כֹּ֤ה kōh Thus GRAM DICO
אָמַר֙ ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֣ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
צְבָא֔וֹת ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ, of hosts GRAM DICO
–
עֹ֤ד ‘ōḏ again GRAM DICO
יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ yê·šə·ḇū shall sit GRAM DICO
זְקֵנִ֣ים zə·qê·nîm Old men GRAM DICO
וּזְקֵנ֔וֹת ū·zə·qê·nō·wṯ, and old women GRAM DICO
בִּרְחֹב֖וֹת bir·ḥō·ḇō·wṯ in the streets GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yə·rū·šā·lim; of Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וְאִ֧ישׁ wə·’îš and each one GRAM DICO
מִשְׁעַנְתּ֛וֹ miš·‘an·tōw with his staff GRAM DICO
בְּיָד֖וֹ bə·yā·ḏōw in his hand GRAM DICO
מֵרֹ֥ב mê·rōḇ because of great GRAM DICO
יָמִֽים׃ yā·mîm. age GRAM DICO

וּרְחֹב֤וֹת ū·rə·ḥō·ḇō·wṯ And the streets GRAM DICO
הָעִיר֙ hā·‘îr of the city GRAM DICO
יִמָּ֣לְא֔וּ yim·mā·lə·’ū, shall be full GRAM DICO
יְלָדִ֖ים yə·lā·ḏîm of boys GRAM DICO
וִֽילָד֑וֹת wî·lā·ḏō·wṯ; and girls GRAM DICO
מְשַׂחֲקִ֖ים mə·śa·ḥă·qîm Playing GRAM DICO
בִּרְחֹֽבֹתֶֽיהָ׃ bir·ḥō·ḇō·ṯe·hā. in its streets GRAM DICO

שְׁאֵרִית֙ šə·’ê·rîṯ of the remnant GRAM DICO
הָעָ֣ם hā·‘ām of people GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֔ה haz·zeh, this GRAM DICO
בַּיָּמִ֖ים bay·yā·mîm in days GRAM DICO
､
הָהֵ֑ם hā·hêm; those GRAM DICO
גַּם־ gam- also GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינַי֙ bə·‘ê·nay in My eyes GRAM DICO
؟
יִפָּלֵ֔א yip·pā·lê, will it be marvelous GRAM DICO
נְאֻ֖ם nə·’um says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֥ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO

מוֹשִׁ֛יעַ mō·wō·šî·a‘ will save GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
עַמִּ֖י ‘am·mî My people GRAM DICO
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ mê·’e·reṣ from the land GRAM DICO
､
מִזְרָ֑ח miz·rāḥ; of the east GRAM DICO
וּמֵאֶ֖רֶץ ū·mê·’e·reṣ and from the land GRAM DICO
–
מְב֥וֹא mə·ḇō·w of GRAM DICO
הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ haš·šā·meš. the west GRAM DICO

וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî And I will bring [back] GRAM DICO
אֹתָ֔ם ’ō·ṯām, them GRAM DICO
וְשָׁכְנ֖וּ wə·šā·ḵə·nū and they shall dwell GRAM DICO
בְּת֣וֹךְ bə·ṯō·wḵ in the midst GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yə·rū·šā·lim; of Jerusalem GRAM DICO
–
וְהָיוּ־ wə·hā·yū- and they shall be GRAM DICO
לִ֣י lî My GRAM
לְעָ֗ם lə·‘ām, people GRAM DICO
､
וַֽאֲנִי֙ wa·’ă·nî and I GRAM DICO
אֶהְיֶ֤ה ’eh·yeh will be GRAM DICO
לָהֶם֙ lā·hem their GRAM
לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים lê·lō·hîm, God GRAM DICO
､
בֶּאֱמֶ֖ת be·’ĕ·meṯ in truth GRAM DICO
וּבִצְדָקָֽה׃ ū·ḇiṣ·ḏā·qāh. and righteousness GRAM DICO

תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה te·ḥĕ·zaq·nāh let be strong GRAM DICO

יְדֵיכֶ֔ם yə·ḏê·ḵem, your hands GRAM DICO
הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙ haš·šō·mə·‘îm You who have been hearing GRAM DICO
בַּיָּמִ֣ים bay·yā·mîm in days GRAM DICO
הָאֵ֔לֶּה hā·’êl·leh, these GRAM DICO
אֵ֖ת ’êṯ  -  GRAM DICO
הַדְּבָרִ֣ים had·də·ḇā·rîm words GRAM DICO
הָאֵ֑לֶּה hā·’êl·leh; these GRAM DICO
מִפִּי֙ mip·pî by the mouth GRAM DICO
הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים han·nə·ḇî·’îm, of the prophets GRAM DICO
､
אֲ֠שֶׁר ’ă·šer who [spoke] GRAM DICO
בְּי֞וֹם bə·yō·wm in the day GRAM DICO
יֻסַּ֨ד yus·saḏ the foundation was laid GRAM DICO
､
בֵּית־ bêṯ- for the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֧ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
צְבָא֛וֹת ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ of hosts GRAM DICO
הַהֵיכָ֖ל ha·hê·ḵāl the temple GRAM DICO
לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ lə·hib·bā·nō·wṯ. that might be built GRAM DICO

כִּ֗י kî, For GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵי֙ lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
הַיָּמִ֣ים hay·yā·mîm days GRAM DICO
הָהֵ֔ם hā·hêm, those GRAM DICO
שְׂכַ֤ר śə·ḵar wages for GRAM DICO
הָֽאָדָם֙ hā·’ā·ḏām man GRAM DICO
､
לֹ֣א lō no GRAM DICO
נִֽהְיָ֔ה nih·yāh, [There [were] GRAM DICO
וּשְׂכַ֥ר ū·śə·ḵar nor any hire for GRAM DICO
הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה hab·bə·hê·māh beast GRAM DICO
–
אֵינֶ֑נָּה ’ê·nen·nāh; nor GRAM DICO
וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א wə·lay·yō·w·ṣê for whoever went out GRAM DICO
וְלַבָּ֤א wə·lab·bā or came in GRAM DICO
אֵין־ ’ên- no GRAM DICO
שָׁלוֹם֙ šā·lō·wm [There was] peace GRAM DICO
מִן־ min- from GRAM DICO
הַצָּ֔ר haṣ·ṣār, the enemy GRAM DICO
､
וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח wa·’ă·šal·laḥ for I set GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
הָאָדָ֖ם hā·’ā·ḏām men GRAM DICO
אִ֥ישׁ ’îš everyone GRAM DICO
בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃ bə·rê·‘ê·hū. against his neighbor GRAM DICO
