וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר wa·’ă·šer That GRAM DICO
יַשְׁמִ֗יעוּ yaš·mî·‘ū, they should announce GRAM DICO
וְיַעֲבִ֨ירוּ wə·ya·‘ă·ḇî·rū and proclaim GRAM DICO
ק֥וֹל qō·wl a proclamation GRAM DICO
בְּכָל־ bə·ḵāl in all GRAM DICO
עָרֵיהֶם֮ ‘ā·rê·hem their cities GRAM DICO

וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֣ם ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim and in Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹר֒ lê·mōr saying GRAM DICO
､
צְא֣וּ ṣə·’ū go out GRAM DICO
הָהָ֗ר hā·hār, to the mountain GRAM DICO
､
וְהָבִ֙יאוּ֙ wə·hā·ḇî·’ū and bring GRAM DICO
עֲלֵי־ ‘ă·lê- branches GRAM DICO
､
זַ֙יִת֙ za·yiṯ olive GRAM DICO
וַעֲלֵי־ wa·‘ă·lê- and branches GRAM DICO
､
עֵ֣ץ ‘êṣ of GRAM DICO
שֶׁ֔מֶן še·men, oil trees GRAM DICO
וַעֲלֵ֤י wa·‘ă·lê and branches GRAM DICO
､
הֲדַס֙ hă·ḏas myrtle GRAM DICO
וַעֲלֵ֣י wa·‘ă·lê and branches GRAM DICO
､
תְמָרִ֔ים ṯə·mā·rîm, palm GRAM DICO
וַעֲלֵ֖י wa·‘ă·lê and branches GRAM DICO
עֵ֣ץ ‘êṣ of trees GRAM DICO
､
עָבֹ֑ת ‘ā·ḇōṯ; leafy GRAM DICO
לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת la·‘ă·śōṯ to make GRAM DICO
סֻכֹּ֖ת suk·kōṯ booths GRAM DICO
､
כַּכָּתֽוּב׃ kak·kā·ṯūḇ. as [it is] written GRAM DICO

גַּגּוֹ֙ gag·gōw the roof of his house GRAM DICO
､
וּבְחַצְרֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם ū·ḇə·ḥaṣ·rō·ṯê·hem, or in their courtyards GRAM DICO
､
וּבְחַצְר֖וֹת ū·ḇə·ḥaṣ·rō·wṯ or the courts GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ of the house GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm; of God GRAM DICO
､
וּבִרְחוֹב֙ ū·ḇir·ḥō·wḇ and in the open square GRAM DICO
שַׁ֣עַר ša·‘ar of Gate GRAM DICO
､
הַמַּ֔יִם ham·ma·yim, the Water GRAM DICO
וּבִרְח֖וֹב ū·ḇir·ḥō·wḇ and in the open square GRAM DICO
שַׁ֥עַר ša·‘ar of the Gate GRAM DICO

הַשְּׁבִ֥י ׀ haš·šə·ḇî the captivity GRAM DICO
סֻכּוֹת֮ suk·kō·wṯ booths GRAM DICO

וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ way·yê·šə·ḇū and sat GRAM DICO
בַסֻּכּוֹת֒ ḇas·suk·kō·wṯ under the booths GRAM DICO
–
כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO
לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
עָשׂ֡וּ ‘ā·śū had done GRAM DICO
מִימֵי֩ mî·mê since the days GRAM DICO
יֵשׁ֨וּעַ yê·šū·a‘ of Joshua GRAM DICO
בִּן־ bin- the son GRAM DICO
נ֥וּן nūn of Nun GRAM DICO
כֵּן֙ kên so GRAM DICO

בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê The sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO
עַ֖ד ‘aḏ until GRAM DICO
הַיּ֣וֹם hay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO
הַה֑וּא ha·hū; that GRAM DICO
וַתְּהִ֥י wat·tə·hî and there was GRAM DICO
שִׂמְחָ֖ה śim·ḥāh gladness GRAM DICO
גְּדוֹלָ֥ה gə·ḏō·w·lāh great GRAM DICO
מְאֹֽד׃ mə·’ōḏ. very GRAM DICO

חָג֙ ḥāḡ the feast GRAM DICO
שִׁבְעַ֣ת šiḇ·‘aṯ seven GRAM DICO
יָמִ֔ים yā·mîm, days GRAM DICO

וּבַיּ֧וֹם ū·ḇay·yō·wm and on the day GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁמִינִ֛י haš·šə·mî·nî eighth GRAM DICO
עֲצֶ֖רֶת ‘ă·ṣe·reṯ [there was] a sacred assembly GRAM DICO
､
כַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ kam·miš·pāṭ. according to the [prescribed] manner GRAM DICO

וּבְשַׂקִּ֔ים ū·ḇə·śaq·qîm, and in sackcloth GRAM DICO
､
וַאֲדָמָ֖ה wa·’ă·ḏā·māh and with dust GRAM DICO
עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ‘ă·lê·hem. on their heads GRAM DICO

וַיִּבָּֽדְלוּ֙ way·yib·bā·ḏə·lū And separated themselves GRAM DICO
זֶ֣רַע ze·ra‘ the seed GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, Israel GRAM DICO
מִכֹּ֖ל mik·kōl from all GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê strangers GRAM DICO
נֵכָ֑ר nê·ḵār; foreigners GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּעַמְד֗וּ way·ya·‘am·ḏū, and they stood GRAM DICO
וַיִּתְוַדּוּ֙ way·yiṯ·wad·dū and confessed GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
חַטֹּ֣אתֵיהֶ֔ם ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·hem, their sins GRAM DICO
､
וַעֲוֺנ֖וֹת wa·‘ă·wō·nō·wṯ and the iniquities GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem. of their fathers GRAM DICO
