וַיִּקַּ֣ח way·yiq·qaḥ And took GRAM DICO

שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל šə·mū·’êl, Samuel GRAM DICO

טְלֵ֤ה ṭə·lêh lamb GRAM DICO

､

חָלָב֙ ḥā·lāḇ suckling GRAM DICO

אֶחָ֔ד ’e·ḥāḏ, a GRAM DICO

[ויעלה] way·ya·‘ă·leh - GRAM

(וַיַּעֲלֵ֧הוּ) way·ya·‘ă·lê·hū and offered [it] GRAM DICO

עוֹלָ֛ה ‘ō·w·lāh [as] a burnt offering GRAM DICO

כָּלִ֖יל kā·lîl whole GRAM DICO

לַֽיהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; to Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיִּזְעַ֨ק way·yiz·‘aq and cried out GRAM DICO

שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל šə·mū·’êl Samuel GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

בְּעַ֣ד bə·‘aḏ for GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, Israel GRAM DICO

וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֖הוּ way·ya·‘ă·nê·hū and answered him GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֤י way·hî And as was GRAM DICO

שְׁמוּאֵל֙ šə·mū·’êl Samuel GRAM DICO

מַעֲלֶ֣ה ma·‘ă·leh offering up GRAM DICO

הָעוֹלָ֔ה hā·‘ō·w·lāh, the burnt offering GRAM DICO

､

וּפְלִשְׁתִּ֣ים ū·p̄ə·liš·tîm and the Philistines GRAM DICO

נִגְּשׁ֔וּ nig·gə·šū, drew near GRAM DICO

לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה lam·mil·ḥā·māh to battle GRAM DICO

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל bə·yiś·rā·’êl; against Israel GRAM DICO

וַיַּרְעֵ֣ם way·yar·‘êm But thundered GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֣ה ׀ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

בְּקוֹל־ bə·qō·wl- with a thunder GRAM DICO

גָּ֠דוֹל gā·ḏō·wl loud GRAM DICO

בַּיּ֨וֹם bay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO

הַה֤וּא ha·hū that GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- upon GRAM DICO

פְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ pə·liš·tîm the Philistines GRAM DICO

､

וַיְהֻמֵּ֔ם way·hum·mêm, so confused them GRAM DICO

וַיִּנָּגְפ֖וּ way·yin·nā·ḡə·p̄ū that they were overcome GRAM DICO

לִפְנֵ֥י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ yiś·rā·’êl. Israel GRAM DICO

I Samuel 7, 11

וַיֵּ֨צְא֜וּ way·yê·ṣə·’ū And went out GRAM DICO

אַנְשֵׁ֤י ’an·šê the men GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO

הַמִּצְפָּ֔ה ham·miṣ·pāh, Mizpah GRAM DICO

､

וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֖וּ way·yir·də·p̄ū and pursued GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים pə·liš·tîm; the Philistines GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּכּ֕וּם way·yak·kūm and drove them back GRAM DICO

עַד־ ‘aḏ- until GRAM DICO

מִתַּ֖חַת mit·ta·ḥaṯ as far as GRAM DICO

לְבֵ֥ית lə·ḇêṯ below GRAM

בֵּֽין־ bên- between GRAM DICO

הַמִּצְפָּה֙ ham·miṣ·pāh Mizpah GRAM DICO

וּבֵ֣ין ū·ḇên and GRAM DICO

הַשֵּׁ֔ן haš·šên, Shen GRAM DICO

､

וַיִּקְרָ֥א way·yiq·rā and called GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

שְׁמָ֖הּ šə·māh its name GRAM DICO

אֶ֣בֶן ’e·ḇen -

הָעָ֑זֶר hā·‘ā·zer; Ebenezer GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמַ֕ר way·yō·mar and saying GRAM DICO

､

עַד־ ‘aḏ- thus far GRAM DICO

הֵ֖נָּה hên·nāh thus GRAM DICO

עֲזָרָ֥נוּ ‘ă·zā·rā·nū has helped us GRAM DICO

יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

I Samuel 7, 13

וַיִּכָּֽנְעוּ֙ way·yik·kā·nə·‘ū So were subdued GRAM DICO

､

הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים hap·pə·liš·tîm, the Philistines GRAM DICO

וְלֹא־ wə·lō- and not GRAM DICO

יָסְפ֣וּ yā·sə·p̄ū again GRAM DICO

ע֔וֹד ‘ō·wḏ, anymore GRAM DICO

לָב֖וֹא lā·ḇō·w they did come GRAM DICO

בִּגְב֣וּל biḡ·ḇūl into the territory GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; of Israel GRAM DICO

וַתְּהִ֤י wat·tə·hî And was GRAM DICO

מֵעֶקְר֣וֹן mê·‘eq·rō·wn from Ekron GRAM DICO

וְעַד־ wə·‘aḏ- and to GRAM DICO

גַּ֔ת gaṯ, Gath GRAM DICO

וְאֶ֨ת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO

גְּבוּלָ֔ן gə·ḇū·lān, its territory GRAM DICO

הִצִּ֥יל hiṣ·ṣîl recovered GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl Israel GRAM DICO

מִיַּ֣ד mî·yaḏ from the hand GRAM DICO

פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים pə·liš·tîm; of the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֣י way·hî And there was GRAM DICO

שָׁל֔וֹם šā·lō·wm, peace GRAM DICO
