וְהָיָה֩ wə·hā·yāh And it shall be GRAM DICO

לְךָ֨ lə·ḵā to you GRAM

לְא֜וֹת lə·’ō·wṯ as a sign GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO

יָדְךָ֗ yā·ḏə·ḵā, your hand GRAM DICO

וּלְזִכָּרוֹן֙ ū·lə·zik·kā·rō·wn and as a memorial GRAM DICO

עֵינֶ֔יךָ ‘ê·ne·ḵā, your eyes GRAM DICO

לְמַ֗עַן lə·ma·‘an, that GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO

בְּפִ֑יךָ bə·p̄î·ḵā; in your mouth GRAM DICO

כִּ֚י kî for GRAM DICO

בְּיָ֣ד bə·yāḏ with a hand GRAM DICO

חֲזָקָ֔ה ḥă·zā·qāh, mighty GRAM DICO

הוֹצִֽאֲךָ֥ hō·w·ṣi·’ă·ḵā has brought you GRAM DICO

יְהֹוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ mim·miṣ·rā·yim. out of Egypt GRAM DICO

Exode 13, 10

וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֛ wə·šā·mar·tā Therefore You shall keep GRAM DICO

הַחֻקָּ֥ה ha·ḥuq·qāh ordinance GRAM DICO

הַזֹּ֖את haz·zōṯ this GRAM DICO

לְמוֹעֲדָ֑הּ lə·mō·w·‘ă·ḏāh; in its season GRAM DICO

מִיָּמִ֖ים mî·yā·mîm from year GRAM DICO

יָמִֽימָה׃ yā·mî·māh. to year GRAM DICO

נִשְׁבַּ֥ע niš·ba‘ He swore GRAM DICO

לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā to you GRAM

וְלַֽאֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ wə·la·’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā; and your fathers GRAM DICO

וּנְתָנָ֖הּ ū·nə·ṯā·nāh and gives it GRAM DICO

לָֽךְ׃ lāḵ. to you GRAM

Exode 13, 12

וְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ wə·ha·‘ă·ḇar·tā That you shall set apart GRAM DICO

כָל־ ḵāl all GRAM DICO

פֶּֽטֶר־ pe·ṭer- that open GRAM DICO

רֶ֖חֶם re·ḥem the womb GRAM DICO

לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה Yah·weh; to Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl that is every GRAM DICO

פֶּ֣טֶר ׀ pe·ṭer firstborn GRAM DICO

שֶׁ֣גֶר še·ḡer that comes from GRAM DICO

בְּהֵמָ֗ה bə·hê·māh, an animal GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO

יִהְיֶ֥ה yih·yeh have GRAM DICO

לְךָ֛ lə·ḵā you GRAM

הַזְּכָרִ֖ים haz·zə·ḵā·rîm the males GRAM DICO

לַיהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. [shall be] Yahweh GRAM DICO

Exode 13, 13

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl But every GRAM DICO

פֶּ֤טֶר pe·ṭer firstborn GRAM DICO

חֲמֹר֙ ḥă·mōr of a donkey GRAM DICO

תִּפְדֶּ֣ה tip̄·deh you shall redeem GRAM DICO

בְשֶׂ֔ה ḇə·śeh, with a lamb GRAM DICO

–

וְאִם־ wə·’im- and if GRAM DICO

לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO

תִפְדֶּ֖ה ṯip̄·deh you will redeem [it] GRAM DICO

､

וַעֲרַפְתּ֑וֹ wa·‘ă·rap̄·tōw; then you shall break its neck GRAM DICO

–

וְכֹ֨ל wə·ḵōl and all GRAM DICO

בְּכ֥וֹר bə·ḵō·wr the firstborn GRAM DICO

אָדָ֛ם ’ā·ḏām of man GRAM DICO

בְּבָנֶ֖יךָ bə·ḇā·ne·ḵā among your sons GRAM DICO

תִּפְדֶּֽה׃ tip̄·deh. you shall redeem GRAM DICO

Exode 13, 14

וְהָיָ֞ה wə·hā·yāh So it shall be GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- when GRAM DICO

יִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ yiš·’ā·lə·ḵā asks you GRAM DICO

בִנְךָ֛ ḇin·ḵā your son GRAM DICO

מָחָ֖ר mā·ḥār in time to come GRAM DICO

､

לֵאמֹ֣ר lê·mōr saying GRAM DICO

､

מַה־ mah- what GRAM DICO

זֹּ֑את zōṯ; [is] this GRAM DICO

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ wə·’ā·mar·tā that you shall say GRAM DICO

אֵלָ֔יו ’ê·lāw, to him GRAM DICO

､

בְּחֹ֣זֶק bə·ḥō·zeq by strength GRAM DICO

יָ֗ד yāḏ, of hand GRAM DICO

הוֹצִיאָ֧נוּ hō·w·ṣî·’ā·nū brought us GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם mim·miṣ·ra·yim out of Egypt GRAM DICO

מִבֵּ֥ית mib·bêṯ out of the house GRAM DICO

עֲבָדִֽים׃ ‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm. of bondage GRAM DICO

Exode 13, 15

וַיְהִ֗י way·hî, And it came to pass GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- when GRAM DICO

הִקְשָׁ֣ה hiq·šāh was stubborn GRAM DICO

פַרְעֹה֮ p̄ar·‘ōh Pharaoh GRAM DICO

לְשַׁלְּחֵנוּ֒ lə·šal·lə·ḥê·nū about letting us go GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּהֲרֹ֨ג way·ya·hă·rōḡ that killed GRAM DICO

יְהֹוָ֤ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

בְּכוֹר֙ bə·ḵō·wr the firstborn GRAM DICO

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ bə·’e·reṣ in the land GRAM DICO

מִצְרַ֔יִם miṣ·ra·yim, of Egypt GRAM DICO

､

מִבְּכֹ֥ר mib·bə·ḵōr from the firstborn GRAM DICO

אָדָ֖ם ’ā·ḏām of man GRAM DICO

､

וְעַד־ wə·‘aḏ- and to GRAM DICO

בְּכ֣וֹר bə·ḵō·wr the firstborn GRAM DICO

בְּהֵמָ֑ה bə·hê·māh; of beast GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- Upon GRAM DICO

כֵּן֩ kên thus GRAM DICO

אֲנִ֨י ’ă·nî I GRAM DICO

זֹבֵ֜חַ zō·ḇê·aḥ sacrifice GRAM DICO

לַֽיהוָ֗ה Yah·weh to Yahweh GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

פֶּ֤טֶר pe·ṭer that open GRAM DICO

רֶ֙חֶם֙ re·ḥem the womb GRAM DICO

הַזְּכָרִ֔ים haz·zə·ḵā·rîm, males GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl but all GRAM DICO

בְּכ֥וֹר bə·ḵō·wr the firstborn GRAM DICO

בָּנַ֖י bā·nay of my sons GRAM DICO

אֶפְדֶּֽה׃ ’ep̄·deh. I redeem GRAM DICO
