הַשְׁמִ֣יעוּ haš·mî·‘ū Call together GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- against GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֣ל ׀ bā·ḇel Babylon GRAM DICO
､
רַ֠בִּים rab·bîm the archers GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
דֹּ֨רְכֵי dō·rə·ḵê you who bend GRAM DICO
קֶ֜שֶׁת qe·šeṯ the bow GRAM DICO
､
חֲנ֧וּ ḥă·nū encamp GRAM DICO
עָלֶ֣יהָ ‘ā·le·hā against it GRAM DICO
סָבִ֗יב sā·ḇîḇ, all around GRAM DICO
–
אַל־ ’al- none GRAM DICO
יְהִי־ yə·hî- let GRAM DICO
(לָהּ֙‪‬) lāh [the vengeance of] of them GRAM
פְּלֵטָ֔ה pə·lê·ṭāh, escape GRAM DICO
–
שַׁלְּמוּ־ šal·lə·mū- Repay GRAM DICO
לָ֣הּ lāh her GRAM
כְּפָעֳלָ֔הּ kə·p̄ā·‘o·lāh, according to her work GRAM DICO
–
כְּכֹ֛ל kə·ḵōl According to all GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
עָשְׂתָ֖ה ‘ā·śə·ṯāh she has done GRAM DICO

עֲשׂוּ־ ‘ă·śū- do GRAM DICO
לָ֑הּ lāh; to her GRAM

לָכֵ֛ן lā·ḵên Therefore GRAM DICO
יִפְּל֥וּ yip·pə·lū shall fall GRAM DICO
בַחוּרֶ֖יהָ ḇa·ḥū·re·hā her young men GRAM DICO
בִּרְחֹבֹתֶ֑יהָ bir·ḥō·ḇō·ṯe·hā; in the streets GRAM DICO
､
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
אַנְשֵׁ֨י ’an·šê men GRAM DICO
מִלְחַמְתָּ֥הּ mil·ḥam·tāh of her war GRAM DICO
יִדַּ֛מּוּ yid·dam·mū shall be cut off GRAM DICO
בַּיּ֥וֹם bay·yō·wm in day GRAM DICO
､
הַה֖וּא ha·hū that GRAM DICO
נְאֻם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO

נְאֻם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO
אֲדֹנָ֥י ’ă·ḏō·nāy the Lord GRAM DICO
יְהוִ֖ה Yah·weh GOD GRAM DICO
צְבָא֑וֹת ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ; of hosts GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֛י kî for GRAM DICO
בָּ֥א bā has come GRAM DICO
､
יוֹמְךָ֖ yō·wm·ḵā your day GRAM DICO
עֵ֥ת ‘êṯ the time GRAM DICO
פְּקַדְתִּֽיךָ׃ pə·qaḏ·tî·ḵā. [that] I will punish you GRAM DICO

וְכָשַׁ֤ל wə·ḵā·šal And shall stumble GRAM DICO
זָדוֹן֙ zā·ḏō·wn the most proud GRAM DICO
וְנָפַ֔ל wə·nā·p̄al, and fall GRAM DICO
､
וְאֵ֥ין wə·’ên and no one GRAM DICO
ל֖וֹ lōw him GRAM
מֵקִ֑ים mê·qîm; will raise up GRAM DICO
–
וְהִצַּ֤תִּי wə·hiṣ·ṣat·tî and I will kindle GRAM DICO
אֵשׁ֙ ’êš a fire GRAM DICO
בְּעָרָ֔יו bə·‘ā·rāw, in his cities GRAM DICO
､
וְאָכְלָ֖ה wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh and it will devour GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
סְבִיבֹתָֽיו׃ sə·ḇî·ḇō·ṯāw. around him GRAM DICO

עֲשׁוּקִ֛ים ‘ă·šū·qîm [were] oppressed GRAM DICO
בְּנֵי־ bə·nê- the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
וּבְנֵי־ ū·ḇə·nê- and the sons GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֖ה yə·hū·ḏāh of Judah GRAM DICO
יַחְדָּ֑ו yaḥ·dāw; Along with GRAM DICO
–
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and all GRAM DICO
שֹֽׁבֵיהֶם֙ šō·ḇê·hem who took them captive GRAM DICO
הֶחֱזִ֣יקוּ he·ḥĕ·zî·qū have held fast GRAM DICO
–
בָ֔ם ḇām, them GRAM
מֵאֲנ֖וּ mê·’ă·nū they have refused GRAM DICO
שַׁלְּחָֽם׃ šal·lə·ḥām. to let them go GRAM DICO

גֹּאֲלָ֣ם ׀ gō·’ă·lām Their Redeemer [is] GRAM DICO
חָזָ֗ק ḥā·zāq, mighty GRAM DICO
–
יְהוָ֤ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
צְבָאוֹת֙ ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ of hosts GRAM DICO
שְׁמ֔וֹ šə·mōw, [is] His name GRAM DICO
–
רִ֥יב rîḇ thoroughly GRAM DICO
יָרִ֖יב yā·rîḇ He will plead GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
רִיבָ֑ם rî·ḇām; their case GRAM DICO
､
לְמַ֙עַן֙ lə·ma·‘an that GRAM DICO
הִרְגִּ֣יעַ hir·gî·a‘ He may give rest GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הָאָ֔רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ, to the land GRAM DICO
､
וְהִרְגִּ֖יז wə·hir·gîz and disquiet GRAM DICO
לְיֹשְׁבֵ֥י lə·yō·šə·ḇê the inhabitants GRAM DICO
בָבֶֽל׃ ḇā·ḇel. of Babylon GRAM DICO

עַל־ ‘al- against GRAM DICO
כַּשְׂדִּ֖ים kaś·dîm the Chaldeans GRAM DICO

נְאֻם־ nə·’um- says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וְאֶל־ wə·’el- and Against GRAM DICO
יֹשְׁבֵ֣י yō·šə·ḇê the inhabitants GRAM DICO
בָבֶ֔ל ḇā·ḇel, of Babylon GRAM DICO

שָׂרֶ֖יהָ śā·re·hā her princes GRAM DICO

הַבַּדִּ֖ים hab·bad·dîm the soothsayers GRAM DICO
–
וְנֹאָ֑לוּ wə·nō·’ā·lū; and they will be fools GRAM DICO
–
חֶ֥רֶב ḥe·reḇ a sword [is] GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- against GRAM DICO
גִּבּוֹרֶ֖יהָ gib·bō·w·re·hā her mighty men GRAM DICO
–
וָחָֽתּוּ׃ wā·ḥāt·tū. and they will be dismayed GRAM DICO
