וַיֹּ֥אמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem to them GRAM
שְׁמָע֣וּנִי šə·mā·‘ū·nî Hear me GRAM DICO
הַלְוִיִּ֑ם hal·wî·yim; Levites GRAM DICO
､
עַתָּ֣ה ‘at·tāh now GRAM DICO
הִֽתְקַדְּשׁ֗וּ hiṯ·qad·də·šū, sanctify yourselves GRAM DICO
､
וְקַדְּשׁוּ֙ wə·qad·də·šū and sanctify GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֵּ֤ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֔ם ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem, of your fathers GRAM DICO
､
וְהוֹצִ֥יאוּ wə·hō·w·ṣî·’ū and carry out GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַנִּדָּ֖ה han·nid·dāh the rubbish GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ haq·qō·ḏeš. the holy [place] GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- For GRAM DICO
מָעֲל֣וּ mā·‘ă·lū have trespassed GRAM DICO
､
אֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּ ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū, our fathers GRAM DICO
וְעָשׂ֥וּ wə·‘ā·śū and done GRAM DICO
הָרַ֛ע hā·ra‘ evil GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֵ֥י bə·‘ê·nê in the eyes GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה־ Yah·weh- of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū our God GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּֽעַזְבֻ֑הוּ way·ya·‘az·ḇu·hū; and they have forsaken Him GRAM DICO
וַיַּסֵּ֧בּוּ way·yas·sêb·bū and have turned away GRAM DICO
פְנֵיהֶ֛ם p̄ə·nê·hem their faces GRAM DICO
מִמִּשְׁכַּ֥ן mim·miš·kan from the dwelling place GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּתְּנוּ־ way·yit·tə·nū- and turned GRAM DICO
עֹֽרֶף׃ ‘ō·rep̄. [their] backs [on Him] GRAM DICO

גַּ֣ם gam Also GRAM DICO
סָֽגְר֞וּ sā·ḡə·rū they have shut up GRAM DICO
דַּלְת֣וֹת dal·ṯō·wṯ the doors of GRAM DICO
הָאוּלָ֗ם hā·’ū·lām, the vestibule GRAM DICO
､
וַיְכַבּוּ֙ way·ḵab·bū and put out GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַנֵּר֔וֹת han·nê·rō·wṯ, the lamps GRAM DICO
､
וּקְטֹ֖רֶת ū·qə·ṭō·reṯ and incense GRAM DICO
לֹ֣א lō not GRAM DICO
הִקְטִ֑ירוּ hiq·ṭî·rū; have burned GRAM DICO
וְעֹלָה֙ wə·‘ō·lāh or burnt offerings GRAM DICO
לֹא־ lō- nor GRAM DICO
הֶעֱל֣וּ he·‘ĕ·lū offered GRAM DICO
בַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ ḇaq·qō·ḏeš, in the holy [place] GRAM DICO
לֵאלֹהֵ֖י lê·lō·hê to the God GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. of Israel GRAM DICO

וַיְהִי֙ way·hî Therefore fell GRAM DICO
קֶ֣צֶף qe·ṣep̄ the wrath GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh Judah GRAM DICO
וִירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם wî·rū·šā·lim; and Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּתְּנֵ֤ם way·yit·tə·nêm and He has given them up GRAM DICO
[לזועה] liz·wā·‘āh  -  GRAM
(לְזַֽעֲוָה֙) lə·za·‘ă·wāh to trouble GRAM DICO
לְשַׁמָּ֣ה lə·šam·māh to desolation GRAM DICO
､
וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֔ה wə·liš·rê·qāh, and to jeering GRAM DICO
､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר ka·’ă·šer as GRAM DICO
אַתֶּ֥ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO
רֹאִ֖ים rō·’îm see GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ bə·‘ê·nê·ḵem. with your eyes GRAM DICO

וְהִנֵּ֛ה wə·hin·nêh For indeed GRAM DICO
､
נָפְל֥וּ nā·p̄ə·lū have fallen GRAM DICO
אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū our fathers GRAM DICO
בֶּחָ֑רֶב be·ḥā·reḇ; by the sword GRAM DICO
､
וּבָנֵ֨ינוּ ū·ḇā·nê·nū and our sons GRAM DICO
וּבְנוֹתֵ֧ינוּ ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯê·nū and our daughters GRAM DICO
וְנָשֵׁ֛ינוּ wə·nā·šê·nū and our wives [are] GRAM DICO
בַּשְּׁבִ֖י baš·šə·ḇî in captivity GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- because GRAM DICO
זֹֽאת׃ zōṯ. of this GRAM DICO

עַתָּה֙ ‘at·tāh Now GRAM DICO
עִם־ ‘im- [it is] in GRAM DICO
לְבָבִ֔י lə·ḇā·ḇî, my heart GRAM DICO
לִכְר֣וֹת liḵ·rō·wṯ to make GRAM DICO
בְּרִ֔ית bə·rîṯ, a covenant GRAM DICO
לַיהוָ֖ה Yah·weh with Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê God GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO
､
וְיָשֹׁ֥ב wə·yā·šōḇ that may turn away GRAM DICO
מִמֶּ֖נּוּ mim·men·nū from us GRAM DICO
חֲר֥וֹן ḥă·rō·wn fierce GRAM DICO
אַפּֽוֹ׃ ’ap·pōw. His wrath GRAM DICO

בָּנַ֕י bā·nay My sons GRAM DICO
､
עַתָּ֖ה ‘at·tāh now GRAM DICO
אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO
תִּשָּׁל֑וּ tiš·šā·lū; do be negligent GRAM DICO
–
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
בָכֶ֞ם ḇā·ḵem you GRAM
בָּחַ֣ר bā·ḥar has chosen GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
לַעֲמֹ֤ד la·‘ă·mōḏ to stand GRAM DICO
לְפָנָיו֙ lə·p̄ā·nāw before Him GRAM DICO
לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ lə·šā·rə·ṯōw, to serve Him GRAM DICO
וְלִהְי֥וֹת wə·lih·yō·wṯ that you should GRAM DICO
ל֖וֹ lōw to Him GRAM
מְשָׁרְתִ֥ים mə·šā·rə·ṯîm minister GRAM DICO
וּמַקְטִרִֽים׃ ū·maq·ṭi·rîm. and burn incense GRAM DICO

､
וַעֲזַרְיָ֖הוּ wa·‘ă·zar·yā·hū and Azariah GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- the son GRAM DICO
יְהַלֶּלְאֵ֑ל yə·hal·lel·’êl; of Jehallelel GRAM DICO

וּמִן־ ū·min- and GRAM DICO
הַגֵּ֣רְשֻׁנִּ֔י hag·gê·rə·šun·nî, of the Gershonite GRAM DICO
