וַיְהִ֗י way·hî, So it was GRAM DICO

הָֽאָרוֹן֙ hā·’ā·rō·wn the ark GRAM DICO

בְּקִרְיַ֣ת bə·qir·yaṯ in GRAM

יְעָרִ֔ים yə·‘ā·rîm, Kirjath Jearim GRAM DICO

וַיִּרְבּוּ֙ way·yir·bū and long GRAM DICO

הַיָּמִ֔ים hay·yā·mîm, a time GRAM DICO

וַיִּֽהְי֖וּ way·yih·yū and it was [there] GRAM DICO

עֶשְׂרִ֣ים ‘eś·rîm twenty GRAM DICO

שָׁנָ֑ה šā·nāh; years GRAM DICO

וַיִּנָּה֛וּ way·yin·nā·hū and lamented GRAM DICO

אַחֲרֵ֥י ’a·ḥă·rê after GRAM DICO

כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO

בֵּ֣ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

לֵאמֹר֒ lê·mōr saying GRAM DICO

､

אִם־ ’im- if GRAM DICO

בְּכָל־ bə·ḵāl with all GRAM DICO

לְבַבְכֶ֗ם lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem, your heart GRAM DICO

､

אַתֶּ֤ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO

שָׁבִים֙ šā·ḇîm return GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, Yahweh GRAM DICO

הָסִ֜ירוּ hā·sî·rū [then] put away GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֧י ’ĕ·lō·hê gods GRAM DICO

הַנֵּכָ֛ר han·nê·ḵār the foreign GRAM DICO

מִתּוֹכְכֶ֖ם mit·tō·wḵ·ḵem from among you GRAM DICO

וְהָעַשְׁתָּר֑וֹת wə·hā·‘aš·tā·rō·wṯ; and the Ashtoreths GRAM DICO

וְהָכִ֨ינוּ wə·hā·ḵî·nū and prepare GRAM DICO

לְבַבְכֶ֤ם lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem your hearts GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- for GRAM DICO

יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

וְעִבְדֻ֣הוּ wə·‘iḇ·ḏu·hū and serve Him GRAM DICO

לְבַדּ֔וֹ lə·ḇad·dōw, only GRAM DICO

–

וְיַצֵּ֥ל wə·yaṣ·ṣêl and He will deliver GRAM DICO

אֶתְכֶ֖ם ’eṯ·ḵem you GRAM DICO

מִיַּ֥ד mî·yaḏ from the hand GRAM DICO

פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ pə·liš·tîm. of the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיָּסִ֙ירוּ֙ way·yā·sî·rū So put away GRAM DICO

בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO

הַבְּעָלִ֖ים hab·bə·‘ā·lîm the Baals GRAM DICO

וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO

הָעַשְׁתָּרֹ֑ת hā·‘aš·tā·rōṯ; the Ashtoreths GRAM DICO

וַיַּעַבְד֥וּ way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏū and served GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ lə·ḇad·dōw. only GRAM DICO

הַמִּצְפָּ֑תָה ham·miṣ·pā·ṯāh; to Mizpah GRAM DICO

וְאֶתְפַּלֵּ֥ל wə·’eṯ·pal·lêl and I will pray GRAM DICO

בַּעַדְכֶ֖ם ba·‘aḏ·ḵem for you GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

I Samuel 7, 6

וַיִּקָּבְצ֣וּ way·yiq·qā·ḇə·ṣū So they gathered together GRAM DICO

הַ֠מִּצְפָּתָה ham·miṣ·pā·ṯāh at Mizpah GRAM DICO

､

וַיִּֽשְׁאֲבוּ־ way·yiš·’ă·ḇū- and drew GRAM DICO

מַ֜יִם ma·yim water GRAM DICO

､

וַֽיִּשְׁפְּכ֣וּ ׀ way·yiš·pə·ḵū and poured [it] out GRAM DICO

לִפְנֵ֣י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

､

וַיָּצ֙וּמוּ֙ way·yā·ṣū·mū and they fasted GRAM DICO

בַּיּ֣וֹם bay·yō·wm day GRAM DICO

､

הַה֔וּא ha·hū, that GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ way·yō·mə·rū and said GRAM DICO

שָׁ֔ם šām, there GRAM DICO

､

חָטָ֖אנוּ ḥā·ṭā·nū we have sinned GRAM DICO

לַיהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; against Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֧ט way·yiš·pōṭ And judged GRAM DICO

שְׁמוּאֵ֛ל šə·mū·’êl Samuel GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ- - GRAM DICO

בְּנֵ֥י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ bam·miṣ·pāh. at Mizpah GRAM DICO

וַיִּשְׁמְע֣וּ way·yiš·mə·‘ū And when heard GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים p̄ə·liš·tîm, the Philistines GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO

הִתְקַבְּצ֤וּ hiṯ·qab·bə·ṣū had gathered together GRAM DICO

בְנֵֽי־ ḇə·nê- the sons GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

הַמִּצְפָּ֔תָה ham·miṣ·pā·ṯāh, at Mizpah GRAM DICO

､

וַיַּעֲל֥וּ way·ya·‘ă·lū and went up GRAM DICO

סַרְנֵֽי־ sar·nê- the lords GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּ֖ים p̄ə·liš·tîm of the Philistines GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- against GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiś·rā·’êl; Israel GRAM DICO

וַֽיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ way·yiš·mə·‘ū And when heard [of it] GRAM DICO

בְּנֵ֣י bə·nê the sons GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yiś·rā·’êl, of Israel GRAM DICO

וַיִּֽרְא֖וּ way·yir·’ū and they were afraid GRAM DICO

מִפְּנֵ֥י mip·pə·nê of GRAM DICO

פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ p̄ə·liš·tîm. the Philistines GRAM DICO

וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ way·yō·mə·rū So said GRAM DICO

בְנֵֽי־ ḇə·nê- the sons GRAM DICO

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל šə·mū·’êl, Samuel GRAM DICO

､

אַל־ ’al- not GRAM DICO

תַּחֲרֵ֣שׁ ta·ḥă·rêš do cease GRAM DICO

מִמֶּ֔נּוּ mim·men·nū, for us GRAM DICO

מִזְּעֹ֖ק miz·zə·‘ōq to cry out GRAM DICO

אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū; our God GRAM DICO

וְיֹשִׁעֵ֖נוּ wə·yō·ši·‘ê·nū that He may save us GRAM DICO
