וַיִּ֣חַדְּ way·yi·ḥad And rejoiced GRAM DICO

יִתְר֔וֹ yiṯ·rōw, Jethro GRAM DICO

עַ֚ל ‘al for GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

הַטּוֹבָ֔ה haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh, the good GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- which GRAM DICO

עָשָׂ֥ה ‘ā·śāh had done GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל lə·yiś·rā·’êl; for Israel GRAM DICO

מִיַּ֥ד mî·yaḏ out of the hand GRAM DICO

מִצְרַ֖יִם miṣ·ra·yim of Egypt GRAM DICO

וּמִיַּ֣ד ū·mî·yaḏ and out of the hand GRAM DICO

פַּרְעֹ֑ה par·‘ōh; of Pharaoh GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֤ר ’ă·šer [and] who GRAM DICO

הִצִּיל֙ hiṣ·ṣîl has delivered GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

הָעָ֔ם hā·‘ām, the people GRAM DICO

מִתַּ֖חַת mit·ta·ḥaṯ from under GRAM DICO

יַד־ yaḏ- the hand GRAM DICO

מִצְרָֽיִם׃ miṣ·rā·yim. of Egypt GRAM DICO

Exode 18, 11

עַתָּ֣ה ‘at·tāh Now GRAM DICO

יָדַ֔עְתִּי yā·ḏa‘·tî, I know GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO

גָד֥וֹל ḡā·ḏō·wl [is] greater GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

מִכָּל־ mik·kāl than all GRAM DICO

הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm; the gods GRAM DICO

–

כִּ֣י kî for GRAM DICO

בַדָּבָ֔ר ḇad·dā·ḇār, in the very thing GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer in which GRAM DICO

זָד֖וּ zā·ḏū they behaved proudly GRAM DICO

עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ‘ă·lê·hem. [He was] above them GRAM DICO

Exode 18, 12

וַיִּקַּ֞ח way·yiq·qaḥ And took GRAM DICO

יִתְר֨וֹ yiṯ·rōw Jethro GRAM DICO

､

חֹתֵ֥ן ḥō·ṯên father-in-law GRAM DICO

מֹשֶׁ֛ה mō·šeh Moses' GRAM DICO

､

עֹלָ֥ה ‘ō·lāh a burnt offering GRAM DICO

וּזְבָחִ֖ים ū·zə·ḇā·ḥîm and [other] sacrifices [to offer] GRAM DICO

לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים lê·lō·hîm; to God GRAM DICO

וַיָּבֹ֨א way·yā·ḇō and came GRAM DICO

אַהֲרֹ֜ן ’a·hă·rōn Aaron GRAM DICO

וְכֹ֣ל ׀ wə·ḵōl and with all GRAM DICO

זִקְנֵ֣י ziq·nê the elders GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO

､

לֶאֱכָל־ le·’ĕ·ḵāl- to eat GRAM DICO

לֶ֛חֶם le·ḥem bread GRAM DICO

עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO

חֹתֵ֥ן ḥō·ṯên father-in-law GRAM DICO

מֹשֶׁ֖ה mō·šeh Moses' GRAM DICO

לִפְנֵ֥י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO

הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm. God GRAM DICO

Exode 18, 13

וַיְהִי֙ way·hî And so it was GRAM DICO

מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת mim·mā·ḥo·rāṯ, on the next day GRAM DICO

הָעָ֑ם hā·‘ām; the people GRAM DICO

וַיַּעֲמֹ֤ד way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ and stood GRAM DICO

הָעָם֙ hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- before GRAM DICO

מֹשֶׁ֔ה mō·šeh, Moses GRAM DICO

מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO

הַבֹּ֖קֶר hab·bō·qer morning GRAM DICO

עַד־ ‘aḏ- until GRAM DICO

הָעָֽרֶב׃ hā·‘ā·reḇ. evening GRAM DICO

מָֽה־ māh- what [is] GRAM DICO

הַדָּבָ֤ר had·dā·ḇār thing GRAM DICO

הַזֶּה֙ haz·zeh this GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO

אַתָּ֤ה ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO

עֹשֶׂה֙ ‘ō·śeh are doing GRAM DICO

לָעָ֔ם lā·‘ām, for the people GRAM DICO

מַדּ֗וּעַ mad·dū·a‘, why GRAM DICO

אַתָּ֤ה ’at·tāh you GRAM DICO

יוֹשֵׁב֙ yō·wō·šêḇ do sit GRAM DICO

לְבַדֶּ֔ךָ lə·ḇad·de·ḵā, alone GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO

הָעָ֛ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
