פְּלֵטִ֣ים pə·lê·ṭîm You who have escaped GRAM DICO
מֵחֶ֔רֶב mê·ḥe·reḇ, the sword GRAM DICO
､
הִלְכ֖וּ hil·ḵū Get away GRAM DICO
､
אַֽל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
תַּעֲמֹ֑דוּ ta·‘ă·mō·ḏū; do stand still GRAM DICO
!
זִכְר֤וּ ziḵ·rū Remember GRAM DICO
מֵֽרָחוֹק֙ mê·rā·ḥō·wq afar off GRAM DICO
､
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
וִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם wî·rū·šā·lim and Jerusalem GRAM DICO
תַּעֲלֶ֥ה ta·‘ă·leh let come GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- to GRAM DICO
לְבַבְכֶֽם׃ lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem. your mind GRAM DICO

בֹּ֚שְׁנוּ bō·šə·nū We are ashamed GRAM DICO
､
כִּֽי־ kî- because GRAM DICO
שָׁמַ֣עְנוּ šā·ma‘·nū we have heard GRAM DICO
חֶרְפָּ֔ה ḥer·pāh, reproach GRAM DICO
–
כִּסְּתָ֥ה kis·sə·ṯāh has covered GRAM DICO
כְלִמָּ֖ה ḵə·lim·māh Shame GRAM DICO
פָּנֵ֑ינוּ pā·nê·nū; our faces GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֚י kî for GRAM DICO
בָּ֣אוּ bā·’ū have come GRAM DICO
זָרִ֔ים zā·rîm, strangers GRAM DICO
עַֽל־ ‘al- into GRAM DICO
מִקְדְּשֵׁ֖י miq·də·šê the sanctuaries GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ of the house GRAM DICO

הִנֵּֽה־ hin·nêh- behold GRAM DICO

יָמִ֤ים yā·mîm the days GRAM DICO
בָּאִים֙ bā·’îm are coming GRAM DICO
､
נְאֻם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וּפָקַדְתִּ֖י ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî that I will bring judgment GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
פְּסִילֶ֑יהָ pə·sî·le·hā; her carved images GRAM DICO
､
וּבְכָל־ ū·ḇə·ḵāl and throughout all GRAM DICO
אַרְצָ֖הּ ’ar·ṣāh her land GRAM DICO
יֶאֱנֹ֥ק ye·’ĕ·nōq shall groan GRAM DICO
חָלָֽל׃ ḥā·lāl. the wounded GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- Though GRAM DICO
תַעֲלֶ֤ה ṯa·‘ă·leh were to mount up GRAM DICO
בָבֶל֙ ḇā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם haš·šā·ma·yim, to heaven GRAM DICO
､
וְכִ֥י wə·ḵî and though GRAM DICO
תְבַצֵּ֖ר ṯə·ḇaṣ·ṣêr she were to fortify GRAM DICO
מְר֣וֹם mə·rō·wm the height GRAM DICO
עֻזָּ֑הּ ‘uz·zāh; of her strength GRAM DICO
､
מֵאִתִּ֗י mê·’it·tî, [Yet] from Me GRAM DICO
יָבֹ֧אוּ yā·ḇō·’ū would come GRAM DICO
שֹׁדְדִ֛ים šō·ḏə·ḏîm plunderers GRAM DICO
לָ֖הּ lāh to her GRAM
נְאֻם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

זְעָקָ֖ה zə·‘ā·qāh of a cry GRAM DICO
מִבָּבֶ֑ל mib·bā·ḇel; [comes] from Babylon GRAM DICO
וְשֶׁ֥בֶר wə·še·ḇer and destruction GRAM DICO
גָּד֖וֹל gā·ḏō·wl great GRAM DICO
מֵאֶ֥רֶץ mê·’e·reṣ from the land GRAM DICO
כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ kaś·dîm. of the Chaldeans GRAM DICO

שֹׁדֵ֤ד šō·ḏêḏ is plundering GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

בָּבֶ֔ל bā·ḇel, Babylon GRAM DICO
､
וְאִבַּ֥ד wə·’ib·baḏ and silencing GRAM DICO
מִמֶּ֖נָּה mim·men·nāh her GRAM DICO
ק֣וֹל qō·wl voice GRAM DICO
–
גָּד֑וֹל gā·ḏō·wl; loud GRAM DICO
וְהָמ֤וּ wə·hā·mū and Though roar GRAM DICO
גַלֵּיהֶם֙ ḡal·lê·hem her waves GRAM DICO
כְּמַ֣יִם kə·ma·yim like waters GRAM DICO
､
רַבִּ֔ים rab·bîm, great GRAM DICO
נִתַּ֥ן nit·tan and is uttered GRAM DICO
–
שְׁא֖וֹן šə·’ō·wn the noise GRAM DICO
קוֹלָֽם׃ qō·w·lām. of their voice GRAM DICO

כִּי֩ kî Because GRAM DICO
בָ֨א ḇā comes GRAM DICO
עָלֶ֤יהָ ‘ā·le·hā against her GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO
בָּבֶל֙ bā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
､
שׁוֹדֵ֔ד šō·w·ḏêḏ, the plunderer GRAM DICO
וְנִלְכְּדוּ֙ wə·nil·kə·ḏū and are taken GRAM DICO
､
גִּבּוֹרֶ֔יהָ gib·bō·w·re·hā, her mighty men GRAM DICO
חִתְּתָ֖ה ḥit·tə·ṯāh is broken GRAM DICO
–
קַשְּׁתוֹתָ֑ם qaš·šə·ṯō·w·ṯām; every one of their bows GRAM DICO
כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO
אֵ֧ל ’êl the God GRAM DICO
גְּמֻל֛וֹת gə·mu·lō·wṯ of recompense GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh [is] GRAM DICO
שַׁלֵּ֥ם šal·lêm surely GRAM DICO
יְשַׁלֵּֽם׃ yə·šal·lêm. He will repay GRAM DICO

וְ֠הִשְׁכַּרְתִּי wə·hiš·kar·tî And I will make drunk GRAM DICO
שָׂרֶ֨יהָ śā·re·hā Her princes GRAM DICO
､
וַחֲכָמֶ֜יהָ wa·ḥă·ḵā·me·hā and wise men GRAM DICO
פַּחוֹתֶ֤יהָ pa·ḥō·w·ṯe·hā Her governors GRAM DICO
､
וּסְגָנֶ֙יהָ֙ ū·sə·ḡā·ne·hā and her deputies GRAM DICO
､
וְגִבּוֹרֶ֔יהָ wə·ḡib·bō·w·re·hā, and her mighty men GRAM DICO
–
וְיָשְׁנ֥וּ wə·yā·šə·nū and they shall sleep GRAM DICO
שְׁנַת־ šə·naṯ- a sleep GRAM DICO
､
עוֹלָ֖ם ‘ō·w·lām perpetual GRAM DICO
וְלֹ֣א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO
יָקִ֑יצוּ yā·qî·ṣū; awake GRAM DICO
､
נְאֻ֨ם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the King GRAM DICO
､
יְהוָ֥ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
צְבָא֖וֹת ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ of hosts GRAM DICO
שְׁמֽוֹ׃ šə·mōw. Whose name [is] GRAM DICO
