DICO
כֵֽן׃ ḵên. so GRAM DICO
