אֵ֚יךְ ’êḵ Oh how GRAM DICO
נִלְכְּדָ֣ה nil·kə·ḏāh is taken GRAM DICO
!
שֵׁשַׁ֔ךְ šê·šaḵ, Sheshach GRAM DICO
וַתִּתָּפֵ֖שׂ wat·tit·tā·p̄êś and Oh how is seized GRAM DICO
!
תְּהִלַּ֣ת tə·hil·laṯ the praise GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- of all GRAM DICO
הָאָ֑רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ; the earth GRAM DICO
אֵ֣יךְ ’êḵ how GRAM DICO
הָיְתָ֧ה hā·yə·ṯāh has become GRAM DICO
לְשַׁמָּ֛ה lə·šam·māh desolate GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֖ל bā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ bag·gō·w·yim. among the nations GRAM DICO

עָלָ֥ה ‘ā·lāh has come up GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֖ל bā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
–
הַיָּ֑ם hay·yām; the sea GRAM DICO
בַּהֲמ֥וֹן ba·hă·mō·wn with the multitude GRAM DICO
גַּלָּ֖יו gal·lāw of its waves GRAM DICO
נִכְסָֽתָה׃ niḵ·sā·ṯāh. she is covered GRAM DICO

הָי֤וּ hā·yū Are GRAM DICO
עָרֶ֙יהָ֙ ‘ā·re·hā Her cities GRAM DICO
לְשַׁמָּ֔ה lə·šam·māh, a desolation GRAM DICO
､
אֶ֖רֶץ ’e·reṣ land GRAM DICO
､
צִיָּ֣ה ṣî·yāh a dry GRAM DICO
וַעֲרָבָ֑ה wa·‘ă·rā·ḇāh; and a wilderness GRAM DICO
､
אֶ֗רֶץ ’e·reṣ, a land GRAM DICO
לֹֽא־ lō- no GRAM DICO
יֵשֵׁ֤ב yê·šêḇ dwells GRAM DICO
､
בָּהֵן֙ bā·hên where GRAM
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
אִ֔ישׁ ’îš, one GRAM DICO
וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- and no GRAM DICO
יַעֲבֹ֥ר ya·‘ă·ḇōr passes GRAM DICO
בָּהֵ֖ן bā·hên Through which GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
אָדָֽם׃ ’ā·ḏām. of man GRAM DICO

וּפָקַדְתִּ֨י ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî And I will punish GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
בֵּ֜ל bêl Bel GRAM DICO
בְּבָבֶ֗ל bə·ḇā·ḇel, in Babylon GRAM DICO
､
וְהֹצֵאתִ֤י wə·hō·ṣê·ṯî and I will bring out GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בִּלְעוֹ֙ bil·‘ōw what he has swallowed GRAM DICO
–
מִפִּ֔יו mip·pîw, of his mouth GRAM DICO
וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- and not GRAM DICO
יִנְהֲר֥וּ yin·hă·rū shall stream GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֛יו ’ê·lāw to him GRAM DICO
ע֖וֹד ‘ō·wḏ anymore GRAM DICO
גּוֹיִ֑ם gō·w·yim; the nations GRAM DICO
גַּם־ gam- Yes GRAM DICO
､
חוֹמַ֥ת ḥō·w·maṯ the wall GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֖ל bā·ḇel of Babylon GRAM DICO
נָפָֽלָה׃ nā·p̄ā·lāh. shall fall GRAM DICO

צְא֤וּ ṣə·’ū Go GRAM DICO
מִתּוֹכָהּ֙ mit·tō·w·ḵāh out of the midst of her GRAM DICO
עַמִּ֔י ‘am·mî, My people GRAM DICO
､
וּמַלְּט֖וּ ū·mal·lə·ṭū and let deliver GRAM DICO
אִ֣ישׁ ’îš everyone GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
נַפְשׁ֑וֹ nap̄·šōw; himself GRAM DICO
מֵחֲר֖וֹן mê·ḥă·rō·wn from fierce GRAM DICO
אַף־ ’ap̄- the anger GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וּפֶן־ ū·p̄en- And lest GRAM DICO
יֵרַ֤ךְ yê·raḵ faint GRAM DICO
､
לְבַבְכֶם֙ lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem your heart GRAM DICO
וְתִֽירְא֔וּ wə·ṯî·rə·’ū, and you fear GRAM DICO
בַּשְּׁמוּעָ֖ה baš·šə·mū·‘āh for the rumor GRAM DICO
הַנִּשְׁמַ֣עַת han·niš·ma·‘aṯ that [will be] heard GRAM DICO
בָּאָ֑רֶץ bā·’ā·reṣ; in the land GRAM DICO
–
וּבָ֧א ū·ḇā and will come GRAM DICO
בַשָּׁנָ֣ה ḇaš·šā·nāh [one] year GRAM DICO
､
הַשְּׁמוּעָ֗ה haš·šə·mū·‘āh, a rumor GRAM DICO
וְאַחֲרָ֤יו wə·’a·ḥă·rāw and after that GRAM DICO
בַּשָּׁנָה֙ baš·šā·nāh in [another] year GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁמוּעָ֔ה haš·šə·mū·‘āh, a rumor [will come] GRAM DICO
､
וְחָמָ֣ס wə·ḥā·mās and violence GRAM DICO
בָּאָ֔רֶץ bā·’ā·reṣ, in the land GRAM DICO
､
וּמֹשֵׁ֖ל ū·mō·šêl and Ruler GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO
מֹשֵֽׁל׃ mō·šêl. ruler GRAM DICO

לָכֵן֙ lā·ḵên Therefore GRAM DICO
､
הִנֵּ֣ה hin·nêh behold GRAM DICO
､
יָמִ֣ים yā·mîm the days GRAM DICO
בָּאִ֔ים bā·’îm, are coming GRAM DICO
､
וּפָקַדְתִּי֙ ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî that I will bring judgment GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
פְּסִילֵ֣י pə·sî·lê the carved images GRAM DICO
בָבֶ֔ל ḇā·ḇel, of Babylon GRAM DICO
–
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and whole GRAM DICO
אַרְצָ֖הּ ’ar·ṣāh Her land GRAM DICO
תֵּב֑וֹשׁ tê·ḇō·wōš; shall be ashamed GRAM DICO
､
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
חֲלָלֶ֖יהָ ḥă·lā·le·hā her slain GRAM DICO
יִפְּל֥וּ yip·pə·lū shall fall GRAM DICO
בְתוֹכָֽהּ׃ ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵāh. in her midst GRAM DICO

וְרִנְּנ֤וּ wə·rin·nə·nū And shall sing joyously GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- over GRAM DICO
בָּבֶל֙ bā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
､
שָׁמַ֣יִם šā·ma·yim the heavens GRAM DICO
וָאָ֔רֶץ wā·’ā·reṣ, and the earth GRAM DICO
､
וְכֹ֖ל wə·ḵōl and all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer that [is] GRAM DICO
בָּהֶ֑ם bā·hem; in them GRAM
כִּ֧י kî for GRAM DICO
מִצָּפ֛וֹן miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn from the north GRAM DICO
､
יָבוֹא־ yā·ḇō·w- shall come GRAM DICO
לָ֥הּ lāh to her GRAM
הַשּׁוֹדְדִ֖ים haš·šō·wḏ·ḏîm the plunderers GRAM DICO
נְאֻם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

בָּבֶ֕ל bā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
לִנְפֹּ֖ל lin·pōl [has caused] to fall GRAM DICO
､
חַֽלְלֵ֣י ḥal·lê the slain GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
גַּם־ gam- so GRAM DICO
לְבָבֶ֥ל lə·ḇā·ḇel at Babylon GRAM DICO
נָפְל֖וּ nā·p̄ə·lū shall fall GRAM DICO
חַֽלְלֵ֥י ḥal·lê the slain GRAM DICO
כָל־ ḵāl of all GRAM DICO
הָאָֽרֶץ׃ hā·’ā·reṣ. the earth GRAM DICO
