וַיַּעֲמֵ֣ד way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ And appointed GRAM DICO
יְחִזְקִיָּ֡הוּ yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū Hezekiah GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מַחְלְק֣וֹת maḥ·lə·qō·wṯ the divisions GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים hak·kō·hă·nîm of the priests GRAM DICO
וְ֠הַלְוִיִּם wə·hal·wî·yim and the Levites GRAM DICO
עַֽל־ ‘al- according to GRAM DICO
מַחְלְקוֹתָ֞ם maḥ·lə·qō·w·ṯām their divisions GRAM DICO
､
אִ֣ישׁ ׀ ’îš each man GRAM DICO
כְּפִ֣י kə·p̄î according to GRAM DICO
עֲבֹדָת֗וֹ ‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯōw, his service GRAM DICO
､
לַכֹּהֲנִים֙ lak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO
וְלַלְוִיִּ֔ם wə·lal·wî·yim, and Levites GRAM DICO
לְעֹלָ֖ה lə·‘ō·lāh for burnt offerings GRAM DICO
וְלִשְׁלָמִ֑ים wə·liš·lā·mîm; and peace offerings GRAM DICO
､
לְשָׁרֵת֙ lə·šā·rêṯ to serve GRAM DICO
､
וּלְהֹד֣וֹת ū·lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ and to give thanks GRAM DICO
､
וּלְהַלֵּ֔ל ū·lə·hal·lêl, and to praise GRAM DICO
בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֖י bə·ša·‘ă·rê in the gates GRAM DICO
מַחֲנ֥וֹת ma·ḥă·nō·wṯ of the camp of GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

וּמְנָת֩ ū·mə·nāṯ And [appointed] a portion GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- of GRAM DICO
רְכוּשׁ֜וֹ rə·ḵū·šōw his possessions GRAM DICO
לָעֹל֗וֹת lā·‘ō·lō·wṯ, for the burnt offerings GRAM DICO
､
לְעֹלוֹת֙ lə·‘ō·lō·wṯ for burnt offerings GRAM DICO
､
הַבֹּ֣קֶר hab·bō·qer the morning GRAM DICO
וְהָעֶ֔רֶב wə·hā·‘e·reḇ, and evening GRAM DICO
וְהָ֣עֹל֔וֹת wə·hā·‘ō·lō·wṯ, and the burnt offerings GRAM DICO
לַשַּׁבָּת֖וֹת laš·šab·bā·ṯō·wṯ for the Sabbaths GRAM DICO
､
וְלֶחֳדָשִׁ֣ים wə·le·ḥo·ḏā·šîm and the New Moons GRAM DICO
､
וְלַמֹּעֲדִ֑ים wə·lam·mō·‘ă·ḏîm; and the set feasts GRAM DICO
､
כַּכָּת֖וּב kak·kā·ṯūḇ as [it is] written GRAM DICO
בְּתוֹרַ֥ת bə·ṯō·w·raṯ in the Law GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר way·yō·mer Moreover he commanded GRAM DICO
לָעָם֙ lā·‘ām the people GRAM DICO
לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֣י lə·yō·wō·šə·ḇê who dwelt GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם yə·rū·šā·lim, in Jerusalem GRAM DICO
לָתֵ֕ת lā·ṯêṯ to contribute GRAM DICO
מְנָ֥ת mə·nāṯ support for GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים hak·kō·hă·nîm the priests GRAM DICO
וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם wə·hal·wî·yim; and the Levites GRAM DICO
､
לְמַ֥עַן lə·ma·‘an that GRAM DICO
יֶחֶזְק֖וּ ye·ḥez·qū they might devote themselves GRAM DICO
בְּתוֹרַ֥ת bə·ṯō·w·raṯ to the Law GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְכִפְרֹ֣ץ wə·ḵip̄·rōṣ And as soon as was circulated GRAM DICO
､
הַדָּבָ֗ר had·dā·ḇār, the commandment GRAM DICO
הִרְבּ֤וּ hir·bū brought in abundance GRAM DICO
בְנֵֽי־ ḇə·nê- the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
רֵאשִׁ֣ית rê·šîṯ the firstfruits GRAM DICO
דָּגָ֗ן dā·ḡān, of grain GRAM DICO
､
תִּיר֤וֹשׁ tî·rō·wōš and wine GRAM DICO
､
וְיִצְהָר֙ wə·yiṣ·hār and oil GRAM DICO
､
וּדְבַ֔שׁ ū·ḏə·ḇaš, and honey GRAM DICO
､
וְכֹ֖ל wə·ḵōl and all GRAM DICO
תְּבוּאַ֣ת tə·ḇū·’aṯ of the produce GRAM DICO
שָׂדֶ֑ה śā·ḏeh; of the field GRAM DICO
–
וּמַעְשַׂ֥ר ū·ma‘·śar and the tithe GRAM DICO
הַכֹּ֛ל hak·kōl of everything GRAM DICO
לָרֹ֖ב lā·rōḇ abundantly GRAM DICO
הֵבִֽיאוּ׃ hê·ḇî·’ū. they brought in GRAM DICO

וּבְנֵ֧י ū·ḇə·nê And the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
וִֽיהוּדָ֗ה wî·hū·ḏāh, and Judah GRAM DICO
､
הַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֮ hay·yō·wō·šə·ḇîm who dwelt GRAM DICO
בְּעָרֵ֣י bə·‘ā·rê in the cities GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָה֒ yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO
､
גַּם־ gam- even GRAM DICO
הֵ֗ם hêm, they GRAM DICO
מַעְשַׂ֤ר ma‘·śar the tithe GRAM DICO
בָּקָר֙ bā·qār of oxen GRAM DICO
וָצֹ֔אן wā·ṣōn, and sheep GRAM DICO
､
וּמַעְשַׂ֣ר ū·ma‘·śar and the tithe GRAM DICO
קָֽדָשִׁ֔ים qā·ḏā·šîm, of holy things GRAM DICO
הַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֖ים ham·qud·dā·šîm which were consecrated GRAM DICO
לַיהוָ֣ה Yah·weh to Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem; their God GRAM DICO
､
הֵבִ֕יאוּ hê·ḇî·’ū brought GRAM DICO
וַֽיִּתְּנ֖וּ way·yit·tə·nū and they laid GRAM DICO
עֲרֵמ֥וֹת ‘ă·rê·mō·wṯ by heaps GRAM DICO
עֲרֵמֽוֹת׃ ‘ă·rê·mō·wṯ. in heaps GRAM DICO

בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ ba·ḥō·ḏeš In the month GRAM DICO
הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֔י haš·šə·li·šî, third GRAM DICO
הֵחֵ֥לּוּ hê·ḥêl·lū they began GRAM DICO
הָעֲרֵמ֖וֹת hā·‘ă·rê·mō·wṯ in heaps GRAM DICO
､
לְיִסּ֑וֹד lə·yis·sō·wḏ; laying them GRAM DICO
וּבַחֹ֥דֶשׁ ū·ḇa·ḥō·ḏeš and in the month GRAM DICO

הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י haš·šə·ḇî·‘î Seventh GRAM DICO
כִּלּֽוּ׃ kil·lū. they finished GRAM DICO

וְהַשָּׂרִ֔ים wə·haś·śā·rîm, and the leaders GRAM DICO
וַיִּרְא֖וּ way·yir·’ū and saw GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָעֲרֵמ֑וֹת hā·‘ă·rê·mō·wṯ; the heaps GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיְבָרֲכוּ֙ way·ḇā·ră·ḵū and they blessed GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֖ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
עַמּ֥וֹ ‘am·mōw His people GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. Israel GRAM DICO
