Exode 21, 9

וְאִם־ wə·’im- And if GRAM DICO

לִבְנ֖וֹ liḇ·nōw to his son GRAM DICO

יִֽיעָדֶ֑נָּה yî·‘ā·ḏen·nāh; he has betrothed her GRAM DICO

､

כְּמִשְׁפַּ֥ט kə·miš·paṭ according to the custom GRAM DICO

הַבָּנ֖וֹת hab·bā·nō·wṯ of daughters GRAM DICO

יַעֲשֶׂה־ ya·‘ă·śeh- he shall deal GRAM DICO

לָּֽהּ׃ lāh. with her GRAM

Exode 21, 10

אִם־ ’im- If GRAM DICO

אַחֶ֖רֶת ’a·ḥe·reṯ another [wife] GRAM DICO

יִֽקַּֽח־ yiq·qaḥ- he takes GRAM DICO

ל֑וֹ lōw; to him GRAM

､

שְׁאֵרָ֛הּ šə·’ê·rāh her food GRAM DICO

､

כְּסוּתָ֥הּ kə·sū·ṯāh her clothing GRAM DICO

､

וְעֹנָתָ֖הּ wə·‘ō·nā·ṯāh and her marriage rights GRAM DICO

､

לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO

יִגְרָֽע׃ yiḡ·rā‘. he shall diminish GRAM DICO

וְאִם־ wə·’im- And if GRAM DICO

שְׁלָ֨שׁ־ šə·lāš- three GRAM DICO

אֵ֔לֶּה ’êl·leh, these GRAM DICO

לֹ֥א lō not GRAM DICO

יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה ya·‘ă·śeh he does do GRAM DICO

לָ֑הּ lāh; for her GRAM

､

וְיָצְאָ֥ה wə·yā·ṣə·’āh then she shall go out GRAM DICO

חִנָּ֖ם ḥin·nām free GRAM DICO

אֵ֥ין ’ên without GRAM DICO

כָּֽסֶף׃ kā·sep̄. [paying] money GRAM DICO

מַכֵּ֥ה mak·kêh He who strikes GRAM DICO

אִ֛ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO

וָמֵ֖ת wā·mêṯ so that he dies GRAM DICO

､

מ֥וֹת mō·wṯ surely GRAM DICO

יוּמָֽת׃ yū·māṯ. shall be put to death GRAM DICO

Exode 21, 13

וַאֲשֶׁר֙ wa·’ă·šer And However if GRAM DICO

לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO

צָדָ֔ה ṣā·ḏāh, he did lie in wait GRAM DICO

､

וְהָאֱלֹהִ֖ים wə·hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm but God GRAM DICO

אִנָּ֣ה ’in·nāh delivered [him] GRAM DICO

לְיָד֑וֹ lə·yā·ḏōw; into his hand GRAM DICO

–

וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י wə·śam·tî then I will appoint GRAM DICO

לְךָ֙ lə·ḵā for you GRAM

מָק֔וֹם mā·qō·wm, a place GRAM DICO

אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer where GRAM DICO

יָנ֖וּס yā·nūs he may flee GRAM DICO

שָֽׁמָּה׃ šām·māh. - GRAM DICO

Exode 21, 14

וְכִֽי־ wə·ḵî- but if GRAM DICO

יָזִ֥ד yā·ziḏ acts with premeditation GRAM DICO

אִ֛ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO

רֵעֵ֖הוּ rê·‘ê·hū his neighbor GRAM DICO

לְהָרְג֣וֹ lə·hā·rə·ḡōw to kill him GRAM DICO

בְעָרְמָ֑ה ḇə·‘ā·rə·māh; by treachery GRAM DICO

–

מֵעִ֣ם mê·‘im from GRAM DICO

מִזְבְּחִ֔י miz·bə·ḥî, My altar GRAM DICO

､

תִּקָּחֶ֖נּוּ tiq·qā·ḥen·nū you shall take him GRAM DICO

לָמֽוּת׃ lā·mūṯ. that he may die GRAM DICO

Exode 21, 15

וּמַכֵּ֥ה ū·mak·kêh And he who strikes GRAM DICO

אָבִ֛יו ’ā·ḇîw his father GRAM DICO

､

וְאִמּ֖וֹ wə·’im·mōw or his mother GRAM DICO

､

מ֥וֹת mō·wṯ surely GRAM DICO

יוּמָֽת׃ yū·māṯ. shall be put to death GRAM DICO

Exode 21, 16

וְגֹנֵ֨ב wə·ḡō·nêḇ And He who kidnaps GRAM DICO

אִ֧ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO

וּמְכָר֛וֹ ū·mə·ḵā·rōw and sells him GRAM DICO

､

וְנִמְצָ֥א wə·nim·ṣā or if he is found GRAM DICO

בְיָד֖וֹ ḇə·yā·ḏōw in his hand GRAM DICO

､

מ֥וֹת mō·wṯ surely GRAM DICO

יוּמָֽת׃ yū·māṯ. shall be put to death GRAM DICO

וּמְקַלֵּ֥ל ū·mə·qal·lêl And he who curses GRAM DICO

אָבִ֛יו ’ā·ḇîw his father GRAM DICO

וְאִמּ֖וֹ wə·’im·mōw or his mother GRAM DICO

､

מ֥וֹת mō·wṯ surely GRAM DICO

יוּמָֽת׃ yū·māṯ. shall be put to death GRAM DICO

וְכִֽי־ wə·ḵî- And if GRAM DICO

יְרִיבֻ֣ן yə·rî·ḇun contend with each other GRAM DICO

אֲנָשִׁ֔ים ’ă·nā·šîm, men GRAM DICO

､

וְהִכָּה־ wə·hik·kāh- and strikes GRAM DICO

אִישׁ֙ ’îš one GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

רֵעֵ֔הוּ rê·‘ê·hū, the other GRAM DICO

בְּאֶ֖בֶן bə·’e·ḇen with a stone GRAM DICO

､

א֣וֹ ’ōw or GRAM DICO

בְאֶגְרֹ֑ף ḇə·’eḡ·rōp̄; with [his] fist GRAM DICO

､

וְלֹ֥א wə·lō and not GRAM DICO

יָמ֖וּת yā·mūṯ he does die GRAM DICO

､

וְנָפַ֥ל wə·nā·p̄al but is confined GRAM DICO

לְמִשְׁכָּֽב׃ lə·miš·kāḇ. to [his] bed GRAM DICO

､

Exode 21, 19

אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO

יָק֞וּם yā·qūm he rises again GRAM DICO

וְהִתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ wə·hiṯ·hal·lêḵ and walks GRAM DICO

בַּח֛וּץ ba·ḥūṣ about outside GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- with GRAM DICO

מִשְׁעַנְתּ֖וֹ miš·‘an·tōw his staff GRAM DICO

､

וְנִקָּ֣ה wə·niq·qāh then he shall be acquitted GRAM DICO

הַמַּכֶּ֑ה ham·mak·keh; who struck [him] GRAM DICO

–

רַ֥ק raq only GRAM DICO

שִׁבְתּ֛וֹ šiḇ·tōw [for] the loss of his time GRAM DICO

､

יִתֵּ֖ן yit·tên He shall pay GRAM DICO

וְרַפֹּ֥א wə·rap·pō and thoroughly GRAM DICO

יְרַפֵּֽא׃ yə·rap·pê. shall provide [for him] to be healed GRAM DICO

Exode 21, 20

וְכִֽי־ wə·ḵî- And if GRAM DICO

יַכֶּה֩ yak·keh beats GRAM DICO

אִ֨ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

עַבְדּ֜וֹ ‘aḇ·dōw his male GRAM DICO

､

א֤וֹ ’ōw or GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

אֲמָתוֹ֙ ’ă·mā·ṯōw maidservant GRAM DICO

בַּשֵּׁ֔בֶט baš·šê·ḇeṭ, with a rod GRAM DICO

､

וּמֵ֖ת ū·mêṯ so that he dies GRAM DICO

תַּ֣חַת ta·ḥaṯ under GRAM DICO

יָד֑וֹ yā·ḏōw; his hand GRAM DICO

–

נָקֹ֖ם nā·qōm surely GRAM DICO

יִנָּקֵֽם׃ yin·nā·qêm. he shall be punished GRAM DICO
