בִּשְׁנַ֣ת biš·naṯ In the year GRAM DICO

יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים yə·hō·w·yā·qîm of Jehoiakim GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֑ה yə·hū·ḏāh; of Judah GRAM DICO
בָּ֣א bā came GRAM DICO
נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֧ר nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar Nebuchadnezzar GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
בָּבֶ֛ל bā·ḇel of Babylon GRAM DICO
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם yə·rū·šā·lim to Jerusalem GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּ֥צַר way·yā·ṣar and besieged GRAM DICO
עָלֶֽיהָ׃ ‘ā·le·hā. it GRAM DICO

וַיִּתֵּן֩ way·yit·tên And gave GRAM DICO
אֲדֹנָ֨י ’ă·ḏō·nāy the Lord GRAM DICO
בְּיָד֜וֹ bə·yā·ḏōw into his hand GRAM DICO

אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים yə·hō·w·yā·qîm Jehoiakim GRAM DICO
מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- king GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֗ה yə·hū·ḏāh, of Judah GRAM DICO
וּמִקְצָת֙ ū·miq·ṣāṯ and with some GRAM DICO
כְּלֵ֣י kə·lê of the articles GRAM DICO
בֵית־ ḇêṯ- of the house GRAM DICO
הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm, of God GRAM DICO
–
וַיְבִיאֵ֥ם way·ḇî·’êm and which he carried GRAM DICO
אֶֽרֶץ־ ’e·reṣ- into the land GRAM DICO
שִׁנְעָ֖ר šin·‘ār of Shinar GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ to the house GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהָ֑יו ’ĕ·lō·hāw; of his god GRAM DICO
–
וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- and GRAM DICO
הַכֵּלִ֣ים hak·kê·lîm the articles GRAM DICO
הֵבִ֔יא hê·ḇî, he brought GRAM DICO
בֵּ֖ית bêṯ into house GRAM DICO
אוֹצַ֥ר ’ō·w·ṣar of the treasure GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ ’ĕ·lō·hāw. his god GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר way·yō·mer And instructed GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
לְאַשְׁפְּנַ֖ז lə·’aš·pə·naz Ashpenaz GRAM DICO
רַ֣ב raḇ the master GRAM DICO
סָרִיסָ֑יו sā·rî·sāw; of his eunuchs GRAM DICO
､
לְהָבִ֞יא lə·hā·ḇî to bring GRAM DICO
מִבְּנֵ֧י mib·bə·nê some of the sons GRAM DICO
יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל yiś·rā·’êl of Israel GRAM DICO
､
וּמִזֶּ֥רַע ū·miz·ze·ra‘ and some of descendants GRAM DICO
הַמְּלוּכָ֖ה ham·mə·lū·ḵāh of the king GRAM DICO
וּמִן־ ū·min- and some GRAM DICO
הַֽפַּרְתְּמִֽים׃ hap·par·tə·mîm. of the nobles GRAM DICO

יְלָדִ֣ים yə·lā·ḏîm young men GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer in whom GRAM DICO
אֵֽין־ ’ên- [there was] no GRAM DICO
בָּהֶ֣ם bā·hem in GRAM
כָּל־ kāl- all GRAM DICO
[מאום] mə·’ūm  -  GRAM
(מוּם֩) mūm blemish GRAM DICO
､
וְטוֹבֵ֨י wə·ṭō·w·ḇê but GRAM DICO
מַרְאֶ֜ה mar·’eh good-looking GRAM DICO
､
וּמַשְׂכִּילִ֣ים ū·maś·kî·lîm and gifted GRAM DICO
בְּכָל־ bə·ḵāl in all GRAM DICO
חָכְמָ֗ה ḥāḵ·māh wisdom GRAM DICO
､
וְיֹ֤דְעֵי wə·yō·ḏə·‘ê and possessing GRAM DICO
דַ֙עַת֙ ḏa·‘aṯ knowledge GRAM DICO
､
וּמְבִינֵ֣י ū·mə·ḇî·nê and to understand GRAM DICO
מַדָּ֔ע mad·dā‘, quick GRAM DICO
､
וַאֲשֶׁר֙ wa·’ă·šer and who [had] GRAM DICO
כֹּ֣חַ kō·aḥ ability GRAM DICO
בָּהֶ֔ם bā·hem, in GRAM
לַעֲמֹ֖ד la·‘ă·mōḏ to serve GRAM DICO
בְּהֵיכַ֣ל bə·hê·ḵal in palace GRAM DICO
､
הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ; of the king GRAM DICO
וּֽלֲלַמְּדָ֥ם ū·lă·lam·mə·ḏām and whom they might teach GRAM DICO
סֵ֖פֶר sê·p̄er the language GRAM DICO
וּלְשׁ֥וֹן ū·lə·šō·wn and literature GRAM DICO
כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ kaś·dîm. of the Chaldeans GRAM DICO

וַיְמַן֩ way·man And appointed GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֨ם lā·hem for them GRAM
הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
דְּבַר־ də·ḇar- provision GRAM DICO
י֣וֹם yō·wm a day GRAM DICO
בְּיוֹמ֗וֹ bə·yō·w·mōw, a daily GRAM DICO
מִפַּת־ mip·paṯ- of GRAM
בַּ֤ג baḡ delicacies GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ ham·me·leḵ of the king GRAM DICO

וּמִיֵּ֣ין ū·mî·yên And of the wine GRAM DICO
מִשְׁתָּ֔יו miš·tāw, which he drank GRAM DICO
–
וּֽלְגַדְּלָ֖ם ū·lə·ḡad·də·lām and of training for them GRAM DICO
שָׁנִ֣ים šā·nîm years GRAM DICO
､
שָׁל֑וֹשׁ šā·lō·wōš; three GRAM DICO
וּמִ֨קְצָתָ֔ם ū·miq·ṣā·ṯām, so that at the end of [that time] GRAM DICO
יַֽעַמְד֖וּ ya·‘am·ḏū they might serve GRAM DICO
לִפְנֵ֥י lip̄·nê before GRAM DICO
הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ ham·me·leḵ. the king GRAM DICO

Daniel 1, 6
וַיְהִ֥י way·hî And were GRAM DICO
בָהֶ֖ם ḇā·hem from among those GRAM
מִבְּנֵ֣י mib·bə·nê of the sons GRAM DICO
יְהוּדָ֑ה yə·hū·ḏāh; of Judah GRAM DICO
､
דָּנִיֵּ֣אל dā·nî·yêl Daniel GRAM DICO
､
חֲנַנְיָ֔ה ḥă·nan·yāh, Hananiah GRAM DICO
､
מִֽישָׁאֵ֖ל mî·šā·’êl Mishael GRAM DICO
､
וַעֲזַרְיָֽה׃ wa·‘ă·zar·yāh. and Azariah GRAM DICO

וַיָּ֧שֶׂם way·yā·śem And gave GRAM DICO
לָהֶ֛ם lā·hem to them GRAM DICO
שַׂ֥ר śar the chief GRAM DICO
הַסָּרִיסִ֖ים has·sā·rî·sîm of the eunuchs GRAM DICO
שֵׁמ֑וֹת šê·mō·wṯ; names GRAM DICO
–
וַיָּ֨שֶׂם way·yā·śem and he gave GRAM DICO
לְדָֽנִיֵּ֜אל lə·ḏā·nî·yêl Daniel GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣לְטְשַׁאצַּ֗ר bê·lə·ṭə·šaṣ·ṣar, [the name] Belteshazzar GRAM DICO
–
וְלַֽחֲנַנְיָה֙ wə·la·ḥă·nan·yāh and to Hananiah GRAM DICO
､
שַׁדְרַ֔ךְ šaḏ·raḵ, Shadrach GRAM DICO
–
וּלְמִֽישָׁאֵ֣ל ū·lə·mî·šā·’êl and to Mishael GRAM DICO
､
מֵישַׁ֔ךְ mê·šaḵ, Meshach GRAM DICO
–
וְלַעֲזַרְיָ֖ה wə·la·‘ă·zar·yāh and to Azariah GRAM DICO
､
עֲבֵ֥ד ‘ă·ḇêḏ  - 
נְגֽוֹ׃ nə·ḡōw. Abed-nego GRAM DICO
