וַיִּקְח֤וּ way·yiq·ḥū And when took GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ p̄ə·liš·tîm the Philistines GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

אֲר֣וֹן ’ă·rō·wn the ark GRAM DICO

הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm, of God GRAM DICO

וַיָּבִ֥יאוּ way·yā·ḇî·’ū and they brought GRAM DICO

אֹת֖וֹ ’ō·ṯōw it GRAM DICO

בֵּ֣ית bêṯ into the temple GRAM DICO

וַיַּצִּ֥יגוּ way·yaṣ·ṣî·ḡū and set GRAM DICO

דָּגֽוֹן׃ dā·ḡō·wn. Dagon GRAM DICO

וַיַּשְׁכִּ֤מוּ way·yaš·ki·mū And when arose early GRAM DICO

אַשְׁדּוֹדִים֙ ’aš·dō·w·ḏîm the Ashdodites GRAM DICO

מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת mim·mā·ḥo·rāṯ, in the morning GRAM DICO

נֹפֵ֤ל nō·p̄êl fallen GRAM DICO

לְפָנָיו֙ lə·p̄ā·nāw on its face GRAM DICO

אַ֔רְצָה ’ar·ṣāh, to the earth GRAM DICO

לִפְנֵ֖י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO

אֲר֣וֹן ’ă·rō·wn the ark GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְחוּ֙ way·yiq·ḥū So they took GRAM DICO

דָּג֔וֹן dā·ḡō·wn, Dagon GRAM DICO

וַיָּשִׁ֥בוּ way·yā·ši·ḇū and set again GRAM DICO

לִמְקוֹמֽוֹ׃ lim·qō·w·mōw. in its place GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וְרֹ֨אשׁ wə·rōš and the head GRAM DICO

דָּג֜וֹן dā·ḡō·wn of Dagon GRAM DICO

וּשְׁתֵּ֣י ׀ ū·šə·tê and the two GRAM DICO

כַּפּ֣וֹת kap·pō·wṯ palms GRAM DICO

יָדָ֗יו yā·ḏāw, of its hands GRAM DICO

כְּרֻתוֹת֙ kə·ru·ṯō·wṯ [were] broken off GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- on GRAM DICO

הַמִּפְתָּ֔ן ham·mip̄·tān, the threshold GRAM DICO

רַ֥ק raq only GRAM DICO

דָּג֖וֹן dā·ḡō·wn Dagon's [torso] GRAM DICO

נִשְׁאַ֥ר niš·’ar was left GRAM DICO

עָלָֽיו׃ ‘ā·lāw. of it GRAM DICO

בְּאַשְׁדּ֑וֹד bə·’aš·dō·wḏ; in Ashdod GRAM DICO

עַ֖ד ‘aḏ to GRAM DICO

הַיּ֥וֹם hay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO

הַזֶּֽה׃ haz·zeh. this GRAM DICO

הָאַשְׁדּוֹדִ֖ים hā·’aš·dō·w·ḏîm the Ashdodites GRAM DICO

וַיְשִׁמֵּ֑ם way·šim·mêm; and He ravaged them GRAM DICO

וַיַּ֤ךְ way·yaḵ and struck GRAM DICO

אֹתָם֙ ’ō·ṯām them GRAM DICO

[בעפלים] bā·‘o·p̄ā·lîm - GRAM

(בַּטְּחֹרִ֔ים‪‬) baṭ·ṭə·ḥō·rîm, with tumors GRAM DICO

גְּבוּלֶֽיהָ׃ gə·ḇū·le·hā. its territory GRAM DICO

וַיִּרְא֥וּ way·yir·’ū And when saw GRAM DICO

אַנְשֵֽׁי־ ’an·šê- the men GRAM DICO

אַשְׁדּ֖וֹד ’aš·dō·wḏ of Ashdod GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- how [it was] GRAM DICO

כֵ֑ן ḵên; so GRAM DICO

､

וְאָמְר֗וּ wə·’ā·mə·rū, and they said GRAM DICO

､

לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO

יֵשֵׁ֞ב yê·šêḇ must remain GRAM DICO

אֲר֨וֹן ’ă·rō·wn the ark GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֤י ’ĕ·lō·hê of the God GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

עִמָּ֔נוּ ‘im·mā·nū, with us GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO

קָשְׁתָ֤ה qā·šə·ṯāh is harsh GRAM DICO

יָדוֹ֙ yā·ḏōw His hand GRAM DICO

עָלֵ֔ינוּ ‘ā·lê·nū, toward us GRAM DICO

וְעַ֖ל wə·‘al and GRAM DICO

דָּג֥וֹן dā·ḡō·wn Dagon GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū. our god GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁלְח֡וּ way·yiš·lə·ḥū Therefore they sent GRAM DICO

וַיַּאַסְפוּ֩ way·ya·’as·p̄ū and gathered GRAM DICO

וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ way·yō·mə·rū and said GRAM DICO

מַֽה־ mah- what GRAM DICO

נַּעֲשֶׂ֗ה na·‘ă·śeh, shall we do GRAM DICO

לַֽאֲרוֹן֙ la·’ă·rō·wn with the ark GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê of the God of GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, Israel GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ way·yō·mə·rū, and they answered GRAM DICO

､

גַּ֣ת gaṯ to Gath GRAM DICO

יִסֹּ֔ב yis·sōḇ, Let be carried away GRAM DICO

אֲר֖וֹן ’ă·rō·wn the ark GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֣י ’ĕ·lō·hê of the God GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO

וַיַּסֵּ֕בּוּ way·yas·sêb·bū so they carried away GRAM DICO
