וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl And all GRAM DICO
הָעָם֩ hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
רֹאִ֨ים rō·’îm witnessed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַקּוֹלֹ֜ת haq·qō·w·lōṯ the thunderings GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַלַּפִּידִ֗ם hal·lap·pî·ḏim, the lightning flashes GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵת֙ wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
ק֣וֹל qō·wl the sound GRAM DICO
הַשֹּׁפָ֔ר haš·šō·p̄ār, of the trumpet GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הָהָ֖ר hā·hār the mountain GRAM DICO
עָשֵׁ֑ן ‘ā·šên; smoking GRAM DICO
–
וַיַּ֤רְא way·yar and when saw [it] GRAM DICO
הָעָם֙ hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּנֻ֔עוּ way·yā·nu·‘ū, and they trembled GRAM DICO
וַיַּֽעַמְד֖וּ way·ya·‘am·ḏū and stood GRAM DICO
מֵֽרָחֹֽק׃ mê·rā·ḥōq. afar off GRAM DICO

וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ way·yō·mə·rū And they said GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
מֹשֶׁ֔ה mō·šeh, Moses GRAM DICO
､
דַּבֵּר־ dab·bêr- speak GRAM DICO
אַתָּ֥ה ’at·tāh You GRAM DICO
עִמָּ֖נוּ ‘im·mā·nū with us GRAM DICO
､
וְנִשְׁמָ֑עָה wə·niš·mā·‘āh; and we will hear GRAM DICO
.
וְאַל־ wə·’al- But not GRAM DICO
יְדַבֵּ֥ר yə·ḏab·bêr let speak GRAM DICO
עִמָּ֛נוּ ‘im·mā·nū with us GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִ֖ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm God GRAM DICO
､
פֶּן־ pen- lest GRAM DICO
נָמֽוּת׃ nā·mūṯ. we die GRAM DICO

תִּירָאוּ֒ tî·rā·’ū do fear GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֗י kî, for GRAM DICO
לְבַֽעֲבוּר֙ lə·ḇa·‘ă·ḇūr to GRAM DICO
נַסּ֣וֹת nas·sō·wṯ test GRAM DICO
אֶתְכֶ֔ם ’eṯ·ḵem, you GRAM DICO
בָּ֖א bā has come GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm; God GRAM DICO
וּבַעֲב֗וּר ū·ḇa·‘ă·ḇūr, that GRAM DICO
תִּהְיֶ֧ה tih·yeh may be GRAM DICO
יִרְאָת֛וֹ yir·’ā·ṯōw His fear GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- before GRAM DICO
פְּנֵיכֶ֖ם pə·nê·ḵem you GRAM DICO
､
לְבִלְתִּ֥י lə·ḇil·tî so that not GRAM DICO
תֶחֱטָֽאוּ׃ ṯe·ḥĕ·ṭā·’ū. you may sin GRAM DICO

Exode 20, 21
וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ So stood GRAM DICO
הָעָ֖ם hā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
מֵרָחֹ֑ק mê·rā·ḥōq; afar off GRAM DICO
､
וּמֹשֶׁה֙ ū·mō·šeh but Moses GRAM DICO
נִגַּ֣שׁ nig·gaš drew near GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- unto GRAM DICO
הָֽעֲרָפֶ֔ל hā·‘ă·rā·p̄el, the thick darkness GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- there GRAM DICO
שָׁ֖ם šām there [was] GRAM DICO
הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm. God GRAM DICO

､
כֹּ֥ה kōh thus GRAM DICO
תֹאמַ֖ר ṯō·mar you shall say GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
､
אַתֶּ֣ם ’at·tem You GRAM DICO
רְאִיתֶ֔ם rə·’î·ṯem, have seen GRAM DICO
כִּ֚י kî that GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם haš·šā·ma·yim, heaven GRAM DICO
דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי dib·bar·tî I have talked GRAM DICO
עִמָּכֶֽם׃ ‘im·mā·ḵem. with you GRAM DICO

לֹ֥א lō Not GRAM DICO
תַעֲשׂ֖וּן ṯa·‘ă·śūn You shall make [anything to be] GRAM DICO
אִתִּ֑י ’it·tî; with Me GRAM DICO
אֱלֹ֤הֵי ’ĕ·lō·hê gods GRAM DICO
כֶ֙סֶף֙ ḵe·sep̄ of silver GRAM DICO
､
וֵאלֹהֵ֣י wê·lō·hê or gods GRAM DICO
זָהָ֔ב zā·hāḇ, of gold GRAM DICO
לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO
תַעֲשׂ֖וּ ṯa·‘ă·śū shall you make GRAM DICO
לָכֶֽם׃ lā·ḵem. for yourselves GRAM

מִזְבַּ֣ח miz·baḥ An altar GRAM DICO
אֲדָמָה֮ ’ă·ḏā·māh of earth GRAM DICO
תַּעֲשֶׂה־ ta·‘ă·śeh- you shall make GRAM DICO
לִּי֒ lî for Me GRAM
､
וְזָבַחְתָּ֣ wə·zā·ḇaḥ·tā and you shall sacrifice GRAM DICO
עָלָ֗יו ‘ā·lāw, on it GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עֹלֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ ‘ō·lō·ṯe·ḵā your burnt offerings GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
שְׁלָמֶ֔יךָ šə·lā·me·ḵā, your peace offerings GRAM DICO
､
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
צֹֽאנְךָ֖ ṣō·nə·ḵā your sheep GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
בְּקָרֶ֑ךָ bə·qā·re·ḵā; your oxen GRAM DICO
–
בְּכָל־ bə·ḵāl in every GRAM DICO
הַמָּקוֹם֙ ham·mā·qō·wm place GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer where GRAM DICO
אַזְכִּ֣יר ’az·kîr I record GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
שְׁמִ֔י šə·mî, My name GRAM DICO
､
אָב֥וֹא ’ā·ḇō·w I will come GRAM DICO
אֵלֶ֖יךָ ’ê·le·ḵā to you GRAM DICO
וּבֵרַכְתִּֽיךָ׃ ū·ḇê·raḵ·tî·ḵā. and I will bless you GRAM DICO

וְאִם־ wə·’im- And if GRAM DICO
מִזְבַּ֤ח miz·baḥ an altar GRAM DICO
אֲבָנִים֙ ’ă·ḇā·nîm of stone GRAM DICO
תַּֽעֲשֶׂה־ ta·‘ă·śeh- you make GRAM DICO
לִּ֔י lî, Me GRAM
､
לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
תִבְנֶ֥ה ṯiḇ·neh you shall build GRAM DICO
אֶתְהֶ֖ן ’eṯ·hen it GRAM DICO
גָּזִ֑ית gā·zîṯ; of hewn stone GRAM DICO
–
כִּ֧י kî for GRAM DICO
חַרְבְּךָ֛ ḥar·bə·ḵā your tool GRAM DICO
הֵנַ֥פְתָּ hê·nap̄·tā if you use GRAM DICO
עָלֶ֖יהָ ‘ā·le·hā on it GRAM DICO
וַתְּחַֽלְלֶֽהָ׃ wat·tə·ḥal·le·hā. and you have profaned it GRAM DICO
