I Samuel 16, 12
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח way·yiš·laḥ So he sent GRAM DICO
､
וַיְבִיאֵ֙הוּ֙ way·ḇî·’ê·hū and brought him in GRAM DICO
וְה֣וּא wə·hū and he GRAM DICO
אַדְמוֹנִ֔י ’aḏ·mō·w·nî, [was] ruddy GRAM DICO
､
עִם־ ‘im- with GRAM DICO
יְפֵ֥ה yə·p̄êh bright GRAM DICO
עֵינַ֖יִם ‘ê·na·yim eyes GRAM DICO
､
וְט֣וֹב wə·ṭō·wḇ and GRAM DICO
רֹ֑אִי rō·’î; good-looking GRAM DICO

יְהוָ֛ה Yah·weh Yahweh GRAM DICO
ק֥וּם qūm Arise GRAM DICO

מְשָׁחֵ֖הוּ mə·šā·ḥê·hū anoint him GRAM DICO
כִּֽי־ kî- for GRAM DICO
זֶ֥ה zeh this GRAM DICO
הֽוּא׃ hū. [is] he GRAM DICO

וַיִּקַּ֨ח way·yiq·qaḥ And took GRAM DICO
שְׁמוּאֵ֜ל šə·mū·’êl Samuel GRAM DICO
אֶת־ ’eṯ-  -  GRAM DICO
קֶ֣רֶן qe·ren the horn GRAM DICO
הַשֶּׁ֗מֶן haš·še·men, of oil GRAM DICO
､
וַיִּמְשַׁ֣ח way·yim·šaḥ and anointed GRAM DICO
אֹתוֹ֮ ’ō·ṯōw him GRAM DICO
בְּקֶ֣רֶב bə·qe·reḇ in the midst GRAM DICO
אֶחָיו֒ ’e·ḥāw of his brothers GRAM DICO
–
וַתִּצְלַ֤ח wat·tiṣ·laḥ and came GRAM DICO
רֽוּחַ־ rū·aḥ- the Spirit GRAM DICO
יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh of Yahweh GRAM DICO
אֶל־ ’el- upon GRAM DICO
דָּוִ֔ד dā·wiḏ, David GRAM DICO
מֵהַיּ֥וֹם mê·hay·yō·wm from day GRAM DICO
הַה֖וּא ha·hū that GRAM DICO
וָמָ֑עְלָה wā·mā·‘ə·lāh; and forward GRAM DICO
.
וַיָּ֣קָם way·yā·qām So arose GRAM DICO
､
שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל šə·mū·’êl, Samuel GRAM DICO
וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ way·yê·leḵ and went GRAM DICO
הָרָמָֽתָה׃ hā·rā·mā·ṯāh. to Ramah GRAM DICO

וּבִֽעֲתַ֥תּוּ ū·ḇi·‘ă·ṯat·tū and troubled him GRAM DICO
רֽוּחַ־ rū·aḥ- a spirit GRAM DICO
רָעָ֖ה rā·‘āh distressing GRAM DICO
מֵאֵ֥ת mê·’êṯ from GRAM DICO
יְהוָֽה׃ Yah·weh. Yahweh GRAM DICO

שָׁא֖וּל šā·’ūl of Saul GRAM DICO
אֵלָ֑יו ’ê·lāw; to him GRAM DICO
הִנֵּה־ hin·nêh- surely GRAM DICO
נָ֧א nā now GRAM DICO
､
רֽוּחַ־ rū·aḥ- a spirit GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִ֛ים ’ĕ·lō·hîm from God GRAM DICO
רָעָ֖ה rā·‘āh distressing GRAM DICO
מְבַעִתֶּֽךָ׃ mə·ḇa·‘it·te·ḵā. is troubling you GRAM DICO

יֹאמַר־ yō·mar- Command GRAM DICO
נָ֤א nā let now GRAM DICO
אֲדֹנֵ֙נוּ֙ ’ă·ḏō·nê·nū our master GRAM DICO
עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā your servants [who are] GRAM DICO
､
לְפָנֶ֔יךָ lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā, before you GRAM DICO
יְבַקְשׁ֕וּ yə·ḇaq·šū to seek out GRAM DICO
אִ֕ישׁ ’îš a man GRAM DICO
､
יֹדֵ֖עַ yō·ḏê·a‘ skillful GRAM DICO
מְנַגֵּ֣ן mə·nag·gên [who is] a player GRAM DICO
בַּכִּנּ֑וֹר bak·kin·nō·wr; on the harp GRAM DICO
–
וְהָיָ֗ה wə·hā·yāh, and it shall be GRAM DICO
､
בִּֽהְי֨וֹת bih·yō·wṯ when GRAM DICO
עָלֶ֤יךָ ‘ā·le·ḵā is upon you GRAM DICO
רֽוּחַ־ rū·aḥ- the spirit GRAM DICO
אֱלֹהִים֙ ’ĕ·lō·hîm from God GRAM DICO
רָעָ֔ה rā·‘āh, distressing GRAM DICO
וְנִגֵּ֥ן wə·nig·gên that he shall play it GRAM DICO
בְּיָד֖וֹ bə·yā·ḏōw with his hand GRAM DICO
､
וְט֥וֹב wə·ṭō·wḇ and [will be] well GRAM DICO
לָֽךְ׃ lāḵ. you GRAM

מֵיטִ֣יב mê·ṭîḇ well GRAM DICO
､
לְנַגֵּ֔ן lə·nag·gên, who can play GRAM DICO
וַהֲבִיאוֹתֶ֖ם wa·hă·ḇî·’ō·w·ṯem and bring [him] GRAM DICO
אֵלָֽי׃ ’ê·lāy. to me GRAM DICO

אֶחָ֨ד ’e·ḥāḏ one GRAM DICO
מֵהַנְּעָרִ֜ים mê·han·nə·‘ā·rîm of the servants GRAM DICO
､
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר way·yō·mer, and said GRAM DICO
､
הִנֵּ֨ה hin·nêh Look GRAM DICO
､
רָאִ֜יתִי rā·’î·ṯî I have seen GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ן bên a son GRAM DICO
לְיִשַׁי֮ lə·yi·šay of Jesse GRAM DICO
בֵּ֣ית bêṯ in GRAM
הַלַּחְמִי֒ hal·laḥ·mî the Bethlehemite GRAM DICO
､
יֹדֵ֣עַ yō·ḏê·a‘ [who is] skillful GRAM DICO
נַ֠גֵּן nag·gên in playing GRAM DICO
､
וְגִבּ֨וֹר wə·ḡib·bō·wr and mighty GRAM DICO
חַ֜יִל ḥa·yil a man of valor GRAM DICO
､
וְאִ֧ישׁ wə·’îš and a man GRAM DICO
מִלְחָמָ֛ה mil·ḥā·māh of war GRAM DICO
､
וּנְב֥וֹן ū·nə·ḇō·wn and prudent GRAM DICO
דָּבָ֖ר dā·ḇār in speech GRAM DICO
､
וְאִ֣ישׁ wə·’îš and a person GRAM DICO
､
תֹּ֑אַר tō·’ar; handsome GRAM DICO
וַיהוָ֖ה Yah·weh and Yahweh [is] GRAM DICO
עִמּֽוֹ׃ ‘im·mōw. with him GRAM DICO
