וַיַּ֥רְא way·yar And when saw GRAM DICO

נֹשֵֽׂא־ nō·śê- bearer GRAM DICO

יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- who [were] GRAM DICO

בְּעֵ֨בֶר bə·‘ê·ḇer on the other side GRAM DICO

הָעֵ֜מֶק hā·‘ê·meq of the valley GRAM DICO

､

וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ wa·’ă·šer and [those] who [were] GRAM DICO

בְּעֵ֣בֶר bə·‘ê·ḇer on the other side GRAM DICO

הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן hay·yar·dên, of the Jordan GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO

נָ֙סוּ֙ nā·sū had fled GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO

וַיַּעַזְב֤וּ way·ya·‘az·ḇū and they forsook GRAM DICO

הֶֽעָרִים֙ he·‘ā·rîm the cities GRAM DICO

､

וַיָּנֻ֔סוּ way·yā·nu·sū, and fled GRAM DICO

וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ way·yā·ḇō·’ū and came GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים p̄ə·liš·tîm, the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ way·yê·šə·ḇū and dwelt GRAM DICO

בָּהֶֽן׃ bā·hen. in them GRAM

לְפַשֵּׁ֖ט lə·p̄aš·šêṭ to strip GRAM DICO

הַחֲלָלִ֑ים ha·ḥă·lā·lîm; the slain GRAM DICO

､

וַֽיִּמְצְא֤וּ way·yim·ṣə·’ū that they found GRAM DICO

שָׁאוּל֙ šā·’ūl Saul GRAM DICO

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO

שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת šə·lō·šeṯ three GRAM DICO

בָּנָ֔יו bā·nāw, his sons GRAM DICO

נֹפְלִ֖ים nō·p̄ə·lîm fallen GRAM DICO

בְּהַ֥ר bə·har on Mount GRAM DICO

הַגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃ hag·gil·bō·a‘. Gilboa GRAM DICO

וַֽיִּכְרְתוּ֙ way·yiḵ·rə·ṯū And they cut off GRAM DICO

רֹאשׁ֔וֹ rō·šōw, his head GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּפְשִׁ֖יטוּ way·yap̄·šî·ṭū and stripped off GRAM DICO

כֵּלָ֑יו kê·lāw; his armor GRAM DICO

､

וַיְשַׁלְּח֨וּ way·šal·lə·ḥū and sent [word] GRAM DICO

בְאֶֽרֶץ־ ḇə·’e·reṣ- throughout the land GRAM DICO

פְּלִשְׁתִּ֜ים pə·liš·tîm of the Philistines GRAM DICO

סָבִ֗יב sā·ḇîḇ, around GRAM DICO

､

לְבַשֵּׂ֛ר lə·ḇaś·śêr to proclaim [it] GRAM DICO

בֵּ֥ית bêṯ [in] the temple GRAM DICO

עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֖ם ‘ă·ṣab·bê·hem of their idols GRAM DICO

､

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and among GRAM DICO

הָעָֽם׃ hā·‘ām. the people GRAM DICO

וַיָּשִׂ֙מוּ֙ way·yā·śi·mū And they put GRAM DICO

כֵּלָ֔יו kê·lāw, his armor GRAM DICO

בֵּ֖ית bêṯ in the temple of GRAM DICO

גְּוִיָּתוֹ֙ gə·wî·yā·ṯōw his body GRAM DICO

בְּחוֹמַ֖ת bə·ḥō·w·maṯ to the wall GRAM DICO

וַיֵּלְכ֣וּ way·yê·lə·ḵū and traveled GRAM DICO

הַלַּיְלָה֒ hal·lay·lāh night GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְח֞וּ way·yiq·ḥū and took GRAM DICO
