וַיְהִ֗י way·hî, And it came to pass GRAM DICO
בִּשְׁמֹנֶ֤ה biš·mō·neh in eight GRAM DICO
עֶשְׂרֵה֙ ‘eś·rêh [and] ten GRAM DICO
שָׁנָ֔ה šā·nāh, the year GRAM DICO
לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ lam·me·leḵ of king GRAM DICO
יֹאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ yō·šî·yā·hū; Josiah GRAM DICO
､
שָׁלַ֣ח šā·laḥ [that] sent GRAM DICO
הַ֠מֶּלֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the King GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
שָׁפָ֨ן šā·p̄ān Shaphan GRAM DICO
בֶּן־ ben- son GRAM DICO
אֲצַלְיָ֤הוּ ’ă·ṣal·yā·hū of Azaliah GRAM DICO
､
בֶן־ ḇen- the son GRAM DICO
מְשֻׁלָּם֙ mə·šul·lām of Meshullam GRAM DICO
､
הַסֹּפֵ֔ר has·sō·p̄êr, the scribe GRAM DICO
､
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ to the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֖ה Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
לֵאמֹֽר׃ lê·mōr. saying GRAM DICO

עֲלֵ֗ה ‘ă·lêh, go up GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
חִלְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ ḥil·qî·yā·hū Hilkiah GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵ֣ן hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO
､
הַגָּד֔וֹל hag·gā·ḏō·wl, high GRAM DICO
וְיַתֵּ֣ם wə·yat·têm that he may count GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֔סֶף hak·ke·sep̄, the money GRAM DICO
הַמּוּבָ֖א ham·mū·ḇā which has been brought GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ into the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer which GRAM DICO
אָסְפ֛וּ ’ā·sə·p̄ū have gathered GRAM DICO
שֹׁמְרֵ֥י šō·mə·rê the keepers GRAM DICO
הַסַּ֖ף has·sap̄ the doorkeepers GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֥ת mê·’êṯ from GRAM DICO
הָעָֽם׃ hā·‘ām. the people GRAM DICO

[ויתנה] wə·yit·tə·nōh  -  GRAM
(וְיִתְּנֻ֗הוּ) wə·yit·tə·nu·hū, And let them deliver it GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- into GRAM DICO
יַד֙ yaḏ the hand GRAM DICO
עֹשֵׂ֣י ‘ō·śê of those doing GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה ham·mə·lā·ḵāh, the work GRAM DICO
､
הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים ham·mup̄·qā·ḏîm who are the overseers GRAM DICO
[בבית] bə·ḇêṯ  -  GRAM
(בֵּ֣ית) bêṯ in the house of GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
וְיִתְּנ֣וּ wə·yit·tə·nū and let them give GRAM DICO
אֹת֗וֹ ’ō·ṯōw, it GRAM DICO
לְעֹשֵׂ֤י lə·‘ō·śê to those who [are] doing GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָאכָה֙ ham·mə·lā·ḵāh the work GRAM DICO
אֲשֶׁר֙ ’ă·šer that GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ in the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֔ה Yah·weh, of Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
לְחַזֵּ֖ק lə·ḥaz·zêq to repair GRAM DICO
בֶּ֥דֶק be·ḏeq the damages GRAM DICO
הַבָּֽיִת׃ hab·bā·yiṯ. of the house GRAM DICO

לֶחָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים le·ḥā·rā·šîm, to carpenters GRAM DICO
､
וְלַבֹּנִ֖ים wə·lab·bō·nîm and builders GRAM DICO
､
וְלַגֹּֽדְרִ֑ים wə·lag·gō·ḏə·rîm; and masons GRAM DICO
､
וְלִקְנ֤וֹת wə·liq·nō·wṯ and to buy GRAM DICO
עֵצִים֙ ‘ê·ṣîm timber GRAM DICO
וְאַבְנֵ֣י wə·’aḇ·nê and stone GRAM DICO
מַחְצֵ֔ב maḥ·ṣêḇ, hewn GRAM DICO
לְחַזֵּ֖ק lə·ḥaz·zêq to repair GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַבָּֽיִת׃ hab·bā·yiṯ. the house GRAM DICO

אַ֚ךְ ’aḵ However GRAM DICO
לֹא־ lō- no GRAM DICO
יֵחָשֵׁ֣ב yê·ḥā·šêḇ there need be accounting made GRAM DICO
אִתָּ֔ם ’it·tām, with them GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֖סֶף hak·ke·sep̄ of the money GRAM DICO
הַנִּתָּ֣ן han·nit·tān delivered GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- into GRAM DICO
יָדָ֑ם yā·ḏām; their hand GRAM DICO
､
כִּ֥י kî because GRAM DICO
בֶאֱמוּנָ֖ה ḇe·’ĕ·mū·nāh faithfully GRAM DICO
הֵ֥ם hêm they GRAM DICO
עֹשִֽׂים׃ ‘ō·śîm. deal GRAM DICO

וַ֠יֹּאמֶר way·yō·mer And said GRAM DICO
חִלְקִיָּ֜הוּ ḥil·qî·yā·hū Hilkiah GRAM DICO
הַכֹּהֵ֤ן hak·kō·hên the priest GRAM DICO
הַגָּדוֹל֙ hag·gā·ḏō·wl high GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- to GRAM DICO
שָׁפָ֣ן šā·p̄ān Shaphan GRAM DICO
הַסֹּפֵ֔ר has·sō·p̄êr, the scribe GRAM DICO
､
סֵ֧פֶר sê·p̄er the book GRAM DICO
הַתּוֹרָ֛ה hat·tō·w·rāh of the Law GRAM DICO
מָצָ֖אתִי mā·ṣā·ṯî I have found GRAM DICO
בְּבֵ֣ית bə·ḇêṯ in the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיִּתֵּ֨ן way·yit·tên And gave GRAM DICO
חִלְקִיָּ֧ה ḥil·qî·yāh Hilkiah GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַסֵּ֛פֶר has·sê·p̄er the Book GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- to GRAM DICO
שָׁפָ֖ן šā·p̄ān Shaphan GRAM DICO

וַיִּקְרָאֵֽהוּ׃ way·yiq·rā·’ê·hū. and he read it GRAM DICO

הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ, the king GRAM DICO
､
וַיָּ֥שֶׁב way·yā·šeḇ and bringing GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ ham·me·leḵ the king GRAM DICO
דָּבָ֑ר dā·ḇār; word GRAM DICO
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, and saying GRAM DICO
､
הִתִּ֤יכוּ hit·tî·ḵū have gathered GRAM DICO
עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā Your servants GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ hak·ke·sep̄ the money GRAM DICO
הַנִּמְצָ֣א han·nim·ṣā that was found GRAM DICO
בַבַּ֔יִת ḇab·ba·yiṯ, in the house GRAM DICO
､
וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֗הוּ way·yit·tə·nu·hū, and have delivered it GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- into GRAM DICO
יַד֙ yaḏ the hand GRAM DICO
עֹשֵׂ֣י ‘ō·śê of those who do GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה ham·mə·lā·ḵāh, the work GRAM DICO
､
הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים ham·mup̄·qā·ḏîm who oversee GRAM DICO
בֵּ֥ית bêṯ the house GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO
