וַתָּבֹ֥א wat·tā·ḇō So GRAM DICO
הָעִ֖יר hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO
בַּמָּצ֑וֹר bam·mā·ṣō·wr; was besieged GRAM DICO
עַ֚ד ‘aḏ until GRAM DICO
עַשְׁתֵּ֣י ‘aš·tê one GRAM DICO
עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה ‘eś·rêh [and] ten GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֔ה šā·nāh, the year GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ of King GRAM DICO
צִדְקִיָּֽהוּ׃ ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū. Zedekiah GRAM DICO

בְּתִשְׁעָ֣ה bə·ṯiš·‘āh By [day] nine GRAM DICO
לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ la·ḥō·ḏeš, of the [fourth] month GRAM DICO
וַיֶּחֱזַ֥ק way·ye·ḥĕ·zaq and had become so severe GRAM DICO
הָרָעָ֖ב hā·rā·‘āḇ the famine GRAM DICO
בָּעִ֑יר bā·‘îr; in the city GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹא־ wə·lō- that no GRAM DICO
הָ֥יָה hā·yāh there was GRAM DICO
לֶ֖חֶם le·ḥem food GRAM DICO
לְעַ֥ם lə·‘am for the people GRAM DICO
הָאָֽרֶץ׃ hā·’ā·reṣ. of the land GRAM DICO

וַתִּבָּקַ֣ע wat·tib·bā·qa‘ And was broken through GRAM DICO
､
הָעִ֗יר hā·‘îr, the city [wall] GRAM DICO
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
אַנְשֵׁ֨י ’an·šê the men GRAM DICO
הַמִּלְחָמָ֤ה ׀ ham·mil·ḥā·māh of war GRAM DICO
הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ hal·lay·lāh [fled] at night GRAM DICO
דֶּ֜רֶךְ de·reḵ by way GRAM DICO
שַׁ֣עַר ׀ ša·‘ar of the gate GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ין bên between GRAM DICO
הַחֹמֹתַ֗יִם ha·ḥō·mō·ṯa·yim, two walls GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁר֙ ’ă·šer which was GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- by GRAM DICO
גַּ֣ן gan garden GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king's GRAM DICO
וְכַשְׂדִּ֥ים wə·ḵaś·dîm and even though the Chaldeans GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- [were] still encamped against GRAM DICO
הָעִ֖יר hā·‘îr the city GRAM DICO
סָבִ֑יב sā·ḇîḇ; all around GRAM DICO
וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ way·yê·leḵ and [the king] went GRAM DICO
דֶּ֥רֶךְ de·reḵ by way GRAM DICO
הָעֲרָבָֽה׃ hā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh. of the plain GRAM DICO

וַיִּרְדְּפ֤וּ way·yir·də·p̄ū But pursued GRAM DICO
חֵיל־ ḥêl- the army GRAM DICO
כַּשְׂדִּים֙ kaś·dîm of the Chaldeans GRAM DICO
אַחַ֣ר ’a·ḥar after GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּשִּׂ֥גוּ way·yaś·śi·ḡū and they overtook GRAM DICO
אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
בְּעַרְב֣וֹת bə·‘ar·ḇō·wṯ in the plains GRAM DICO
יְרֵח֑וֹ yə·rê·ḥōw; of Jericho GRAM DICO
–
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
חֵיל֔וֹ ḥê·lōw, his army GRAM DICO
נָפֹ֖צוּ nā·p̄ō·ṣū was scattered GRAM DICO
מֵעָלָֽיו׃ mê·‘ā·lāw. from him GRAM DICO

וַֽיִּתְפְּשׂוּ֙ way·yiṯ·pə·śū So they took GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּעֲל֥וּ way·ya·‘ă·lū and brought up GRAM DICO
אֹת֛וֹ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
מֶ֥לֶךְ me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֖ל bā·ḇel of Babylon GRAM DICO
רִבְלָ֑תָה riḇ·lā·ṯāh; at Riblah GRAM DICO
–
וַיְדַבְּר֥וּ way·ḏab·bə·rū and they pronounced GRAM DICO
אִתּ֖וֹ ’it·tōw on him GRAM DICO
מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ miš·pāṭ. judgment GRAM DICO

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- And GRAM DICO
בְּנֵי֙ bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO
צִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū, of Zedekiah GRAM DICO
שָׁחֲט֖וּ šā·ḥă·ṭū they killed GRAM DICO
לְעֵינָ֑יו lə·‘ê·nāw; before his eyes GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
עֵינֵ֤י ‘ê·nê the eyes GRAM DICO
צִדְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū of Zedekiah GRAM DICO
､
עִוֵּ֔ר ‘iw·wêr, put out GRAM DICO
וַיַּאַסְרֵ֙הוּ֙ way·ya·’as·rê·hū and bound him GRAM DICO
בַֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִם ḇan·ḥuš·ta·yim, with bronze fetters GRAM DICO
､
וַיְבִאֵ֖הוּ way·ḇi·’ê·hū and took him GRAM DICO
בָּבֶֽל׃ bā·ḇel. to Babylon GRAM DICO

הַֽחֲמִישִׁי֙ ha·ḥă·mî·šî fifth GRAM DICO
בְּשִׁבְעָ֣ה bə·šiḇ·‘āh on [day] seven GRAM DICO
לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ la·ḥō·ḏeš, of the month GRAM DICO
､
הִ֗יא hî, that [was] GRAM DICO
שְׁנַת֙ šə·naṯ the year GRAM DICO
תְּשַֽׁע־ tə·ša‘- nine GRAM DICO
עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה ‘eś·rêh [and] ten GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֔ה šā·nāh, year GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ of King GRAM DICO
נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר nə·ḇu·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar Nebuchadnezzar GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֑ל bā·ḇel; of Babylon GRAM DICO
､
בָּ֞א bā came GRAM DICO
נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֧ן nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān Nebuzaradan GRAM DICO
､
רַב־ raḇ- the captain GRAM DICO
טַבָּחִ֛ים ṭab·bā·ḥîm of the guard GRAM DICO
､
עֶ֥בֶד ‘e·ḇeḏ a servant GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- of the king GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֖ל bā·ḇel of Babylon GRAM DICO
､
יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ yə·rū·šā·lim. to Jerusalem GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׂרֹ֥ף way·yiś·rōp̄ And He burned GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
בֵּית־ bêṯ- the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ house GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ; of the king GRAM DICO
וְאֵ֨ת wə·’êṯ and GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
בָּתֵּ֧י bāt·tê the houses GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֛ם yə·rū·šā·lim of Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- that is GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ the houses GRAM DICO
גָּד֖וֹל gā·ḏō·wl of the great GRAM DICO
שָׂרַ֥ף śā·rap̄ he burned GRAM DICO
בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ bā·’êš. with fire GRAM DICO
