וְעַתָּ֖ה wə·‘at·tāh But now GRAM DICO
קְחוּ־ qə·ḥū- bring GRAM DICO
לִ֣י lî me GRAM
מְנַגֵּ֑ן mə·nag·gên; a musician GRAM DICO
.
וְהָיָה֙ wə·hā·yāh And it came to pass GRAM DICO
､
כְּנַגֵּ֣ן kə·nag·gên when played GRAM DICO
הַֽמְנַגֵּ֔ן ham·nag·gên, the musician GRAM DICO
､
וַתְּהִ֥י wat·tə·hî that came GRAM DICO
עָלָ֖יו ‘ā·lāw upon him GRAM DICO
יַד־ yaḏ- the hand GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. of Yahweh GRAM DICO

וַיֹּ֕אמֶר way·yō·mer And he said GRAM DICO
､
כֹּ֖ה kōh thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
עָשֹׂ֛ה ‘ā·śōh Make GRAM DICO
הַנַּ֥חַל han·na·ḥal valley GRAM DICO
הַזֶּ֖ה haz·zeh this GRAM DICO
גֵּבִ֥ים ׀ gê·ḇîm full GRAM DICO
גֵּבִֽים׃ gê·ḇîm. full of ditches GRAM DICO

כִּֽי־ kî- For GRAM DICO
כֹ֣ה ׀ ḵōh thus GRAM DICO
אָמַ֣ר ’ā·mar says GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֗ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
､
לֹֽא־ lō- not GRAM DICO
תִרְא֥וּ ṯir·’ū You shall see GRAM DICO
ר֙וּחַ֙ rū·aḥ wind GRAM DICO
､
וְלֹֽא־ wə·lō- nor GRAM DICO
תִרְא֣וּ ṯir·’ū shall you see GRAM DICO
גֶ֔שֶׁם ḡe·šem, rain GRAM DICO
–
וְהַנַּ֥חַל wə·han·na·ḥal and yet valley GRAM DICO
הַה֖וּא ha·hū that GRAM DICO
יִמָּ֣לֵא yim·mā·lê shall be filled GRAM DICO
מָ֑יִם mā·yim; with water GRAM DICO
､
וּשְׁתִיתֶ֛ם ū·šə·ṯî·ṯem so that may drink GRAM DICO
､
אַתֶּ֥ם ’at·tem you GRAM DICO
､
וּמִקְנֵיכֶ֖ם ū·miq·nê·ḵem and your cattle GRAM DICO
､
וּֽבְהֶמְתְּכֶֽם׃ ū·ḇə·hem·tə·ḵem. and your animals GRAM DICO

וְנָקַ֥ל wə·nā·qal And is a simple matter GRAM DICO
זֹ֖את zōṯ this GRAM DICO
בְּעֵינֵ֣י bə·‘ê·nê in the sight GRAM DICO
יְהוָ֑ה Yah·weh; of Yahweh GRAM DICO
–
וְנָתַ֥ן wə·nā·ṯan and He will deliver GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
מוֹאָ֖ב mō·w·’āḇ the Moabites GRAM DICO
בְּיֶדְכֶֽם׃ bə·yeḏ·ḵem. into your hand GRAM DICO

וְהִכִּיתֶ֞ם wə·hik·kî·ṯem And you shall attack GRAM DICO
כָּל־ kāl- every GRAM DICO
עִ֤יר ‘îr city GRAM DICO
､
מִבְצָר֙ miḇ·ṣār fortified GRAM DICO
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and every GRAM DICO
עִ֣יר ‘îr city GRAM DICO
､
מִבְח֔וֹר miḇ·ḥō·wr, choice GRAM DICO
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and every GRAM DICO
עֵ֥ץ ‘êṣ tree GRAM DICO
､
טוֹב֙ ṭō·wḇ good GRAM DICO
תַּפִּ֔ילוּ tap·pî·lū, shall cut down GRAM DICO
וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl and every GRAM DICO
מַעְיְנֵי־ ma‘·yə·nê- spring GRAM DICO
מַ֖יִם ma·yim of water GRAM DICO
､
תִּסְתֹּ֑מוּ tis·tō·mū; stop up GRAM DICO
וְכֹל֙ wə·ḵōl and every GRAM DICO
הַחֶלְקָ֣ה ha·ḥel·qāh piece of land GRAM DICO
הַטּוֹבָ֔ה haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh, good GRAM DICO
תַּכְאִ֖בוּ taḵ·’i·ḇū ruin GRAM DICO
בָּאֲבָנִֽים׃ bā·’ă·ḇā·nîm. with stones GRAM DICO

וַיְהִ֤י way·hî And it came to pass GRAM DICO
בַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ ḇab·bō·qer in the morning GRAM DICO
､
כַּעֲל֣וֹת ka·‘ă·lō·wṯ when was offered GRAM DICO
､
הַמִּנְחָ֔ה ham·min·ḥāh, the grain offering GRAM DICO
וְהִנֵּה־ wə·hin·nêh- that suddenly GRAM DICO
､
מַ֥יִם ma·yim water GRAM DICO
בָּאִ֖ים bā·’îm came GRAM DICO
מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ mid·de·reḵ by way GRAM DICO
אֱד֑וֹם ’ĕ·ḏō·wm; of Edom GRAM DICO
､
וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א wat·tim·mā·lê and was filled GRAM DICO
הָאָ֖רֶץ hā·’ā·reṣ the land GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ- with GRAM DICO
הַמָּֽיִם׃ ham·mā·yim. water GRAM DICO

וְכָל־ wə·ḵāl And when all GRAM DICO
מוֹאָב֙ mō·w·’āḇ the Moabites GRAM DICO
שָֽׁמְע֔וּ šā·mə·‘ū, heard GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- that GRAM DICO
עָל֥וּ ‘ā·lū had come up GRAM DICO
הַמְּלָכִ֖ים ham·mə·lā·ḵîm the kings GRAM DICO
לְהִלָּ֣חֶם lə·hil·lā·ḥem to fight GRAM DICO
בָּ֑ם bām; against them GRAM
וַיִּצָּעֲק֗וּ way·yiṣ·ṣā·‘ă·qū, and were gathered GRAM DICO
מִכֹּ֨ל mik·kōl all GRAM DICO
חֹגֵ֤ר ḥō·ḡêr who were able to bear GRAM DICO
חֲגֹרָה֙ ḥă·ḡō·rāh arms GRAM DICO
､
וָמַ֔עְלָה wā·ma‘·lāh, and older GRAM DICO
､
וַיַּעַמְד֖וּ way·ya·‘am·ḏū and they stood GRAM DICO
עַֽל־ ‘al- at GRAM DICO
הַגְּבֽוּל׃ hag·gə·ḇūl. the border GRAM DICO

וַיַּשְׁכִּ֣ימוּ way·yaš·kî·mū And they rose up early GRAM DICO
בַבֹּ֔קֶר ḇab·bō·qer, in the morning GRAM DICO
､
וְהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁ wə·haš·še·meš and the sun GRAM DICO
זָרְחָ֣ה zā·rə·ḥāh was shining GRAM DICO
עַל־ ‘al- on GRAM DICO
הַמָּ֑יִם ham·mā·yim; the water GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּרְא֨וּ way·yir·’ū and saw GRAM DICO
מוֹאָ֥ב mō·w·’āḇ the Moabites GRAM DICO
מִנֶּ֛גֶד min·ne·ḡeḏ on the other side GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
הַמַּ֖יִם ham·ma·yim the water GRAM DICO
אֲדֻמִּ֥ים ’ă·ḏum·mîm [as] red GRAM DICO
כַּדָּֽם׃ kad·dām. as blood GRAM DICO

וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ way·yō·mə·rū And they said GRAM DICO
､
דָּ֣ם dām blood GRAM DICO
–
זֶ֔ה zeh, this [is] GRAM DICO
הָחֳרֵ֤ב hā·ḥo·rêḇ surely GRAM DICO
נֶֽחֶרְבוּ֙ ne·ḥer·ḇū have struck swords GRAM DICO
､
הַמְּלָכִ֔ים ham·mə·lā·ḵîm, the kings GRAM DICO
וַיַּכּ֖וּ way·yak·kū and have killed GRAM DICO
אִ֣ישׁ ’îš one GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
רֵעֵ֑הוּ rê·‘ê·hū; another GRAM DICO
וְעַתָּ֥ה wə·‘at·tāh therefore now GRAM DICO
לַשָּׁלָ֖ל laš·šā·lāl to the spoil GRAM DICO
